Just imagine 2 government agencies. I am confused because there are policemen inside and policemen outside. Which of them is protecting the right thing?
Can the government actually operate these refineries or not? Atiku in one of his campaign interviews, held a very strong view about selling off the refineries. But people were furious not because it was a bad idea but because they were not sure where the money will go.
No it's not. You should have asked, "how profitable is this business?" The companies behind these products have set up the profit line for distributors down to retailers. Ask a woman who sells near a residential area, park or school how many cartons she sells in a day when people are setting up their children for school. Gala, biscuits etc, etc. People on the road who cannot the time to stop at a restaurant. Those behind the chain of gala sellers in traffic. Omo relax o. No enter business wey you no understand. That my advise.
Celebrating 2 helicopters. Countries manufacturing dozens will be amused. Nigeria is an example of money-miss-road. We should have been selling top technology by now only if we were on the right leadership path from 40 years ago.
In Nigeria see them handling the raw meat with bare hands.
Infoguy666: An Air Peace aircraft was forced to halt operations after it collided with an antelope while taxiing on the runway of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, according to a footage obtained by News360 Nigeria
The incident, which resulted in the animal being crushed, left the aircraft classified as Aircraft on Ground (AOG) and caused disruptions to the airline’s scheduled flights.
Confirming the occurrence, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) said through its Director of Public Affairs & Consumer Protection, Mr. Michael Achimugu, that such unexpected events are part of the operational challenges that sometimes lead to flight delays.
Posting on X (formerly Twitter), Achimugu explained, “Monitoring reports yesterday indicated that an Air Peace aircraft ran into a large antelope, decimating the animal and leaving the aircraft on ground.
As a result, flights meant to be operated by this aircraft would naturally be disrupted, even though engineers are on the ground to assess and fix the plane. Passengers waiting would naturally be infuriated.”
He added that while the incident was beyond Air Peace’s control, the airline is still responsible for promptly informing passengers, issuing refunds when necessary, and providing care.
He warned that the NCAA would sanction the airline if it failed to meet its obligations.
A source close to Air Peace, while speaking with News360 Nigeria, clarified that the incident happened during landing and was immediately handled in line with aviation procedures.
“It happened upon landing. As an aviation procedure, the aircraft has been checked and fixed. It was not a big issue,” the source noted.
In the meantime, the NCAA has assured travelers of safety at the Abuja airport and promised to investigate how the animal found its way onto the runway, with a view to preventing a recurrence.
At this time, leather meant a thick material from animal dried treated skin. Hence the saying, "Khaki no be leather". Today leather is produced from artificial materials.
Continuing to close doors just like Buhari. President Tinibu rushed back to Nigeria after 18days to meet behind closed doors with security chiefs after hundreds have been killed by criminals and thousands displaced. Maybe he was expecting the security chiefs to wait for his orders before doing their job.
This is the first public infrastructure rejected and neglected by Nigerian leaders before railway travel, electricity, then schools and hospitals followed before many more. Nigerian youth only know borehole and plastic tanks for water. Even the youth too have been neglected.
There are a few people here who have never run a business before. There is a solution to every problem especially when you make a complaint. The last straw is refind, rebate, next time discount, or any other palliative that would show the business hopes you can have a better stay if you come again. There are also customers who complain over nothing. The light goes out and it takes 2 mins to change over, they complain. The hot water isn't hot enough, instead of wait they raze the roof. But anyhow, you should check your rooms before your guest departure to avoid unnecessary and avoidable losses.
LocalFARMERS: Went to drink last night. Bought a large peppered chicken wing for 2,500. When it was sliced to smaller pieces, I realised the meat is good for that price.
Was he asked to kneel down, or he knelt to get pardon for doing wrong? Even at that the LGI official should insist he should stand if he did not steal.
Are the electricity workers armed? I saw a cleaner running for safety. Perhaps they were looking for the ogas Everyone dey vex dor this country. As I'm typing, I don't have light. Sometimes I feel I had a gun to show my anger at their office or one of their vehicles. Why can't we have constant electricity supply in this country? Someone should please explain to it me.
