clash of the titans, movie version. in which perseus is the hero, goes on a quest to save andromeda, defeats the kraken and saves the day. Helped by pegasus his flying horse. He also has a lot of adventures before the end of his quest. pandora's box has been posted earlier. |

what advice do you want nlers to give you? ![]() |
some cultures do not support large gatherings, something must happen in such events. if you come from such a culture, what is the reason for it? How do you do your stuff, eg marriage, graduation, etc. Do you nullify the anti-elements in some way and if so, how? if not, what have you noticed are the consequences of going against this cultural taboo. |
clash of the titans first. (the original movie) then pandora's box (the tale). pandora has been posted earlier in the thread. |
whatever pays the bills i should think. |
mbulela: The porousness of our border (if you can call it that) is the worrying part.you've said it all. |

seems, in nigeria, only child is not really in the strictest sense of the word, most nigerians who are only children, have step or half brothers and sisters. |
Danpersie31: pls can i get 2 hear more greek mythology?i am tired of hearing discussions abt d books.pls share d story wit us.graviton and tpia am countin on u guys.dnt fall my handgreek mythology is a very wide subject, i'm not really sure which types of stories you're interested in. however, clash of the titans is generally a good place to start from, its simple, easy to follow and has enough scary parts to keep the plotline going. pandora's box, the kraken, olympus, jason and the argonauts, etc. |
Graviton: keep it coming.which ones do you have in mind? |
not from there but why did you folks split from calabar? you seem more militant than them, could be a wrong impression though. |
you've mentioned various things which to you, are reasons why some unnamed people should call off, or not do, whichever celebration you are talking about. so, sounds like you are the culprit here. your friend went further and included other occasions, etc, in your list. in africa, living to an old age is cause for celebration, thats why you see people celebrating such. Whether they can afford to or not, is another matter, you did not think to make mention of that in your objections, instead you kept rambling vaguely and could not pinpoint what exactly you are trying to say. personally, if something is not my business, i dont carry it on my head. |

BobbyDean: i didnt say they should not 'celebrate' and i didnt say those matter are pressing to me. Imagine spending an awful lot of money on burial ceremony when you have kids & family to cater for. And my post was just an opinion not a decree!if your culture calls for you spending such and such on burials, then you are free to refuse or do so, its your decision. if the people involved know they have kids and family to cater for, what exactly is your own business there? Dont you have your own issues to face? the only reason why i can understand your ameboish rants, is if you say there is a security or ebola problem involved in celebrations. If thats the case, say it out in plain language instead of going on and on about nothing. |
80million1: *speechless*if there's a big gap, the last born tends to have the experiences of an only child. |
it would definitely be too late nowadays. |

manitobor: I am extroverted and will like to have only one child as well.thats unusual, most (nigerian) only children prefer having as many kids as possible i should think, could be wrong. |
nigeria doesnt have a high incidence of only children, not saying they are not many, but as opposed to overseas where people sometimes decide to have only one child, nigerians dont do such unless they're unable to have more. They dont consider it an optional decision. however, when there's a big age gap between kids, it also gives an "only child" effect to the younger one/s. i read that somewhere. |
bro, thread title says NAME, every post I made in connection with the thread title says NAME, i assume your posts are for a different thread? did i at any point make reference to any other context besides THE NAME OF JESUS? |
weird! |
It has laid waste to the tribal chiefdoms of Sierra Leonelord have mercy. |
maybe so, i dont think it matters to the people migrating, or to their countries of destination. |
handsome is as handsome does. however, i think light men are more picky about who they hang out with, ie date. They are more conscious of their public image and more careful about it. Darker guys might not have as many inhibitions. on the height thing, i doubt it really matters so much for a man per se, they would still be in demand in any case, notwithstanding their height. |
priscaoge: The beautiful ones are not yet born Cos the ugly ones refuse to diesir or madam, are you God determining who is ugly and who is beautiful? or who should die and who should live? are you immortal? |
macof: Who? It's u that started talking about idols?? Anyway if I wanted an idol I would choose Jesusyou are very confused. not sure you know the meaning of idol since Jesus is not an inanimate object. |
