I have been quietly reading the different views of the school of thought on this thread abt the current bear season. we need to inderstand that trading is an individual venture, your decision solely lies on you. The truth is for every market cycle bear or bulls, there is money to be made for the discerning.

Know yourself and the kind of trading outlook that suits you(long, short or medium term). E.g If you have an engaging full time job then jijo is not for you

Know your risk appetite and tolerance, this determines when u hold on or walk away.

Listen to advice weigh it but let the final decision on what to buy, when to buy or sell be yours and yours alone.

As for me, my job hardly gives me time, but been buying 3 stocks since november. have different buy limit orders at different price levels FBNH (between 6.30 and 9.00), dangsugar(between 3.00 and 5.00) transcorp (between 1.50 and 3.00).

During the stock crash in 2008 some became paupers others became millionaires.

Seems both Brewers want to stay independent. There are speculations that AB InBev will launch a take over bid for SAB Miller.

immanuello: I LOVE THIS HOUSE BUT 3.6% i have to pay them as total buy and sell percentage is a thorn in my flesh for a regular trader like.Taking 3.6% out of my 10,15,20% gain is too cocky for me.

3.6 is not bad for medium to longterm.

I currently use IBTC, am aware they are working on a realtime plaform. dont know there timeline though.

Was looking out for a big broker with online realtime market access. will probably go the morgan way for short term positions specifically.
