Dear lettered Nigerian, nobody said marijuana is not generating income cos it is, even in Nigeria.
The point is a country like Nigeria lacks the proper orientation of use of the commodity, we also lack necessary resources to monitor and control crime that potentially may arise from legalising it, there is no standard health service ( Rehabs, psychiatric hospitals) in place for users that potentially will be affected.
Until we are able to do these things, marijuana will not be legalised. And if your still not convinced, go and call police!

Currently marijuana is illegal in Nigeria, are u telling me if you wanted any quantity right now you won’t get even from the NDLEA. So dealing with marijuana is a war that can never be won might as well start making money from it.
If only you know how much are being burned per year by the NDLEA, and still it’s everywhere.

The likes of sowore and Durotoye coming out to contest the presidency is a good indication that the youths will eventually take the wheels of this country from the Ancestors ruling us like its their birth right.
However, none of these young aspirants have what it takes to get this nation back on its feet at the moment.
Imagine sowore telling us he will legalise marijuana use to generate income , that is a catastrophic move in a fragile country like ours, things will definitely go out of control, legalising marijuana use is not the solution to our problems, it will only add more. A wise man once said insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. I just went on a Sowore marathon watching his rally and interviews.

And i am worried and concerned why this man is not on every youth lips.

We can’t keep changing oppressors every four four years. Repeat play repeat play and expect a different result. Our current president is not eloquent enough, he never does any media interview, you can barely understand him anyway. But to have Ghost President who doesn’t even address sensitive issues about his nation is a slap in our faces, how long can we continue to live like this.

I’m sure Atiku can borrow the same manifesto Obasanjo used in 1999 because there is hardly anything that has fully accomplished since then.

You might say what experience does he have to become a president why not start from somewhere. And I will answer that with two examples. Nelson Mandela was an activist before he went to prison and came back
to become president of South Africa he had prior experience in any political office I think the rest his history. Second example Barack Obama, he was regarded as a community organiser though he was a senator for 6 months. He stabilised America not because he was a former senator but because he was a man of character. And if experience matter so much Obasanjo and Buhari were both head of state in 1976 and 1983 respectively. And I’m sure how we all know how it went when they became the president, so much for their experience.

The problem of Nigeria is at the top and that is where we should send some with brand new ideals too.

It’s really mind boggling that there are some youth who still believe this old heads with analog thinking.

We need a young man with fresh and innovative ideas, enough of this old heads who do not have our best interest at heart.

I urge you all you google and read about his promises for Nigeria and how he intends to implement them, so that this post won’t be to long for you to read.

And if any of you still think this old dinosaur are the best for the job then so be it however any hardship, suffering and misery inflicted on your life would be very well deserved.

A. For 16 years Nigeria’s budget was less than 4 trillion while crude sold at close to n over $100. Last year Buhari’s budget was 9 trillion while crude sold below $40. What does this tell you ?

PDP looting Nigeria under the table, accountants will explain that to you. Revenue never budgeted will never be accounted for, this implies PDP have always looted more than half of the national budget because it was never recorded or accounted for.

B. Buhari in less than 4 commissioned airport terminal in Abuja & PH, railway springing up here n there Ajaokuta rail Abuja rail Lagos etc. Now PDP claim he initiated all this but my reply the only airport terminal I am aware PDP initiated n commissioned in it 16 years of locust is the Owerri airport Stella Oduah upgrade to water n seaport.

We can all argue from now till tomorrow but what remarkable project did PDP initiate n complete in 16 years ? Pls name just one in 16 years. It was even Buhari that had to rebuild airport runway in Kaduna n Abuja in record time. PDP left Nigeria to rot away while it looted our destiny.

C. Buhari is not good he as destroyed the economy of Nigeria but I am yet to see a president that gave out loans to state governors in Nigeria right from 1960 till now. This Buhari inherited a govt that had to borrow money to pay federal civil service though the previous govt sold crude for over $100 while crude sold for around $40 when Buhari paid the salaries Jonathan was owing and also gave out bailout loans to states.

That tells you the magnitude of looting going on under the PDP, instead of Ebele to stop the looting by PDP n pay civil servants he simply watched helplessly as the treasury was plundered.

D. The reasons are endless but this will do for now

With what you have written, one thing I can pick out is that both apc and pdp have failed, why don’t we give a young guy with fresh ideas a chance.

It should not be about age but about merit.

Some of the younger people in the present and in past regimes have performed woefully and have been found to be part of the looting.

So, apart from age, Sowore and others should say why they must earn the votes.
