Politics › Re: Biafra News - If Igbo Want To Be President, They Should Join A Political Party" by itsme01: 7:25am On Jan 07, 2020
Mynd44:
The problem is that just like everything, politics evolve. You cannot expect that what happened in 1999 will happen again. If you are waiting for that, you might just seem unserious.

Can the SE with all confidence domain that the APC choose a candidate from the SE knowing fully well that the SE is APC weakest zone? If the APC does not see itself as strong enough in the SE, it makes no sense for anyone to call then out for not having a candidate from there. A scenario of 1999 will be implausible as even if the PDP decides to pick a SE candidate, the SW is not obligated to pick a candidate from where they are weakest

Why isn't anyone dragging the PDP to get a candidate from the SE? At least, the PDP is stronger in the SE than the NE.
Alex Ekueme contested the PDP primaries in Jos and lost(due to Northern supportSW had), so its not like SE stepped down completely, they contest the 2003 primaries also an lost

Nigeria needs to up our defense Budget, criminals on our sea ways and terrorist in the North would skyrocket since we closed our borders and they are hungry, again this renewed crisis in Libya would see many armed militia running down south to further escalate secuirity concern in sub saharan african country and the richest and juiciest target is Nigeria for any criminal

This is exactly the problem.

I hope the army spokesman is not just mouthing off because truth be told, the terrorism fight has weakened our army financially, physically and morally. Only few people want to enlist in the army today unlike yesteryears.

Before these terrorists flee Libya, they would have been recruited, assigned, dispersed or bought over by allied gangs in other countries which Nigeria is one.
for once in a loooong while i agree with you, this means danger for sub saharan secuirity, and Nigeria has alot to loose so most terrorist head to Nigeria with some herds of cows as their passport

It is obvious many Dunce dont understand what the defence minister is saying or the consiquencies of a war in Libya

Libya is directly above us few miles away, any further increase in crisis in libya means the fighers and armed militia would only travel down south as north of their country is mediteranian sea... Nigeria seem to be the terrorist destination because we have money to pay hostage takers

Liars, you can't get those displayed yams in that area obj was digging
Obasanjo produces yam in his farm, even at Bodija market in Ibadan they sell his variety differently as they sell abuja yam, lokoja yam or benue yam

Abuja yam is white and best for pounding yam, Obasanjo's yam is slightly yellowish or greyish but also not bad for pounded yam and eating cooked

Nigerian civil servants are the main crooks that we have, Politicians are just too noisy

N164.500.000 / 4 years = N41,125,000 per year

NN41,125,000 per year / 365 days = N112,671 or $300 Per day

Paying salaries regularly have impacts to the state economy.. Maybe you should ask the market women and men, artisans and the rest. GSM has barely spent 7months in office..
the same way salaries impact the economy , thats the same way basic amenities also affect the economy... so because he paid 7 months salary, shops should burn without Fire Service responding due to lack of equipment.. now which market would the civil servant patronize? the burnt one
