Petitediva14:
I recently tried to link some of my bank cards to my paypal account and none was accepted.

I tried UBA, GTB and FBN. Which bank's card is accepted?

Thanks.
There's nothing wrong with your card, PayPal except all cards been it VISA or Master.
Before your card can be used or link there's a 1$ debit PayPal will initiate and credit it back after you verified the remark. This tiny deductible is in dollars and reason why you are not successful is what I briefly explain below.

There's a global threshold on all Naira Debit/Credit card for online transactions. Once the global amount is attained, you will not be able to pay for goods or services in dollars online.
However, a global reset occurs every 12am midnight. If u can wake up by 11:50pm or less, initiate transaction and click on pay by 12am dot, you will be successful.
Note that anything above 12:05am the limit will be exhausted as thousands of people worldwide are carrying Nigeria Naira Debit/Credit card for foreign ATM, POS and online dollar transaction.

Good luck.

I Will Expose Your Role In Chibok Girls Kidnapping, Alhassan Threatens Elrufai

https://scannewsnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/elrufai-615x330.jpg

The embattled Minister of Women Affairs, Amina Alhassan has threatened to expose Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir Elrufai and his role in Chibok girls kidnapping.

The Minister said she was surprised that a dirty character like Elrufai could even have the gut to comment against her preference for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for 2019 Presidential race.

She said, there are lot of things Nigerians needs to know about the planning and execution of Chibok girl kidnapping because those behind it will be unmasked very soon. The intention was very obvious, to defame and blackmail PDP and Jonathan out of power.

The Minister became angry by the comment credited to Elrufai where he was quoted as saying that Buhari was severely warned not to appoint Amina Alhassan as Minister.

Mallam Elrufai said Amina Alhassan’s leaved Video, an indication that she has never been loyal to President Buhari from day one, noting that her loyalty lies with someone who is not even ready to support the party to success just because the person also want to become a president

In her response, Amina said those who know history well could tell about the treacherous nature of Elrufai who can go to any length to stab anyone just to rise politically, she said Elrufai was a nobody who was as poor as church rat if not for Atiku that brought him to political relevance.

The same Elrufai was among those who plotted against Jonathan by tactically supporting Boko Haram and Kidnapping of Chibok girls, the information is out there where he lied that Jonathan wanted to kill him and other top members of APC by raising a false alarm about sniper list. No sane Nigerians will take Elrufai serious because he is an unrepentant addicted liar.

The same Elrufai who claimed to be loyal to president is sponsoring some bloggers and his errand boys in the media to keep attacking and defaming Buhari, at least Nigerians and our party can see his deliberate action to blackmail the President when he released his memo to the media which was supposed to be a confidential memo to the President in his bid to tarnish and embarrass Baba Buhari.

I am not a coward, Buhari is my President and one of the fathers of my party APC, if I can’t be real with my choice of Atiku, then it would amount to eye service, I am not that kind of person.

Former President Obasanjo through his book “My Watch” gave a valid description of who the midget Elrufai is, he thrives on stabbing the hands that fed him just to rise politically, he can lie and kill so far he will rise in his political career not minding the pain he is inflicting on others, one of such is his supervision of mass killing and hurriedly burying of over 1,000 Shiites killed in Kaduna.

I will personally meet with President Buhari and explain myself to him, I am not afraid of anybody in the party, after all I am a politician, for those who have gone ahead to plant a corruption story about me in the media, you are just wasting your time she added.

FamilyOur Wives Beat Us - 55 Lagos Husbands Cries For Help by Itulah(op): 4:38pm On Sep 06, 2017

About 55 husbands in Lagos have reported how their wives battered them

- Adeniji Kazeem, the Lagos state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice revealed that more men were now coming forward to report cases of domestic violence against them

- He announced that Governor Ambode, has made provision to provide empowerment designed for survivors of domestic violence

In the last eight months, a total of 55 husbands reported how their wives battered them to the Lagos State Government in renewed cases of domestic violence in the state.

Adeniji Kazeem, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Lagos state, at a media briefing in Ikeja, on Tuesday, September 5, revealed that more men were now coming forward to report cases of violence against them by their women.

He noted: “There had been 55 cases of men reporting domestic violence against them by their wives between January 2017 and now as against 14 that was recorded last year. Between January and September 2017, a total of 852 cases of domestic violence and related cases were recorded in Lagos State. "

He also said that the data revealed that most of s*xual assault cases were perpetrated in the afternoon during weekdays, while corroborating that the victims knew 95 per cent of the perpetrators of sexual violence.

This alarming discovery he said necessitated the need to embark on sensitisation campaigns for parents on parenting skills, child abuse prevention tips , training for children on child’s rights, child abuse, safety and how to preserve evidence.

He also announced that the Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has approved the establishment of the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Fund to amongst other things, provide empowerment designed specifically for survivors of domestic violence.

While some of the cases have been charged to court, Mr. Kazeem said the State Government through the Ministry of Youth and Social Development and other stakeholders have provided shelter for the survivors.

Aside that, the commissioner said all the survivors of sexual assault received medical attention from comprehensive Primary Health Care Centres and referral centres, among other efforts to properly rehabilitate and re-integrate them into the society.

PoliticsOPINION: Nnamdi Kanu Is Ahmadu Bello In Hausa, And Ahmadu Bello Is Nnamdi Kanu.. by Itulah(op): 5:35pm On Sep 04, 2017
OPINION: Nnamdi Kanu is Ahmadu Bello in Hausa, and Ahmadu Bello is Nnamdi Kanu in Igbo - Amaso Jack

Editor's note: A member of the faculty of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Mr Amaso Jack writes on the controversy surrounding the activities of the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Baifra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Read below:

I firmly believe another civil war can be averted and indeed avoided if not prevented or perhaps prevented, indeed avoided and if not averted!

The choice between war and peace lies more in our actions than our words! ask "FIRE AND FURY" Donald Trump and his opponent, Kim Jong-un. Kim has taken the initiative, by the action of firing a medium range missile across Hokkaido, Japan.....that action 'more than a thousand words' was an act of war, he is the aggressor!

From a strict analytic point of view, that missile's trajectory over Japan was the declaration of war!

However, the best way to enforce peace, is to identify the causes of war and eliminating them, before they eliminate peace!

What then are the causes of war?

(For when the cause is known it can be avoided).

The respected historian, John G. Stoessinger in the fourth edition of his 1985, St. Martin's book titled:

"WHY NATIONS GO TO WAR", advances four major reasons that were applicable to Ironsi on the eve of the Nigerian civil war, and are applicable to Buhari, as the nation's under him embarks on a perilous slide towards an absymal implosion. John wrote on the 210th page:

1. "A leader's misperception of his adversary's power is perhaps the quintessential cause of war. It is vital to remember, however, that it is not the actual distribution of power that precipitates a war; it is the way in which a leader thinks that power is distributed."

ANALYSIS:

Nzeogwu had a mis-perception of those he killed, and those he intended to kill, most of whom were not killed.

D. J. M. Muffett on the 35th page of his 1982 Hudahuda published book, titled:

"LET TRUTH BE TOLD, THE COUPS D'ETAT OF 1966", recorded this encounter between Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu and Major Hassan Usman Katsina, about those he actually killed, at "H" hour on "grin" day, this way:

“Chukwuma was all bloodied up, very excited. He pointed a sub-machine gun at me and said 'Hassan! Are you with us? I said 'come on Chukwuma! What do you mean? ' He said 'Today the Nigerian Army has taken over the government of the country, I have killed Ademulegun, I have killed Shodiende, I have also killed the Sardauna.' I said 'Kaduna, you are in blood! Go and see a doctor.”

On the 35th and 43rd page of the same book, Muffett, provided this information about those who were to be killed; the source was the governor of the north, Sir Kashim Ibrahim:

“From the Recce Sqn. lines, Nzeogwu went back to Brigade Headquarters, where Sir Kashim Ibrahim had been taken. 'We were there some time under guard, until Nzeogwu arrived. He came up to me and said 'I am sorry, sir, this is a mistake; we do not want people like you! The only people we want to kill are Azikiwe, Ahmadu Bello, Akintola, Okpara, Okotie-Eboh and Orizu.'”

The writer then added:

“First, there is a statement that Nzeogwu made to the governor, Sir Kashim Ibrahim. He listed Azikiwe, Okpara and Orizu. None of them was killed. He did not list Sir Abubakar. He was murdered, only very tardily. Sir Kashim stated that it puzzled him as to why Nzeogwu listed Azikiwe, but he did.'”

Ironsi had a mis-perception of those officers and subalterns from the north who demanded "SOCIAL JUSTICE" by the trial of Nzeogwu and his team for their role in the coup, which Ironsi didn't undertake, that eventually led to the counter coup.

In the British army, subaltern is a collective word for junior army officers between the ranks of second lieutenant and lieutenant. By a strange twist, President Buhari was one of the subalterns Ironsi had a misconception about, just the way he Buhari now in Ironsi's shoes has a mis-perception about Nnamdi Kanu who now wears the 1966 shoes, he wore under Ironsi, and like his 1966 boss, he is heading in the direction of war.

Stoessinger's second point (still on the 210th page of his book) is:

2. “A war will start when nations disagree over their perceived strength.”

ANALYSIS: A Nation

“A large body of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language, inhabiting a particular state or territory.”

ANALYSIS OF THE ANALYSIS:

- From a strict political scientific perspective, as provided by Oxford dictionary, the Igbo in a totally different ethnic nationality from the Hausa and Fulani.

-There is no such thing as Hausa-Fulani, the Fulani conquered the Hausa.

The Editors of Encyclopedia Britannica captured the facts this way:

“In the 1790s a Fulani divine, Usman dan Fodio (1754–1817), who lived in the northern Hausa state of Gobir (northeast of Sokoto) quarreled with its rulers. Accusing the Hausa kings of being little more than pagans, he encouraged the Hausa people to revolt. Joined both by Hausa commoners and by Fulani pastoralists alike, the jihad, or holy war , swept through Hausaland.”

Stoessinger's third point, on the 218th page is:

3. “If the world's poor and Hungary remain unable to persuade the world's rich to share their wealth more equitably, then violence becomes an increasingly probably scenario. Hence, as the twentieth-century draws to a close, wars may erupt in the cracks of the state system as easily as among sovereign states themselves.”

ANALYSIS:

.....Buhari's red line of nepotism.

The strategic question is:

Does President Buhari hate the Igbo?

Sir Ahmadu Bello was the human symbolic representation of a vested interest. His assassination was a threat to the interest he represented and by extension, a declaration of war!

When the interest he represented responded, the pogrom was defined and the civil war happened!

Nnamdi Kanu is the symbolic representation of another interest!

The steps of Buhari's administration with respect to the man, (considering the double standards with respect to no action against Arewa youths who asked the Igbo nation to vacate the north, as Buhari was preparing to re-arrest him.)

This is the replay of the sectional script of Nzeogwu, commanders in Lagos, and the East..... and that with morbid of consequences.

Ironsi (the film censor) did not censor Nzeogwu's horror movie by bringing him to justice, this led to horro movie premiere called the pogrom, that led to the three year long horror movie, (the main Nigerian strategist in the war, Brigadier-General Godwin Alabi-Isama; the unsung hero of the conflict, would call it The Nigeria-Biafra War!

President Buhari the new movie board censor, has refused to censor the contemporary première of the killer herdsmen, like Ironsi before him. By his refusal to prosecute them for their war of attrition for coercion, their première called the pogrom is heading in the direction of war.

.......Nnamdi Kanu is Ahmadu Bello in Hausa, and Ahmadu Bello is Nnamdi Kanu in Igbo!

When the symbol of an interest is killed, or an interest compromised by force of arms, or a monarch or festival decimated, war has been declared in principle, but the formal declaration is the commencement of the practice of war.

Certain individuals are symbolic custodians of interest, eliminating them is a strategic threat to the interest they represent, and by the action....a declaration of war is inevitable, because the bond between person and interest, can be defined in German word NIBELUNGENTREUE!

From the strategic point of view, a war is declared (amongst other conditions) when an individual who is the symbol, custodian or face of a national, political, economic, geopolitical, political economic interest is eliminated, often not always to the ''threat risk'' of the interests he represents or is a symbol of. That was what Ahmadu Bello, that seems imminent with Nnamdi Kanu under Buhari.

Nnamdi Kanu is indeed Ahmadu Bello in Hausa, and Ahmadu Bello is Nnamdi Kanu in Igbo...both mean NIBELUNGENTREUE!

Foreign AffairsBlack Caucus Has Had It With Trump, Commences Talk On Impeachment Plans by Itulah(op): 9:19am On Aug 22, 2017
www.nairaland.com/attachments/5851768_aaquoxj_jpeg8d2244f27904ba0278cc742bdcaa3e45
WASHINGTON — The Congressional Black Caucus, a formidable bloc of lawmakers with a big say in the fate of President Donald Trump and his legislation, Monday sent him a terse, clear message: We don’t think you understand us at all.

The caucus’ chairman Monday urged cancellation of next month’s highly anticipated meeting between White House officials and leaders of the nation’s historically black colleges. And he plans to have the 49-member caucus meet when Congress returns in two weeks to discuss whether to back Democratic-led efforts to impeach Trump.

Rep. Cedric Richmond, D-La., the caucus chairman, said the president’s remarks after the deadly Aug. 12 protest in Charlottesville show he has no commitment to the schools or the African American community.

Richmond said the caucus was outraged by Trump’s assertion of “blame on both sides” for the violent rally dominated by neo-Nazis and white supremacists.

“You can make an argument based on pure competency and fitness to serve, and that’s the conversation the caucus will have,” Richmond told reporters in a conference call Monday. The caucus includes 46 House Democrats, Democratic Sens. Kamala Harris of California and Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, and Republican Rep. Mia Love of Utah.

“Am I concerned about high crimes and misdemeanors?” Richmond asked. “Absolutely. Am I concerned about this president’s fitness to serve? Absolutely.”

Republicans control 52 of the Senate’s 100 seats, and 240 of the House’s 435 seats, and there’s been no GOP talk of impeachment.

Trump has received heavy criticism both inside and outside of government for not forcefully condemning neo-Nazis and white supremacists in the immediate aftermath of the violence in Charlottesville.

He disbanded two business advisory panels after several of its members, CEOs of top American companies, quit the panels resigned because of Trump’s response to the Charlottesville protest.

Richmond said what does not need to wait for a group discussion is Trump scrap a National HBCU Week Conference that administration officials planned for Sept. 17 to 19 in Washington.

The event is scheduled as a follow-up of sorts to Trump’s HBCU Initiative, a plan he announced with great fanfare in February.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

Trump signed an executive order for the initiative with more than six dozen black college presidents surrounding him. Its chief aim was to move responsibilities for HBCUs out of the Department of Education and into the White House with an executive director in charge.

Six months later, most of the HBCU portfolio remains in the Education Department and an executive director has not been named.

“Not only do I think it should be postponed, it shouldn’t have been happening in the first place,” Richmond said. “This White House isn’t serious about improving our HBCUs. They brought all those HBCU presidents to town, they took a picture in the Oval Office, and then they did nothing.”

Rep. Alma Adams, D-N.C., was the first lawmaker to call for next month’s meeting to be postponed.

She said last week that because of Trump’s handling of the events in Charlottesville and “zero progress on any of (the HBCUs’) priorities, it would be highly unproductive to ask HBCU presidents to come back to Washington.”

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund, an HBCU advocacy group that has been supportive of Trump’s outreach toward the schools, agreed.

“There is pretty strong consensus that the White House should consider postponing” next month’s meeting, Marshall College Fund President and CEO Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., wrote in a letter Friday to Omarosa Manigault-Newman, director for communications for the White House’s Office of Public Liaison.

Taylor said the ability of HBCU leaders to engage with representatives from federal agencies could be “overshadowed” by “concerns related to recent national events, ultimately making the conference counterproductive.”

Richmond criticized Manigault-Newman, questioning the value of dealing with the former reality television show celebrity who has served as Trump’s liaison to the African-American community since the 2016 presidential campaign.

“Omarosa is still pretending to have influence with this president,” he said. “I’m just surprised that she’s there as an African-American woman after his latest comments.”

Richmond’s comment reflects the terse relationship between the CBC and Trump. The caucus met with Trump in March. Afterward, Richmond said the CBC and the president shared similar goals but strongly disagreed on “the route to get there.”

The caucus rejected an invitation by Manigault-Newman for a follow-up meeting with Trump in June because “we have seen no evidence that your administration acted on our calls for action, and we have in fact witnessed steps that will affirmatively hurt black communities,” Richmond wrote in a letter.

At least three CBC members, Reps. Al Green, D-Texas., Maxine Waters, D-Calif., and Gwen Moore, D-Wis., have called for Trump’s impeachment.

Green said in June that Trump obstructed justice when he fired former FBI Director James Comey, who was investigating alleged Russian meddling in last year’s election. Moore last week cited Trump’s response to Charlottesville as proof he’s unfit for the Oval Office.

“For the sake of the soul of our country,” we must come together to restore our national dignity that has been robbed by Donald Trump’s presence in the White House,” she said last week. “My Republican friends, I implore you to work with us within our capacity as elected officials to remove this man as our commander-in-chief and help us move forward from this dark period in our nation’s history.”

PoliticsPalpable Anxiety Hit APC Over Kwankwaso Rumoured Defection by Itulah(op): 6:46pm On Aug 16, 2017
There had been rumour that Rabiu Kwankwaso has returned to PDP - Kwankwaso is reportedly one of the top northern leaders eyeing the presidency in 2019 - The news of his alleged defection is causing some fear in the All Progressives Congress.
There is palpable anxiety in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) following the rumoured defection of Rabiu Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano state, to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). It was learnt that the PDP had been speaking with Kwankwaso to return to its fold and were anxiously waiting for his next move. The Nation reports that Kwankwaso confirmed on Tuesday that he was still in the APC.

The report quoted top sources in the APC as getting uncomfortable as the rumour spread that he had moved to the PDP. It quoted an APC leader as saying: “We were all shocked by the news of Kwankwaso’s exit from APC because Kano State was strategic to our victory in 2015. “We have not been able to get in touch with the ex-governor, but we have doubts on the veracity of the news in some media. “We know that Kwankwaso is a straightforward politician, he does not take action through the backdoor. “We are however trying to establish contact with him to know the truth.”
The source added: “The party is no doubt aware of a disagreement between the ex-governor and some APC leaders, especially his successor, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje. “The leadership of APC has been doing its best to resolve the intra-party crisis. And in fairness, Kwankwaso has been cooperating with the party.” The report also quoted a member of the National Working Committee (NWC) of APC as saying: “We have been receiving enquiries from our leaders on Kwankwa.

“We believe that some elements somewhere were flying a kite to create a crisis in our party. We suspect desperation on the part of some PDP elements. “We don’t know why the opposition is interested in defection of APC leaders. Are they short of credible leaders and trying to poach some in APC?”
It was reported that the 2019 presidential election will definitely be more of a battle among brothers as a third northern group emerged recently and declared support for Senator Rabiu Kwakwanso, former governor of Kano state. The group spoke out just days after two other groups made their declarations, one for President Muhammadu Buhari and the other for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. Ahead of the 2019 election, campaign posters of President Muhammadu Buhari have flooded some states.
