Christianity EtcRe: Can A Nigerian Pastor Preach Without These Words??? by itzokay: 12:51pm On Jul 01, 2018
Giving, tithes and offerings are part of biblical teachings but this days they are now used as substitute for "salvation". As if you're saved by giving. We are saved by Grace not by our shitty offerings, and those offerings are not tickets to heaven. The earlier they know the better, there is a difference between a good man and a godly man

As a child I bedwet usually frequently until I was in ss3 after I left secondary school, I stayed at home for a year and during that period I didn't pee up to five times... I actually forgot that I bedwet. Now since my 100 level in university I never bedwet but now I'm in 200 level. I just dozed off on my roommates bed around 11 AM in the morning and bedwet his bed. I just don't know what's wrong with me. I didn't have a deep sleep, it was just a nap.

PLEASE IM IN THE UNIVERSITY I NEED HELP
When I say trust me I feel your plight, then trust me I feel your plight bro. I too bed wetted for a long time, till a gud part of my teenage.. lol Ok, first, I don't think anything is wrong with you, so don't beat yourself over it.
You just have to learn to take less water from past 6pm.
Ensure you "dry drain" your bladder before bed time.
Try to wake up to pee at intervals during your sleep time.
And funny as it may sound if you find yourself weeing in your dream wake up asap bro, you doing it real time.
With these few practices I'm sure you'd see some improvements. I think it naturally stops don't let nobody fool you into taking some concoctions or doing some rituals to make it stop. If you keep practicing like I showed you to, overtime my bro you would improve. Cheers and best of lucks.
Christianity EtcRe: Of Church Instrumentalists And Payments by itzokay: 11:26am On Jun 24, 2018

There should be a kind of welfare package for them. If it's not a regular salary, then the pastor in charge must make sure he meets with them regularly and discusses their financial and spiritual welfare too. Because, Not only must they be around on Sundays, they must also be around probably on weekday fellowships and for Choir practice. And in some cases during Marriages, Crusades or any other church activity outside the regular ones. And besides they have to update their skills and learn new songs.
They are skilled workers and have to be paid in one way or the other in other to keep them going on strong and happily. It's like arguing that the church security men should not be paid because they are fellow church members.
Well said. I think its Ok that they be supported in terms of welfare, I mean for those who are struggling; just to encourage them. It shouldn't be a payment for services rendered, as whatever you do, u do for the Lord and shouldn't be paid for serving God. Not only musicians though, all those serving the Lord who are in distress should be encouraged by the church and its members. Its not easy serving God when finance is low, temptations build up.
