leave them. They are people who keep fooling themselves thinking they are fooling others. Their inability to stand by the truth is the reason they are always confused and supporting evil things that end up failing them. It is as a result of hate and greed. Since the emergence of social media platforms such as Facebook, Whatsapp, IMO, Twitter, Instagram etc, meeting and socializing with people has become so easy that people across the globe can relate and at the same time communicate with each other irrespective of the distance. On 30.05.2015 I just stumbled on the devastating news of Angela Russo, a missing Arizona young woman who was gruesomely murdered by Lashawn Johnson after she was reportedly missing. According to Angela Russo's mother, the deceased went on a date with Johnson, a man she met on a dating site.

Here in Nigeria, a young business woman few years back was strangled to death in a hotel room by a set of young men she met online. The death of these innocent people and so many other social vices motivated me to publish this article which gears towards educating social media users on how to handle online dating. One has to be very careful when dealing with online dating, because in most cases you have to deal with total strangers whom you don't even know their mental state.

I have been active on social media for over 13 years and within this period, I have come across so many people who in one way or the other have benefited from online dating.

If you are going on a date for the first time with someone you met online, you have to put into consideration the points that I will be sharing.

RISK ASSESSMENT APPLICATION: When going on a date with people you meet online, please always apply the risk assessment theory. What this means is that as you agree to hookup, try to identify any hazard that may come up in the cause of you meeting up with a total stranger. When you identify, then you have to analyze and evaluate if you can proceed with such date. When applying this theory, you have consider the personality of the individual, the location, number of people involved and the distance.
THIRD PARTY INVOLVEMENT: It is advisable to involve a third party before embarking on an online date. Yea, this is a mistake most victims of online date make that you have to avoid. Make sure you inform someone close to you of every move you make by sending messages.

While you chart with him forward the pics to the third party you involved earlier so that they will know the person you went on a date with.
MAKE USE OF YOUR MOBILE GPS TRACKER: GPS which simply means Global Positioning Systems will enable your love one to determine and track your precise location. So before things get out of hands, you will be easily located.
If the above tips are properly made use of when meeting an online date, it will be very difficult for the evil ones to carry out their plans. Remember that any strange person you are meeting from the social media platform is a suspect until you are certified that his or her intentions are genuine. Good luck as you search for true love.

My bro i am very very interested in this matter, it came to my knowledge at the death of my beloved father when an old man who loved him advised us to kill the burial goats to avert tragedies in the future. My research into the issue unearthed terrifying facts and stories. It appears being a staunch christian does not stop the evil once unleashed. I really want to know if there is a way to avert this tragedies without giving them any cow or goat.

Please if you are from Mbaise in Imo state, ask your parents to reveal your culture, tradition and history before is too late. I got to know my uncle in 2008 when i just relocated to Lagos from Abia state. I was called by a friend for a job offer in Lagos, i needed a place to stay in Lagos before the job will be given to me. My Dad arranged with this my uncle to acomodate me. When i met this man, i was very happy at how his entire family received me. In 2014, my uncle relocated back to my village with his family. Two weeks back, i got a call from him and he requested i should send him some cash to enable him see a medical doctor. He told me that he was having a contineus hiccup. I managed to transfer some cash to him, and he was very grateful. To my surprice, my dad just called to inform me that my uncle and his elder brother just died. I was very shock and divastated with the news. Few days later, the third brother to this my uncle was about dying from the same strange hiccup. After some enquiries and consultations, some elders revealed that 36 years back, my unlce's dad died and they were supposed to burry him by slaughtering a cow but they could'nt because of their financial stand back then. They made a promise to slaughter the cow when they grow up, a promise they forgot to fulfil. The tradition is that until they slaughter a cow for their dad, they will never taste a cow meat when they attend any burial ceremony in my village. Some how they had a taste of a cow meat in one of the burial they attended and the result is death. This tradgedy can only occour when a wicked old man who inderstand the history and tradition triggers the clause. For instance, if an old man who understand the culture report you to the gods by performing a libation to the gods and reminding them that you had a taste of the meat without slaughtering to your late dad. The demons incharge of this tradition will kill such person. RIp to my uncle! He was burried today. I still wonder why we continue to practice this tradition irespective of the growth of christianity in the land. My childhood friend and neighbor is from Asaga I was there for the mom burial. See when I was growing up, I was a leader of a gospel band and I toured old bende like Dubai. There is no part of Community in Abia state I have not been to. Arochukwu is yet to see the light. You know that am right.

It will take God's mercy for development to enter Arochukwu. Arochukwu and Okigwe are the major route for slave trading back then.
