easytalkwitbabs: Oh thank you! So, I will only need to tell them that I have been working?

So, what if I am requested to bring proofs like pay-slip or something of that nature?

Thank you!
From personal experience, i will advise you get reference letters from previous and present employers, this will serve as a form of evidence of your long educational gap and also will sum up to your application as the interviewer might not ask you questions on your educational gap and please also write a separate letter stating all of what you have been doing and submit it with your application so as to give the ECO an idea of what you have been doing all the while.

justwise: Then your 28days counting started on the 30th of July because that was the day you have all the money required in your account.

Each time you interrupt the counting by making payment into that account you are restarting the counting.

You only get away with it if you have complete amount of money in that account before making payment
@ justwise, in respect to the above i want to believe withdrawing and depositing of funds during the 28days waiting period has no negative effect on the account as long as the balance never goes below the required maintenance money or expected money in the acct.

TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by Itstyme(m): 9:48pm On Jul 31, 2014
agates: I wrote a letter explaining the error and attached his birth certificate and data page of his passport to prove this. I didn't write anything about my employment history since there was no question regarding that on the form. I suppose you can write it on the additional information space provided tho. But not quite sure if it's necessary.
Thank you I will do just that regards the error. The employment history question was asked based on educational gap. Does it mean u didnt submit any docs relating to ur work history to proof u have been working truly like reference letters from past n present employers?

spikesC: That's good.
I still dey wait oo

I sent teleperformance an email today but they havn't replied. Right now am beginning to regret submitting at their center
Hmm! I can imagine how u feel but I want to believe it will be out in no time. I don't know if they still call applicants via the phone. Were u called at all after the interview? They used to do this years back

spikesC: i used waec.

I have applied, waiting for them now cool
Hi SpikesC, i have been able to pay for the app online using the same card that got declined initially. Though I had to create a new application and had all info of the card correct this time. Thanks for your help I appreciate. Any update on ur application yet?
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by Itstyme(m): 5:25pm On Jul 29, 2014
spikesC: Ahhh, that's weird. Maybe you should create another application and pay for that one or you contact them and tell them of the error
Very weird and frustrating I must confess going through filling the application ll overagain is one big deal but seems that is the only way out now. Thanks for your time n concern. I appreciate
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by Itstyme(m): 2:54pm On Jul 29, 2014
spikesC: There must be.
When you go to the first page to make payment, you'll have the option of mastercard, visa, payga etc. cool
Did you see the error message content I sent in the previous post. The problem I am now facing is that, It wont even go through when I click on "make payment" to contact worldpay i.e to bring the options of the payment to choose. All it brings is the error page for over 3 days now.

spikesC: Then just pay through payga. It uses bank gateways so it would definitely work. It will just cost a bit more
Brother! If I had the option I would have. Nothing like that on my page here as a payment option
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by Itstyme(m): 5:57pm On Jul 28, 2014
spikesC: login to ur ebanking platform, by the left hand side, click on activation code, input the generated token number and submit, copy out the generated activation code out.

Go to the mastercard securecode website. the link is on the page where you got the activation code.

Input your mastercard details and submit, if it goes through, continue with the registration, if it doesnt, notify me of what exactly it said.
If it goes through and you registered successfully, remember to copy out your securecode, it is like a password which you will be told to chose. Then notify me afterwards
Thanks for your concern. I have done this steps several times, generated the activation code but it wont just go through after inputting the required details to generate the secure code. I contacted the bank and they claimed my card has been unblocked so I wonder why it is still not going through. Have been on this for 4 days now. Tired!!!

spikesC: Which bank is this?
GTBank
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by Itstyme(m): 4:49pm On Jul 28, 2014
spikesC: You chosed mastercard right?
And it asked you for secure code right?
And you didnt know what it is, but you were inputing something there right?
And you did these for the 2 cards right?

Well, the cards has been blocked. You won't even be able to use it again, not even in an ATM.

Get a new card from your bank.
If you do ebanking and have a token, then you can use mastercard gateway else you'll have to use payga

When you get a new card and ready to make payment, notify me here so i would walk you through.
Thanks Mate for your response but I can still use the cards on other merchant sites and atm inclusive. I just cant use it for the Uk visa application payment anymore. Yes, I did input the wrong secure code on the first card but not on the second card but got declined and blocked still. I am not given any other payment option aside this, so can you please explain the mastercard gateway. I have ebanking. Thanks
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by Itstyme(m): 4:19pm On Jul 28, 2014
spikesC: whats the error report?
which gateway did you select?
I tried using the two different mastercards I have since the only option of payment given is online but it gets to block these cards despite having input the correct information and at the end it says I can't use those cards on the site anymore and I should use.

Now all I even get is the stated error below;

"Secure Payment Page

Itstyme: The gap between my last educational qualification and now is approximately 10 years but all through these years I have been working till date. Do I need to attach evidence of my previous and present employment in my application to show and support the claim I have been work all these while? Secondly, this question might sound stupid but I just want a clarification so I don't have the wrong input; is the "Issuing authority and place of Issue" of the Nigerian passport same and if not can anyone please state the difference as stated in the online form. Thanks

DonOms: Since you asked for advice, that's what you will get: Tell the truth this time and forget about your former lie. My reason?
1) Very most likely, UKBA MAY not consider your married status as told to the US embassy.
2) Even if they do consider it, you are going as a student into the UK and it MAY not really matter much as long as you're not declaring a 'wife' as dependant.
3) Keeping up with the lie will further complicate matter for you (Two countries will believe you're married instead of one) and may cause future problems.
4) Honesty is the best policy. ..........After all, you didn't get the visa the last time when you lied.

All the best bro.
Thank you so much. I will do just that.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by Itstyme(m): 9:39am On Jul 06, 2014
Itstyme: Pls guys, I need your candid advise on this issue that has been a bother to me. I applied for a US business visa July 2013 but I was denied and am about to submit a Tier 4 UK visa application. In my US visa application, I claimed I was married but in reality I am not. Would u advise I remain with the "married" status or i declare my real marital status "fiancee/proposed civil partner"? Am just curious as I feel this might pose a threat under my past visa application history irrespective of the difference in countries. Pls advise
NB: I have a "proposed civil partner/fiancee more like traditionally married but not legally married. Please guys I need your kind responses .

blink6: thanks man. I called them already... it undergraduate program that am going for... Am applying as a high skool leaver(never attended a higher institution).

so, nothing else is required of me... just my waec details and a scratch card(pin n serial).
Okay! If you have contacted them and that's all they require from you, then you are fine. Feel free to ask further questions.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 5 by Itstyme(m): 6:45pm On Jan 08, 2014
blink6:
how do I get uni results when am just an undergraduate?
I am not going for a postgrad program o!

so, was you asked to forward a waec scratch card and ur exam details?

concerning the app fee, it $129... stated clearly on their app page.
If you have ever being to any polytechnic or any other higher institution even if its just a year, I think you will be fine but I will advise you still write Brandon on this. I gave you an advise based on my own experience with them. You might have a fair chance. Yes you need to include the waec scratch card.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 5 by Itstyme(m): 5:18pm On Jan 07, 2014
blink6: I had to mail them(brandon) regarding this ish. I intend applying this week, but I am confused...because their app fee is not refundable and I am gonna use a Gce result (no transcript) . I am going for an undergraduate degree btw.

I am still waiting on them for reply. so, if anyone here knows the answer, abeg answer.
How much was it u paid(in naira)?
Bruh! Brandon might not grant u admission based on your O'Levels qualification alone talk less of you submitting without a transcript. I applied with my waec and neco results initially but denied me and gave an option to submit at least a one year tertiary education transcript and result which I submitted my OND results and transcripts. Got my admission after 1 month. Application fee is $127 and its nonrefundable.
