New Abia Governor drops ‘His Excellency’ title, bans congratulatory messages & advertisement The Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has formally directed that the appellations; His Excellency and Executive , be dropped in all official and informal communication with him. He would rather prefer to be addressed simply as Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, Governor of Abia State. The Governor wants all public communication to be concentrated on the work and policies of the state and not on the person of the Governor and has therefore directed all contractors, political groups, individuals and party loyalists not to put his portrait on billboards, posters and signages but to only use the pictures of ongoing projects in their billboards and posters. The Governor has also directed the general public to remove all congratulatory posters and election billboards littering the environment as these public posters are defacing the environment of the state. He has further charged the people of the State to be partners with Government in ensuring a healthy and beautiful environment. He is also, by this directive, re-assuring the good people of Abia State of his mission of service to the people and therefore urged the citizenry to key into the new vision. Signed: Godwin Adindu Chief Press Secretary to the Governor. http://www.informationng.com/?p=296416

Six days after the inauguration of President Muhammadu Buhari, some services amounting to about N500million have not been paid for. The money was said to have been cornered by one of the members of the committee. The unsettled bill has led to a blame game between the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. But the most affected are ushers and some traditional artistes engaged for the inauguration. The over 150 ushers, mostly unemployed graduates, were stranded yesterday in Abuja with no one attending to them. Investigation by our correspondent revealed that although about N2.7billion was voted for the inauguration, it was not certain how much was actually disbursed to six to seven sub- committees by the Main Committee. One of the mysterious debts was N300million incurred by the inauguration committee on aviation-related expenditures. It was gathered that although the money was released, a former political office holder offered to use it as an exit package and failed to remit to the relevant committee. Those owed the N300million were shuttling between the SGF office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday with the two units trading blames. A reliable source, who spoke in confidence, said: “We do not know the whereabouts of over N500million meant to settle some bills. Some members of the inauguration committee have bolted away with it. “In fact out of the N500million, there is an embarrassing debt of about N300million which is yet to be settled. The aviation-related expenses had to do with the movement of facilities for visiting Heads of State and foreign dignitaries. “We are busy shuttling between the Office of the SGF and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with no one claming responsibility. “If the government scrutinizes the records of other sub-committees, more dirty deals will be uncovered. Some inauguration committee members took advantage of the outgoing administration to divert public funds.” One of the officials involved in the inauguration said most ushers have not been paid their stipends. “We engaged over 150 ushers, especially unemployed graduates and married women, but there is no money to pay them. We had votes for the payment of the stipends but some officials diverted same. “The ushers are stranded, they do not know who to contact for their stipends. Those who recruited them have left office.” One of the ushers said: “It is sad that we stayed under the scorching sun for hours without being paid our stipends. This is just unfortunate. “We want the new administration to look into the diversion of stipends meant for innocent citizens like us.” Another usher said: “The organizers promised to sew three different dresses for us but they ended up providing one. “Even with a dress, our size was not taken into consideration by those contracted. Some dresses were sewn without headgear. The whole thing was a rip-off.” Checks revealed that the inauguration committee did not leave any report behind before winding up its activities abruptly. Another source said: “The only favour the administration of President Buhari can do this nation is to hold all the civil servants in the Main Committee and sub-committees responsible for the disbursement of the votes for the inauguration. http://thenationonlineng.net/new/inauguration-row-over-missing-n500m/

A game of two (other) halves! Newcastle footballer Papiss Cisse leaves girlfriend for holiday... and three days later marries Senegalese volleyball player fiancée in Paris Newcastle footballer Papiss Cisse has left his on-off girlfriend heartbroken after telling her he was going on holiday only to marry a volleyball player three days later. Rachelle Graham, 24, a beauty queen and former Miss Newcastle, says last week she kissed and waved off the Senegalese striker, 30, believing he was off to spend a month in his homeland. But after he failed to return her texts she became worried and went online, finding a picture of her love's wedding to sportswoman Diallo Awa, 29, at a yacht club outside Paris. They had broken up last year after trolls abused them because it was a mixed race relationship - but recently they had started seeing each other more regularly again. Happy couple: Cisse married the sportswoman at a yacht club in Paris and are believed to be in Senegal Happy couple: Cisse married the sportswoman at a yacht club in Paris and are believed to be in Senegal She even did a charity skydive to raise money for a community ambulance in the striker's native Senegal. Miss Graham told The Sun: 'I'm hurt and disgusted to learn Papiss has got married without me knowing after we spent so much time together recently. 'But it's his life and if this is what he has chosen to do there is nothing much I can do about it. I just wish he had the decency to tell me first.' Cisse's new wife is a Senegalese volleyball star and model who represents her national team and Stade Francais in Paris, where she lives. She walked down the aisle in a long white dress while the footballer, who earns £40,000-a-week, wore a navy suit. After the ceremony there was a lavish reception with cordon bleu catering and three cakes. But the footballer would not have been drinking because he is a a strict Muslim who prays five times a day. Their families, members of his new wife's volleyball team and dignitaries from Senegal also flew to France for the wedding last week. Papiss Cisse would have had plenty of time to plan the wedding because in March he was banned for seven games for his part in the spitting storm that also involved Manchester United defender Jonny Evans. He was fined a week’s wages of around £40,000 by Newcastle, and was banned until May. In 2013 Cisse, who is one of a number of Muslim players at Newcastle, had refused to wear the club's shirt because it was sponsored by Wonga, as it conflicts with his religious beliefs. Under Sharia law, Muslims must not benefit from either lending money or receiving money from another person - meaning that interest is prohibited. Interest is not paid on Islamic bank accounts or added to mortgages. But later an image emerged on Twitter that claims to show the Senegalese forward gambling in a casino. Eventually he agreed to wear the shirt. Hoes are not loyal they said... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3110513/A-game-two-halves-Newcastle-footballer-Papiss-Cisse-leaves-girlfriend-holiday-three-days-later-marries-Senegalese-volleyball-player-fianc-e-Paris.html?ito=social-facebook

Losing a job can be very demoralizing and depressing, i've been in this situation before and i know how it feels. The following are some tips that could help you bounce back from a job loss. feel free to add more... 1. Stay future-focused. It’s easy to get stuck in the past and what shoulda-woulda-coulda happened, but didn’t. Doing so only perpetuates destructive emotions that fuel anger, self-pity and a sense of powerlessness. Focus on the future, and on what you need to do to set yourself up as well as possible on the job front, in how you are budgeting your money, and in your relationship with those who can help you find a new job. What you focus on expands, so focus on what you want, not on what you don’t. 2. Don’t let your job status define you. Sure, losing your job is a very personal experience, but don’t take it too personally. Who you are is not what you do. Never was. Never will be. Research by psychologist Marty Seligman found that the biggest determinant between those who succeed after setbacks of any kind is how they interpret them. People who interpret losing their job as a sign of personal inadequacy or failure are less likely to ‘get back on the horse’ in their job hunt than those who interpret it as an unfortunate circumstance that provided a valuable opportunity to grow in self-awareness, re-evaluate priorities and build resilience. You define who you are, not your job or a company’s decision whether or not to employ you. Don’t take it as a personal rejection against you. It may well be due to economic forces far beyond your control that you found yourself out of work. Potential employers will be more attracted to people who have proven their ability to stay positive and confident despite a setback/job loss. 3. Prioritize self-care. When you’ve lost your job it is all too easy plant yourself on the couch, remote in one hand, beer or bag of chips in the other, and wallow in self-pity. Many do! But mental and emotional resilience requires physical resilience. So be intentional about taking care of YOU and doing whatever it takes to feel strong and fit. (After all, you now have no excuse that you don’t have time for exercise.) Studies have found that exercise builds resilience, leaving you more immune to stress. Get outdoors, go for a run, do some gardening, or just do something that lifts your spirits – whether building your kids a cubby house or taking your dog to the beach – and helps to shift the negative emotions that have the potential to keep you from being proactive in your job hunt. 4. Surround yourself with positive people. Emotions are contagious. The people around you impact how you see yourself, your situation and what you do to improve it. Be intentional about who you hang out with and don’t get sucked into the vortex of those who want a marathon pity party. It wastes precious time and energy far better spent getting back into the workforce. Surround yourself with people who lift you up, and avoid those who don’t. Read positive books, watch inspiring movies, and remember that your family will take their cue from you. Let them know that while you may not have chosen your circumstances, you are confident that with time and effort, you will all pull through together, and be all the stronger and wiser for it. 5. Tap your network. The more people who know what you want, the more who can help you get it. The vast majority of jobs are never advertised. So the adage “Your network is your net worth” is particularly relevant when it comes to finding those jobs that are filled via word of mouth. Reach out to people you know and enlist their support in making any introductions or connections that could help you. Whatever you do, never underestimate the power of your network to open up opportunities and land you that “lucky break” you were hoping for. 6. Treat finding a job as a job. If you feel the need, and can afford to do it, give yourself a break for a few days or week or two. But assuming you can’t afford a year sailing the world on the Queen Mary, don’t take too long before returning to your familiar routine. Create structure in your day. Sure you have more time on your hands than you had before, but you will be amazed at how little you can do in a day if you aren’t intentional about what you want to get done. Create a job search plan with goals and small manageable steps. Then prioritize, structure your day and treat finding a job as a job. 7. Extend kindness. It’s pretty simple really: extending kindness toward others makes us feel good. It’s not just a nice thing to do something for others – whether helping a neighbor or volunteering – it’s actually a helpful thing to do for ourselves. Yes, scientists have found that acts of kindness produce some of the same “feel good” chemicals in the brain as anti-depressants. In addition, when we give our time to help others, it helps us stop dwelling on our own problems, and makes us realize how much we have to be thankful for. It can also can be an effective way to build your network, and show potential employers you are not sitting idly by waiting for work to come your way. There’s no better mood booster than making a difference for someone else, even when you wish your own life were different than it is. 8. Rethink Your Priorities Once you’ve established a particular standard of living, it can be tough to adjust that downward, but Brewer says it’s crucial to separate your wants from your needs and make the necessary changes to reflect your new financial reality. Particularly if you’re living off of your emergency fund, you’ll need to think about where you can cut back so you don’t eat through your savings so quickly. 9. List your positives. Make a list of all the things you like about yourself, including skills, personality traits, accomplishments, and successes. Write down projects you’re proud of, situations where you excelled, and things you’re good at. Revisit this list often to remind yourself of your strengths. 10. Focus on the things you can control. You can’t control how quickly a potential employer calls you back or whether or not they decide to hire you. Rather than wasting your precious energy on things that are out of your hands, turn your attention to things you can control during your unemployment, such as writing a great cover letter and resume tailored to the company you want to work for and setting up meetings with your networking contacts. 11. Make time for regular exercise. Exercise can be a great outlet for stress and worry while you’re unemployed and looking for work. It is also a powerful mood and energy booster. Aim for at least 30 minutes of exercise on most days of the week. |
Did OBJ declare his asset when he left office? Has GEJ been mandated to declare his asset yet? Have all the outgoing ministers, governors, national assembly members and political office holders been made to declare their assets yet? It is of no importance to force someone to declare his asset publicly while assuming office when he won't do same while leaving. Which public office holder in Nigeria has been queried before for not declaring his/her asset when leaving office? This is all publicity stunt and misplaced priority anywhere I hope PMB declaring his asset publicly will create employment, stabilize power supply, make petrol products available and affordable, stop boko haram, end corruption and make 1$=N1. |
The Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Mr. Najeem Salaam, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to come to the aide of States that are owing their workers. The Speaker made the plea in a statement that was issued by his media aide, Mr Goke Butika on Friday. Salaami noted that the masses will feel the impact of the bail-out. He stressed that most of the states defaulted in paying their workers because of the reduction in their allocation as a result of the drop in oil price, adding that the States needed the federal government to come to their aide. The statement read, “The fixing of Nigeria should begin with the bailing out of the states that could not pay salaries so that people at the grassroots can have a sigh of relief. “It will go a long way for the Buhari presidency to have a consultative meeting with all governors and listen to them with a view to developing a road map that would facilitate mutual solutions to the challenges facing the states.” The speaker further admonished governors irrespective of their political affiliation to align with the programmes of the new President. dailypost.ng/2015/05/30/osun-speaker-seeks-buhari-support-over-unpaid-salaries/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter

Joseph Sepp Blatter has today been re-elected as the President of the world football governing body FIFA for the 5th term. Blatter saw off the challenge from Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein of Jordan after a week which saw seven FIFA officials arrested and 18 people connected to football indicted on corruption charges by the US justice department. Blatter won the first round by 133 votes to 73 and, after Prince Ali decided to withdraw ahead of the second round, the 79-year-old was installed as FIFA president for another four years. The outcome of the first-round vote meant Prince Ali succeeded in preventing Blatter from winning a two- thirds majority, but the 39-year-old pulled out of the contest rather than force a second round of voting. His supporters had been keen to get past the 70-vote mark as that would be seen to have delivered a bloody nose to Blatter. The victory is also set to see further protests from UEFA - the first action has come from David Gill, the Football Association vice-chairman who will reject the post of British vice-president as he does not want to serve under Blatter. Gill will not attend the post-Congress executive committee meeting on Saturday where a decision is set to be taken on the allocation of World Cup places to each confederation.

Coordinating Minister for the Economy (CME) and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on Saturday put the nation’s total debt stock at $63.7 billion, which encompasses multilateral as well as domestic loans by successive federal and state governments since 1960. She said that of this figure, $21.8 billion was incurred under the outgoing government of President Goodluck Jonathan. Her disclosure is coming on the heels of remarks by Vice President-elect Yemi Osinbajo that the outgoing administration of President Jonathan will be leaving a huge debt of $60 billion for the incoming administration of Muhammadu Buhari. Speaking during an interactive session with finance correspondents in Abuja on Saturday, she said it was wrong to blame the Jonathan administration for the huge debt stock which she said was accumulated over a long period of time by several administrations. Giving insight into the $21.8 billion debts incurred under the Jonathan government the minister said the debts were made up of $18 billion domestic component and $3.7 billion external component. According to her between 2007 and 2011, a debt of $17.3 billion was recorded while between 2012 and 2015, the debt incurred stood at $18.1 billion. She explained that the leap in the debt profile between 2012 and 2015 was triggered off by the 53 per cent wage increase implemented by the late Umaru Yar’Adua administration in a fell swoop. This, she said, skyrocketed government’s borrowing from N524 billion to over N1 trillion in order to meet the salary increase, adding that the country’s domestic debt increased by $18.1 billion mainly because of the 53 per cent increase in the pay of civil and public servants. The minister stated that at the time of the salary increase, she was still with the World Bank, adding that she had written and warned on the consequences of acquiescing to such a huge increase. Absolving the Jonathan administration of blame, the minister said the government had in deed taken a careful and meticulous approach to managing the nation’s debt, noting that the present administration, for the first time in the nation’s history, retired a domestic debt of N75 billion in 2013. Commenting on the $63.7 billion debt stock, the minister said $9.7 billion or 15 per cent is external while $54 billion or 85 per cent represents domestic debt. She added that the states’ share of the $9.7 billion external debt is 33 per cent while the states’ share of the $54 billion is 20 per cent. Okonjo-Iweala pointed out that Nigeria still has one of the lowest fiscal deficits in the world with debt to GDP ratio of about 1.5 per cent of the budget, adding that the government has used the right tools to manage the economy and has only borrowed at very low concessionary rates to fund important infrastructure initiatives in agriculture, aviation, power, roads, health, and water resources, among others. The minister added that where the country should watch carefully is the debt service to revenue, which is at 22 per cent. She argued that it was wrong to “to characterise the Jonathan administration as leaving $63 billion debt since the country’s debt stock was accumulated over a long time by several administrations. Commenting on the lingering fuel scarcity, the minister said most of the marketers were blackmailing the government and by extension, Nigerians. According to her, Nigerians should rise up and ask questions why the marketers reneged on their promise a fortnight ago after they openly told the entire country that they had sorted out their differences with the government and that they were going to end the scarcity. She said soon after that open declaration, the marketers went back and shut down their supply chains, noting that they had requested her to sign that government was going to pay them N159 billion as foreign exchange differentials out of the N200 billion claims they were making. The Finance Minister stated that the marketers, who had earlier agreed with the setting up of an ad hoc committee made up of their representatives, those of Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), Debt Management Office (DMO), and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to verify their claims suddenly backed out. According to her, she could not sign off monies that she would find difficult to explain to Nigerians later, urging the populace to rise up and challenge the marketers. While applauding some marketers that have demonstrated patriotic disposition to this current crisis, the minister noted that many marketers had resorted to black market operations and had kept on fleecing Nigerians and smiling to the bank. The minister, who said she had no regrets serving Nigeria, noted that it was a privilege serving one’s fatherland . According to her, in spite of personal attacks on her from some quarters, she has no regrets as her service to the country has been guided by utmost patriotism and altruism. She noted that the records of service were there for all to see, adding that a 50 per cent fall in oil revenue did not amount to mismanagement of the economy as this was not caused by the government. The Jonathan administration, she said, was leaving “positive economic legacies behind which nobody can wish away because history cannot be rewritten”. Such legacies, she said, include 1.4 million jobs created yearly out of 1.8 million jobs required as confirmed by the National Bureau of Statistics; the Development Bank of Nigeria which she added, will make affordable loans of up to 10 years available to Nigerian businesses. The list, according to her include the Nigerian Mortgage Refinance Company which is spearheading a range of reforms which will vastly increase the number of mortgages in the country and 3600 Nigerians that were given multi million naira grants to finance their business and the 22000 direct jobs created and over 80,000 indirect jobs thru YOUWIN, among others. Meanwhile, a former Minister of Defence, General Theophilous Danjuma has tasked the President-elect General Muhammadu Buhari to probe President Goodluck Jonathan and his administration's alleged gross mismanagement of resources which he said has left the nation indebted to the tune of over $60 billion. Danjuma, who spoke in Takum, Taraba State during the official commissioning of two set of bridges he constructed along Takum-Katsina highway yesterday, said it has become imperative for the incoming administration to probe the outgoing administration if the menace of corruption would be curbed in the country. Danjuma said, "It is disheartening to know that the incoming government of Buhari will have to contend with a debt of over $60 billion and there is nothing to show for this huge debt. Well, we would know what happened to these monies because I believe that the Buhari administration has to, and should, in national interest, investigate the administration so that we would know what happened". Giving reasons why he chose to not to participate in politics, Danjuma stated that he chose to steer clear of politics because for him, "all the political parties are the same, very bad and so I rather steer clear of it. I support anyone who comes to me for money based on what I make of their person irrespective of political affiliations." Meanwhile, ahead of Friday’s transition to a new government, economic analysts have stated that one of the major issues President-elect Buhari and his team will grapple with is the mixed corporate earnings performance of quoted companies and the conflicting macroeconomic signals which leave investors at sea regarding market direction and appropriate investment decisions. After the breath-taking rally in the Nigerian financial market post-2015 Presidential polls, markets recently bucked the trend, defying analysts' expectation of a strong rebound post elections. Data collated by the financial and investment advisory firm, Afrinvest, at the weekend showed that the NSE All Share index, from a YTD high of 3.1 per cent (35,728.12) post presidential election closed the week on a YTD return of -0.8 per cet (34,388.12). The Afrinvest’s report noted that trading activities in the fixed income space has followed a similar pattern, bucking a strong rally post-elections - following renewed foreign investor appetite - to a sideways trading pattern over the past weeks. It said the development in the markets reflects the mixed corporate earnings performance of quoted companies and the conflicting macroeconomic signals which leave investors at sea regarding market direction and appropriate investment decisions. Headwind factors of rising consumer prices, fiscal austerity and consequent weaker consumer spending powers, as well as uncertain fiscal direction of political transition have veiled the improving dynamics in the polity and commodity prices. In its weekly report, a copy of which was made available to our correspondent at the weekend, Afrinvest reports that the global monetary landscape remains broadly accommodating while the domestic monetary landscape has also recorded some gains with the naira remaining stable while external reserves haemorrhage is being gradually contained.” Analysts from the company expressed the confidence that economy would bounce back once the incoming administration makes the direction of its economic policy known as Nigerian and foreign investors are currently adopting a wait-and-see attitude. The report said, “We imagine that the modulation the markets await is a successful transition to a new government come May 29th and more importantly, a stable fiscal environment which is consequent on the policy pronouncements of the incoming government. Whilst the risk factors (headwinds) are evident, recent positive signals (tailwinds) as noted above posit a short to medium term attractive valuations for securities.” www.thisdaylive.com/articles/okonjo-iweala-jonathan-incurred-21bn-of-63bn-national-debts/210139/?utm_medium=twitter |
1. Highly Processed White Flours After refining, processed white flours not only lose most all of their nutrients but they are also bleached with a chemical called chlorine gas. The EPA sites this gas as dangerous, irritant, that can be lethal. It is also very highly glycemic and bad for your blood sugar. Not only are they making us fat they might also be contributing to rising cancer rates. 2. Microwave Popcorn Everybody loves a yummy bag of popcorn. Making it in the microwave is easy and convenient. Unfortunately, according to wikipedia the bags of microwave popcorn are lined with perfluorooctanoic acid ( PFOA). This chemical is also found in Teflon. Studies have shown that this chemical can be linked with infertility in women and exposure significantly increases risk of kidney, bladder, liver, pancreas and testicular cancers. Find more out at cancer.org. Many microwave popcorns also still use diacetyl which Conagra stopped using due to employees using it getting lung cancer. 3. Artifical Sweeteners If you have to avoid sugar, are on a diet or have diabetes you might be using artificial sweeteners. However, many studies show that people usually GAIN weight when using them and can make it harder to control blood sugar. More studies are coming out that show aspertame, when broken down becomes a dealdy toxin called DKP. This breakdown of chemicals is known to cause certain brain tumors. 4. Alcohol Many of us enjoy a nice drink now and then but over consumption of alcohol can lead to many health issues including diabetes, obesity and many types of cancers. A recent study showed that postmenopausal women who drank one drink per day or less had a 30% increase in breast cancer rates than women who did not drink at all. Alchohol is the 2nd leading cause of cancer following tobacco. Experts working with the World Health Organization Research on Cancer found evidence that alcohol is the main cause of mouth, esophagus, liver, colon, mouth, rectum, and female breast cancers. 5. Refined Sugars and Soda Pop Many believe that refined sugars are the preferable food for cancer cells which helps them grow. High Fructose Corn Syrup being one of the main culprits because it is most easily metabolized by cancer cells. This puts most cakes, sodas, sauces, juices, etc on the NO NO list.. Sorry sweet tooths! 6. Processed Meats Like some hot dogs, sausages, bacon and lunch meats? Most of them have excessive salts and chemicals. Some studies show that people who regularly eat processed meats increased their chance of early death by as much as 43%. Sodium Nitrates are the biggest offenders and also a well know carcinogen with smoked meats being particularly bad. 7. Smoked, Pickled and Salted! These foods often have nitrates that turn into N-nitroso that is associated with higher cancer risks when digested. Smoked meats that are high in fat can help lead to stomach and colorectal cancer. 8. Potato Chips They sure make a great tasting quick snack but the negative effects far outweigh the short term pleasure. High in both fat and calories the cause weight gain. Add in often high Trans-Fats with sodium and you have the recipe for cancer and heart disease related health problems. 9. Farmed Salmon Over 60% of salmon eaten in the United States is farm raised. Being fed unatural diets with chemicals, antibiotics, pesticides and other known carcinogens these otherwise healthy fish are not very healthy at all. Studies have also shown high numbers of PCB’s and mercury in them. 10. Diet Foods Often loaded with Aspertame, a chemical in artificial sweeteners, diet foods are not very healthy at all. Excessive sodium, colors and refined ingredients are often added to make up for flavor loss. Many low fat foods actually have many MORE calories than their ‘Non diet’ associates. 11. Hydrogenated Oils These are vegetable oils. They must be chemically removed from their source and are often deodorized and colored. Also, excessive Omega-6 fatty acids cause health problems. 12. Red Meat Small amounts of red meat in a diet can be shown to be a good thing. Try to eat grass fed which has properties of linoleic acid which helps fight against some cancers. However, when speaking about colon cancer, red meats eaten everyday can lead to increased cancer risks. 13. Canned Tomatoes Many canned foods and obviously found in cans. Most cans are lined with a chemical called bisphenol-A or BPA. Study about 2 years ago showed that BPA’s affect the way genes worked inside rats’ brains. The FDA seems to agree this is a problem and is supporting efforts to reduce, replace or eliminate the amounts found in canned foods. The high acidity leaves tomatoes more dangerous because they can leech the BPA more readily from the can lining. Perhaps the moral of our story is if you dont know what is in your food and it isnt non-processed then do your research on it and think twice for a healthy lifestyle. http://bulletindailynews.com/2015/03/10/10-top-foods-that-might-be-causing-cancer/ |
Let's not panic, all will be well. Let's not forget this recruitment exercise is not sorely handled by the NIS, its a presidential committee with most of the service chiefs as members. Though there may be compromise but it will not be business as usual. Why the list of those scheduled for interview suddenly increased is because President Goodluck Johnathan approved automatic employment for 3 members of each of the deceased families of the last ill fated NIS exercise. Also All the injured victims were given automatic employment and this is the part where the exercise may be compromised. Hence the reason in the sudden increase. I believe the committee was aware of all these figures before they approved about 25,000 candidates for interview. In all a lot of people will be taken and by the Grace of God i am one of them. |

Please stop defrauding vulnerable Nigerians on here, if you could actually import as you claimed, you will be in the rank of Dangote et. al. My candid advise to you is to concentrate in setting up your family members, relatives and close friends, after this you will need no advertisement whatsoever. you and i know that you will not disclose this to any other person it it was actually genuine. You and your collaborators keep flooding my email with all sort of fraudulent messages. We are all agitating for change in Nigeria but you and your cohorts are busy trying to defraud Nigerians and increase their sorrows. Have you ever seen any successful businessman asking people to come learn his business tricks/secrets for free. Please get a else the rot of God will descend on you. I work for a clearing/forwarding company here in Nigeria and i know what is involved in bringing in commodities into Nigeria. most times the freight charges alone is 3x higher than the cost of the item but you lot will claim that things can be imported into Nigeria for free. Be warned and quit misleading and defrauding Nigerians. It is imperative for Nigerians to note that nothing is entirely free, it either involves either a trick or a hidden obligation. afanide: |

You have to check with a computer before the names will be displayed. Click on the name below: https://www.nis.fedcivilservice.gov.ng/#/shortlist You don't have to scroll through the names one by one. Once you type your surname in the search box it will automatically bring up all the surnames together with their particulars. You can also use your first name or NIS application number. Note: don't click on the view application button beneath the search box. Just type either your name or your number and it will automatically populate your result |
