ottawasenators: @shyee, WES was quite easy for me as long as i was able to do all the ground work to ensure my documents got to them on time.
Their service was quite professional as they responded and provided all information i needed whenever i called or mailed them.
Based on my experience, i can conclusively say that WES is technically the fastest in producing ECA report, with the caveat that you are
able to do all your ground work to ensure your documents are sent from school(Transcript, verification, etc)
Expecting completion of my ECA report by 20th August as seen on my profile, as verification is duly completed. There's something I don't understand about these credentials verification agencies expecially WES, what exactly is the cause of further delay for another 20 days after they've received all documents and verified same to be genuine? They don't have printer or what? It's really crazy. |

efueh: Bros, they are not saying it is a must if other factors are already to your advantage, like age, Msc degree, Canadian work experience/education and a sibling in Canada too. Those numbers are what you need to averagely maximize your IELTS, thus, put your CRS score in a well competitive position. Who says you can't also exceed those numbers? Of course it is doable. If you know you know. Enjoy your Sunday jor! I may have a poor educational background, but I believe at least means the minimum you can have to stand a chance. But this is not the case. Many people would read that and get discouraged thinking that is the absolute minimum. For clarification, minimum IELTS score required for Canada Express Entry is 6 in all skills tested. |

DonTee07: You must start by doing IELTS,aim for @least 8777 in LRWS (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking). evaluate your highest certificate, if you have HND, you will do along with OND through either IQAS, ICES or WES (with WES, u will evaluate ur WAEC also). You are expected to have @least 3years working experience, if you are below, 30 years, you get max. points for age.
Above all, you will need to dedicate a significant amount of your time to reading page 1 and previous parts (1-4). Believe me, you will not regret it but will gain alot of knowledge from reading them. All the best. Please where is this 8777 in LRWS coming from, I keep seeing constant reference to this 'magic' number? Minimum required is CLB 7 which is IELTS 6. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=666&top=29https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/language-requirements/language-testing.html |

Inenghe: why don't you go ahead to apply without her ECA? 449 is good enough na My thought too and the reason I want to know if anyone has successfully invited their spouse and kids after securing a PR and how soon this can be done. |

Lovell234: Judging from the recent draw, 443 can give you and madam ITA Her ECA isn't ready yet but mine is. Thanks anyway. |

Shyee: What's your CRS?
Was in your shoe too, had 462 alone, waiting for spouse's ECA which should drop the score to 444 or so. Ditto: if you enter the pool alone, when you get ITA, you may be surprised your spouse's details may only drop your point, but not below the required minimum point. Thanks for your response. Current score without spouse 448. With spouse 443. My IELTS wasn't that great, maxing out IELTS would change the scores to: 454 without spouse and 449 with spouse. That is my situation. Another major problem is that spouse's ECA isn't ready yet, we're seeing he'll from university. This is why I wanted to apply alone since I have everything set and she doesn't. |

I suppose my first question will be directed more to the Ancestors, the Elders could help too. I have thoroughly read the thread (most of it anyway) since I've been following silently for over a year. Question: Can spouse join me in Canada at a later date of I select "NO" to the question "will spouse accompany you"? Reason for this is to increase my CRS as I stand a greater chance applying alone. |

Finally out of hiding. I'm one of those "guests" on the thread. After reading the contributions of others I feel motivated to also pursue this Canada dream o. Welcome me on board |
