Sonofgod1990:How does your comment make the robot less impressive or a successful attempt? A 5 year old as you say in the USA will have to be taught, he also learned and put it to practice. A 5 year old in the USA will need assistance, perhaps this man was assisted or he did it alone. The fact remains that he has put up something that you and I may take for granted but like a phone, there is a lot that goes on between software and hardware. Talkless of voice recognition and command. |
So they are keeping guns just in case they need to kill. |
In Nigeria it's not good to steal chickens, you will be treated like a chicken. If you steal billions and are smart to cover your tracks, you be treated like a prince. ![]() |
Is the uniform the problem of the NYSC? I think what we should be brainstorming should be 1. Redefining the aims and objectives of the program 2. Method of deployment and duration of service. 3.Benefits of the program to the corps member and the society/ nation in the short and long term. For me the NYSC program should be a stepping stone to engagement in all spheres of human endeavor. Finance, manufacturing, energy, medical, legal, infrastructure, science and tech, government, etc etc. Public, private and government entities should be engaged to conduct exercises to introduce transit programs aimed at selecting individuals who could be trained and eventually support our growing industries, while government should ensure that welfare for corpers are taken care of for a period of 12 months or more even if the service period is shorter to allow the industry absorb them without much stress. The dressing is important but certainly not a priority at this time considering the number of Nigerians who have gone through the program aimlessly and have nothing to show for their education or the service altogether. Not to mention those who have lost their lives due to risks and other hazards too unfortunate to mention. |
Please when we talk of abuse does this also include dropping melted plastics and candle wax, burning with electric iron or hot metals, using blades, beating with sticks to cause injury, dipping a child's fingers or feet in boiling water, etc? Let's find another name for this level of wickedness to a child who innocently joined your family outside of their own will and has no bad intentions living with you and your children. Abuse could mean, poor feeding, verbal assaults, occasional over spanking and inducement of fear, excessive chores or physical activities, no education or social engagements what so ever, and other deprivation from things your own children freely enjoy like games and TV. |
Trump knows he miscalculated in this war and in order to fix the problem he has to get Iran on his side somehow. However the trouble has only begun because some day after Trump is gone, unforgiving Iran will repay America for their actions anyway they can. |
If I were to be in charge, I would encourage the terrorists to repent, (which is a good thing for them) and kill them after so they will not die in hatred. |
This petitioner has not seen politicians displaying wealth not commensurate with their earnings. |
ashawopikin:Yes o. After all they operate in the Jungle. |
We are loosing touch of some of these good food ingredients because we are turning to Noodles, Maggi this and that, sachet spieces etc etc. My mum used to cook with this decades ago (Ibaba) in ibibio. Those days you could eat very delicious meals made from home grown crops and only natural ingredients without any artificial seasonings. |
Africans do not need a visa to enter, do business or settle in Nigeria. This is one of the most porous if not the only one in the world where people, especially blacks can enter stay and work without checks, permits or question from anyone. These young men could have been going about their business unchecked if not for some peculiar concern. I came back to add this to my post, because after posting I read the comment of the guy above me. VERY TRUE PLEASE. This is one of the biggest negligence of our government for very many years and that's why we are in the current situation. That is why no one can tell when the terrorists are moving in or out of our boarders, all we hear about is their attacks. |
At a convocation lecture, a governor shouldn't be reading he should be talking to the students and academicians. |
So what are the citizens and civil society groups supposed to do? Purchase guns, arm themselves or stay awake at night? Is the Nigerian government truly incapable of fighting this menace? If we put same energy we putting into 2027 ambition on the fight against terrorism, the terrorists would have been gone by now. It's all about priority of investment, time and action. |
Nnamdi Kanu said years ago. |
naijapikin2:AMEN, AMEN, AMEN, AMEN |
DiamondsAreFore:This is all evidence to show that there are criminals in the state government who are talking to these criminals in the bush. I will not imagine such an update on their demands suddenly becoming political. Wetin concern bandits with law? They are being guided by insiders who are calling the bluff of the state government. |
SmartPolician:Why will they imagine they should consider the demands of these criminals? At this stage, Nigeria needs to adopt a 50-50 strategy to every kidnap incident. Storm the area, rescue the victims, kill all terrorists, ensure damage control and compensation. This way these idiots will know the game is over for money making and playing with human lives. |
Dialpad:Well, thats why the post is here and it's got people talking. Abeg money and good relaxed life us the best. |
When Naira was N165 to $1US the minimum wage was about N18000. I paid my staff N18000 to N25000 Today I pay my staff N50000 to N70000. What is that equivalent to the USD? We want to rate petrol, rice, cars, cloths, travel expenses, legislator's salaries against the USD but workers earnings against the number of, 000s it should have behind it. I think it's all unfair to think this way. Workers deserve better if the system works right. |
Those moving to APC are no better. It's like being in a crowd and you want to talk to everyone, you must find a way to wiggle to the front, good or bad. Nigerias political problems require desperate measures today because the country is in deep trouble. Anyone thinking that we will correct our leadership mistakes of the past with the processes we have in place today is dreaming. No popular party will present us a candidate with true spirit except by mistake or some exceptions and the individual just decides to ignore all the strings that brought him in and works to save the country through reforms. No primaries, electoral commission, ballot boxes or voters cards or election days will bring any change that will make us change our leadership qualities except something out of the ordinary happens. sparko1: |
The Nigerian deep rooted political problem came when the military who were afraid of prosecution after military rule handed this country to touts who were willing to play dirty, who were willing to cause violence, destroy election materials, kill or intimidate descent Nigerians who wanted a real country. No sane person could venture into politics at that time. Today those touts have become, governors and have grown to the top of our political hemisphere continuously recruiting other touts along the line. Visit many wards and party gatherings today and you will understand the type of people in charge of our future. This is how Nigeria got leadership wrong and it's deep rooted that a change will require some type of catastrophic end to the current way things are done. |
I'm wondering what may have prompted her opening up a new mattress she bought. ![]() |
That Nigerian's name is fake. This must be the handwork of the enemies of Nigeria's political future. |
nlfpmod:This can only be described as balablu |
Mental slavery for someone who talks of being a leader. You don't need Tinubu of your people believe in you. |
Watch and see. This will be the case nationwide into the general elections. |
Raxxye:It's the other way round bro. |
Una don de find wetin una go take start ebola talk now abi? Why now? |
Dear mothers, for now, our politicians are busy strategising for 2027. We haven't seen any careful and calculated Nigeria project involving all our politicians from different parts of the country all with a strong desire to win, like 2027. How I wish those that hold power, could leave everything else, come together to fight, corruption, poor security and banditry, hunger, |
The Rivers people like it that way. |
No Nigerian politician shared this video. They are busy sharing envelopes for 2027 ambition so the killings will continue. |
