Religion / Re: Why Yul Edochie Is Not Qualified To Be A Pastor by Ivegotsolutions(m): 11:36am On Feb 04
alBHAGDADI:
1 Timothy 3:2-5 KJV
A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; one that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (for if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

The news that made the rounds recently is that Nollywood Actor Yul Edochie has started his own pastoral ministry, a church he named True Salvation Ministry. If Yul Edochie is promising true salvation, then we need to ask if the man himself is saved then go ahead to place him in the light of the Bible before concluding if he's worthy to be a pastor.

Nowhere in his entire ministry has he shown his church's Statement of Faith which will determine if he believes in Works Salvation or the salvation gotten through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. That's by the way.

The above Bible passage alone exposes why Yul Edochie cannot be a pastor. The passage says a pastor must be "the husband of one wife". Yul Edochie has two wives who have children for him. The claim that he's not married to the second wife, Judy, is a claim that even monkeys won't believe if wrapped in banana. There are bedroom videos of him and Judy. There are PDA videos of both of them. He recently posted that he doesn't joke with the lady who has a child for him. All these to the detriment of his first wife May Edochie.

The reason the Bible stipulates as a must for a pastor to be of one wife is that it will portray the pastor as someone with discipline. But a movie actor who sleeps around despite being married won't hesitate to sleep with the women in his congregation.

The passage also said "A bishop then must be blameless". As we will see later on in this post, Yul Edochie is not blameless. Yes, he also not "vigilant, sober, of good behaviour" as required by the Bible. How can he be called a pastor when he has videos of him engaging in bitter quarrel with the second women in his life that displaced his wife May Edochie? That makes him a "Brawler", which is one of the things the above Bible passage said a pastor must not be.

The Bible passage also said a pastor must not be "greedy of filthy lucre". Only a fool won't see clearly that Yul Edochie is going into church ministry for money. The passage shows he's not qualified for a role, yet he has taken it up. That shows he took it up for the money. Man is going to make huge gains via YouTube views. All he has to do is take on the form of Fake Pastor Jerry Eze who blabs like a toddler whilst thinking he's speaking in tongues. All he has to say is "God Told Me", and women, both married and single, will flood his channel to potentially replace his second wife.

The part of the above Bible passage that also destroyes Yul Edochie's claim of pastorship is below.

"...one that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (for if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)"

The Nollywood Actor acting as a pastor doesn't rule his household well. His actions have made his wife May Edochie to flee their home after he welcomed a new wife. I would have wondered what the wife has been doing since she fled their home but Yul Edochie has made it known. He recently showed that he has no rulership over her when he said, "You had time to do breast enlargement surgery and tummy tuck without your husband's consent".

The Bible said, "for if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?"

A word is enough for the wise.

Yul is a pastor not a Bishop.
Education / Prou Provides Free UTME Tutorials For Students by Ivegotsolutions(m): 10:40pm On Feb 01
ProU Education, Africa’s higher learning institution and early career management platform, has announced that its entire Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) study suite will be accessible for free throughout February on the ProU App for the first 100,000 students.

In a statement, Founder of ProU Education, Dr Piyush Jain, said the initiative would alleviate the pressure on parents and students preparing for the 2024 UTME.

He said the App aligns with the JAMB curriculum, adding that it reports over 3000 daily learners, offering 1000+ hours of video tutorials across subjects of Science, Social Studies, and Languages, along with 10,000+ mock questions with answers for free.

Jain said ProU’s mission is to improve access to quality and affordable education in Nigeria. He noted that the app offers a user-friendly interface, enabling seamless navigation and allowing students to study at their own pace, anytime and anywhere.

He said, “Since 2020, more than 1.5 million students fail the UTME exam annually, with about 65 per cent of students who write the exam unable to secure university admissions.

“Additionally, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported that Nigeria’s inflation rate rose to 28.92 per cent in December, marking its highest in more than 27 years.

“Hence, for a limited period in February, the ProU App is extending free access to the first 100,000 students who sign up to study. This opportunity should not be missed for those looking to supercharge their UTME preparation. Students should access Prouapp.com/jamb to study.”

Ngozi Eze, a student in Abuja, said: “ProU App deserves my thanks. University admissions are competitive, but ProU’s UTME Prep is giving me the edge. Their mock exams and feedback pinpointed my weak spots. I feel super ready. ProU made a real impact.”

Politics / Akpuruka N'orlu: The Man That Will Become A Senator In The 10th Republic. by Ivegotsolutions(m): 9:36am On Jan 27, 2023
AKPURUKA N'ORLU: THE MAN THAT WILL BECOME A SENATOR IN THE 10TH REPUBLIC.

On the eve of the submission of the expression of interest form to the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC ) for purposes of contesting the Imo West Senatorial District, the man who spent three decades propagating and protecting Ndigbo interests and serving the greater glory of Ndi Orlu as a founder of Obigbo, a social-political association attended an event in the Imo State capital of Owerri where he became the issue of profound admiration. Ever since his confirmation as the candidate of the Labour Party a few months ago, the Ihioma-born Chief Charles Ugochukwu Ahize ( Akpuruka N'Orlu ) has become the center of attention from the key players and watchers of Imo State politics.

Akpuruka N'Orlu is a delightful socialite and activist, and entrepreneur. A happy
grandfather, and a compassionate, dependable, humble, and God-fearing personality. Attending public events is his turf, therefore, not a difficult act for the camera, especially on the campaign trail.

In the early days of the campaign, not a few candidates in the race dismissed him as being a proxy distraction from Douglas House. But those in the know of Chief Ahize likened him to Tolstoy's "War and Peace" who drove Napoleon out of France and then beat him all the way back to Paris. Many of the voters believe that Chief Ahize has the capacity, contacts, and courage to restore Orlu Nation's dignity and pride.

The symbolism of the various endorsements by political, social, economic, and professional groups across Imo West senatorial district was not lost to anyone paying attention to Orlu zone politics. Orlu senatorial zone is once again in dire need of recovery. And in the past weeks, Chief Charles Ahize and almost certain successor to Owelle Ndigbo, Senator Rochas Okorocha after the February 25th, 2023 elections has been sending a not-so-subtle signal that he is the man for the job hence the
deliberate escalation of misinformation, disinformation, and mischievous propaganda against his candidacy.

Fortunately, there has been another installment of a quietly powerful image campaign that began when INEC lifted the restrictions on political campaigns. It has been crafted by a team of professionals now surrounding him. But it springs ultimately from Akpuruka N'Orlu himself—from who he is, friends, say, and what he believes. He is accessible, kindhearted, humble, and accepts advice.

Chief Ahize plucked the Labour Party ticket from the redeeming ecclesiastical beatitude for the national rebirth being propelled by the ObiDatti Movement at the time that notion seemed faintly comical. Until then, the candidate of the ruling APC was steamrollering to the red chambers for the second time. Akpuruka N'Orlu's popularity rating was 40% in October. The lanky wiry bald man with a hard face and piercing eyes seemed destined to be just another contestant in the making.

How wrong that was. As far as Ndi Orlu are concerned, Akpuruka N'Orlu has not set foot wrong since becoming the senatorial candidate of the Labour Party. His appeal is plain enough. He is tough, sociable, competent, and humble. Imo West Senatorial District has embraced his biography. The Oru axis of Orlu zone presently occupies the governorship position in the person of HE. Sen. Hope Uzodimma ( Onwa Oyoko ). Therefore, the senatorial seat should be zoned to Orlu or Nkwerre axis of Imo State for purposes of equity and fairness. Ideato Nation is occupying the current 9th Republic.

For better, Chief Ahize has become the man of the moment precisely because of who he is. Akpuruka N'Orlu is disciplined and meticulous, a back-slapping populist, and a consummate socialite. Akpuruka N'Orlu is gregarious and can be as icy as he looks. While some other candidates are notorious for their (put it mildly) unhealthy lifestyle, Chief Ahize is a health fanatic. He likes nothing better than to take a long open-air walk and he frequently squeezes in time to indulge in his passion for the gym.

Akpuruka N'Orlu is anti-establishment in an additional, politically important sense. During his rise as the founder of Obigbo, he committed himself to champion Igbo causes. He made a career in the entertainment and automotive industries when it was a very attractive proposition to run a nightclub in the then nation's capital Lagos. There are not many Igbos who hold that business choice against him. Chief Ahize was no star, either academically or professionally beyond a law degree from the University of Lagos. But hard work, unswerving loyalty, empathy for his friends, and a basic competence have served him well. Better, indeed, than anyone could have expected.

Chief Charles Ugochukwu Ahize has succinctly captured his legislative agenda tagged "Solemn Legislative Agenda With My People of Imo West Senatorial District" which addressed the fundamentals of representation in the red chambers. I recommend that you read it.

Vote Wisely, Vote for Labour Party.

It is POssible

Religion / Imagine If The Funeral Service Of Queen Elizabeth Ii Was Held At The Assumpta. by Ivegotsolutions(m): 12:26pm On Sep 20, 2022
IMAGINE IF THE FUNERAL SERVICE OF QUEEN ELIZABETH II WAS HELD AT THE ASSUMPTA CATHEDRAL, OWERRI, IMO STATE.

The dignitaries will come to the event late, especially political office holders.

The Bishop's sermon will be intermittently disrupted as extinguished and dishonorable office holders, sorry, distinguished, and honourable politicians will stroll in to take the front pews.

The Bishop will have a herculean task to maintain protocol and call out the names of the dignitaries and proxy representatives without incurring the repercussions associated with the cardinal sin of omitting the earned and borrowed titles.

The security details and other aides of the 'constituted authority' will block the views of other guests and mourners seated behind as they exhibit sycophantic traits of allegiance.

The funeral service will provide opportunities for the church to raise funds and or use the pulpit to settle political and religious scores.

There are likely to be disagreements on who should be allowed to speak and in the order of speaking in the church.

In dramatic and sensational ways, the funeral event will turn the church more into a political rally than a worship centre.

The altar boys at the church would have to wrestle the protocol team of the government from mounting the podium bearing the official seals.

The delivery of the vote of thanks will likely elicit another controversy between the supporters of the government claiming it was a State funeral and the members of the deceased queen's family.

The side-chicks of Prince William and Harry, and other government officials will dress as protocol staff or escorts to have access to them even in somber moments of worship.

There will be different screaming colors and designs of 'asoebi', head gears, and hats. The newest models of iPhone and Android will be on display with intermittent loud ring-outs.

The pen merchants and television crew members at the event will seek gratification to publish and broadcast names and images of guests in their reportage.

In all of the vanity, many will forget the admonition in Ecclesiastes 7:2-4
"It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting, for that is the end of all men; and the living will take it to heart. Sorrow is better than laughter, for by a sad countenance the heart is made better. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth" (Ecclesiastes 7:2-4).

May the souls of the departed rest in peace ✌️

Jobs/Vacancies / Fake Employment: Panel Recommends Whistleblower’s Sacking by Ivegotsolutions(m): 5:35pm On Aug 15, 2022
A civil servant, Richard Oghenerhoro, is set to face disciplinary action for uncovering fake employment in the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing in Abuja and making his finding public.

The whistleblower was found guilty of misconduct, breach of oath of secrecy, unauthorised disclosure of official information and copying of official documents, contrary to the provisions of the Public Service Rules.

The rule recommended termination of appointment or forced retirement for the offences.

This is as four other officials in the ministry are set to be re-deployed over documentation and enrolment of the officers uncovered by Oghenerhoro into the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System platform.

All the recommendations were contained in the report of the investigative panel obtained by our correspondents.

The committee, headed by a senior official of the ministry, Rufus-Ebegba Immaculata, submitted its report to the office of the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola.

The PUNCH reports that the committee was constituted following the receipt of Oghenerhoro’s petition dated July 22, 2020.

Politics / Revenge Is A Kind Of Wild Justice. By Chidiebere Heavens Agwunobi Esq. by Ivegotsolutions(m): 12:43pm On Feb 07, 2022
REVENGE IS A KIND OF WILD JUSTICE.

My brother and dependable ally, Nze, Dr. M.V. Ezenwa ( Akwaa Akwuru, Umuobom), there is no possibility that we can agree with the "Haters In chief" on the issues even though a few years ago, they were in the 'advance team' as the Otimkpu of that era and could not miss any opportunity to arrogantly remind us " Please let me call you back, I am in government house."

Until the coming of Sen. Okorocha as governor, we shared 'Mr' as the introductory prefix, but today they would feel indignant without the sobriquet 'Hon'. These are narcissist, self-serving parasitic, entitled spoilt brats swimming through the intestines of our common patrimony suckling the goodness out of it for their repugnant gratification. Some of them would serve in any government that rewards ignorance and hubris.

There are consolation prizes for some of us the 'outsiders'. Nothing of our current surplus or lack thereof, is traceable to that era, unlike the latter-day saints that benefited from the system which they have suddenly waged war to discredit.

Some of these sanctimonious preachers of the beatitude shamelessly converted government properties in their possessions.
In this case, however, the dogma being shattered is based fundamentally on ignorance. Politics of hate has rested precariously on a single story being told by the equally dammed.

Wallowing in a solipsistic politics of the moment dictated by their hubris isn't much of a challenge in comparison. Politicians of that era and in the present tense are not special by their public display of moral rectitude, or what they spin around us, or because their benefactor seems to have lost control of the local politics of Imo State.

Slowly but surely, we've been compelled to renounce the comfort of these beliefs that the judicial process must be allowed to run the full course. Our true distinction is the intellectual journey that brought us to this understanding.

"Revenge is a kind of wild justice".- Francis Bacon. Essays of Revenge.

I come in peace ✌️

Politics / Imagine If Rochas Okorocha Had Taken The Funds Allegedly Misappropriated? by Ivegotsolutions(m): 9:59pm On Feb 05, 2022
*IMAGINE IF OWELLE ROCHAS OKOROCHA HAD TAKEN THE FUNDS ALLEGEDLY MISAPPROPRIATED OVERSEAS?*

There is no gainsaying that the continued attack on the business and political interests of Sen. Okorocha is going badly. Unlike some commentators, who must have their satellite reconnaissance of the outcome — I don't see how one can make definitive judgments about the presidential ambition of the former governor. But it is clear that the conspiracy on the other front—at home—is in trouble, largely because it is being waged in a ham-handed manner with a basic approach that is utterly misguided.

Some Igbo politicians play politics of annihilation, and Imo State is the atomic capital. Without being immodest, many of the commentators on "Imo Air" are uninformed about the Public-Private Partnership ( PPP) with Air Midwest and Dana Air respectively. A lot of the comments are driven by unpretentious mischief and politics.

Unfortunately, the major players in the Rochas administration have failed to defend their principal and his government and have unwittingly surrendered the narrative to the transducers of Sen. Okorocha to spew lies against his person on many of the issues.

Imo Air was conceptualized by Chief Ikedi Ohakim's administration and the initial counterparts' funding advanced to the company was inadequate as specified in the partnership deal with Air Midwest.

It is a known fact to those in the aviation industry that the Air Midwest deal suffered a setback when the Ohakim's government could not fund the purchase of the second aircraft which was a prerequisite in securing an operational license from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to conform with the standards and recommended practices of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).

In 2017, Imo State Government under Sen. Rochas Okorocha relaunched Imo Air to be operated by Dana Airline, the partnership contract was for 10 years. Any unbiased commentator should interrogate why the two partnership deals failed instead of the revisionist diatribe against a particular regime.

The second original sin according to the latter-day saints against Sen. Okorocha was the insider dealing in the public-private partnership between the Imo state government and the Rochas Foundation.

The climax of the crisis was the "recovery" of Eastern Palm University, Ogboko, renamed after a foremost nationalist Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe. The university was approved by the National Universities Commission in 2016 as the 42nd state-owned university in Nigeria and academic activities commenced in 2017. Notwithstanding the bad press, a second university for Imo State is another resounding legacy of Sen. Okorocha.

If you live in a glasshouse, you should change clothes in the basement. Unlike other governors ( past and present) that have no visible investments in Imo State, Sen. Okorocha has identifiable investments and job creation which have been targeted by his transducers. Imagine if Owelle Rochas Okorocha had taken the funds allegedly misappropriated overseas to build hotels and casinos, or set up universities abroad? Where are the investments of the puritanical moral gatekeepers and saints or maybe they have not diverted our resources to private accounts?

The ongoing legal clash and its outcome could determine the rules of engagement in political mischief. But in a new era of insecurity where Imo State has bigger worries, the epic struggle between the gladiators calls for settlement that should be more wrist slap than the head butt.

The current campaign against Sen. Okorocha has had its mythology, a lot of which doesn't apply to the actual issues. Otherwise, we will have to get used to permanently being distracted and therefore, unable to hold the current government accountable unless that was the intention all along. In many ways, this is the most important front of calming things down. And we are losing.

Politics / Is Rochas Okorocha Worse Than The Alternatives From The Other Geopolitical Zone? by Ivegotsolutions(m): 9:00pm On Feb 02, 2022
*IS OWELLE ROCHAS OKOROCHA WORSE THAN THE ALTERNATIVES FROM THE OTHER GEOPOLITICAL ZONES?*

Rochas Okorocha may be a philanthropist, real estate entrepreneur, and politician, a target of endless probes and, quite possibly, Nigeria's next president. But most of all, the main issue in Imo State politics. Owelle conversely conducts himself as his favorite philanthropy considering the number of public assets traceable to companies and foundations associated with him and his comic references are legendary "I’m richer than Imo, I can’t steal from small state money."

In another time, the braggadocio of the man who likes to be called Owelle might amuse his transducers. But today's Nigeria is no joke. The economy, youths restiveness, and insecurity make a lot of Nigerians nervous. Sen Okorocha has come under such a torrent of criticism on social media, some of it concerned, some of it political and contemptuous especially from Orlu senatorial zone.

It is not the first time that Owelle, Imo State's self-acclaimed richest (former) governor, has been on center stage. Without a doubt, Sen. Okorocha has singlehandedly trained many young indigent people through his Rochas Foundation than any living person from the South East.

During the 2011 elections, Sen. Okorocha won the governorship election, and at the time, he was a curiosity. Even though Owelle formed a political party Action Alliance (AA ) from the scratch but against all odds won re-election under the All Progressives Congress (APC) when the party was unpopular in the South East.

Eight years of missed opportunities as the executive governor occasioned by poorly conceived and badly executed projects, alleged abuse of power, and conversion of public assets had impacted negatively on his goodwill but Sen. Okorocha remains the most recognizable Igbo name amongst the voters in northern Nigeria.

There is widespread consternation at the escalating diatribe with his successor at Douglas House, the seat of government in Imo State. The question is on which political party will Owelle contest the presidential election? It's not just a matter of personality or platforms. The discomfort centers on his ongoing investigation and trial by the anti-graft agency.

Some commentators felt constrained to remind Nigerian voters that they must uphold certain values that the election of Sen. Okorocha would contradict. Owelle denounces the allegations against him as a political witch hunt.

On the 31st of January, 2022, Sen. Okorocha declared his intention to run for the presidency of Nigeria in 2023 and promised to reunite the country, provide free access to education, from basic to the secondary school level, and that the youths would be given the chance to develop their skills and contribute to the development of the country. Some have said that Owelle speaks a lot and says beautiful things.

Politics can be messy torment. But even at its messiest, as I have inquired about many times: Is Owelle worse than the alternatives from the other geopolitical zones?

Politics / Sen. Rochas Okorocha: "Whatever Hits The Fan Will Not Be Evenly Distributed." by Ivegotsolutions(m): 12:46pm On Feb 01, 2022
Why is it that, literally within hours after Sen Rochas Anayochukwu Okorocha declared his intention to contest the presidency of Nigeria, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission slammed him with a 17-count charge of N2.9 billion and it exploded to drown out the excitement of Owelle supporters.

Some political analysts have predictably suggested that the ultimate reason lies back in the inglorious past of the anti-graft agency when political sorcerers target presumed opponents of the levers of power. It is the rigid and roguish legacy of our nascent democracy, they say, that has left Nigerians incapable of taking a sensible, drama-free approach towards abuse of office and other malfeasance.

This is not an argument that takes much legal reflection to disprove. Was Nigeria any less in thrall to 'puritan morality' and or EFCC lethargic a few days ago when another prominent member of the ruling party announced his intention to contest for the same office notwithstanding the avalanche of the petitions against him bothering on fraud allegations?

No, the hysteria over Sen. Okorocha's declaration has its roots less in the infamous past than in the local politics of Imo State, and especially in some of the very causes being championed by his predecessor in the senate.

Starting from the time Sen. Okorocha was elected into the Nigerian senate, there was a spirited effort to deny him access to the National Assembly until the principal positions were contested and shared. They used the courts, INEC, and administrative agencies to set up formal barriers against his being sworn in as a senator. The result has been nothing less than the stigmatization, indeed often the media trial and criminalization.

The tactics have unwittingly attracted sympathy to Sen. Okorocha from people who had hoped that the judicial process of restitution should have commenced long before now. It is a mistake to think of this development principally in terms of a political witch hunt.

Since the return to democratic rules, the political class has grown fat feeding on our commonwealth, and in the process has effectively transformed the political arena into one great permanent floating scandal with few consequences except for the occasional drama of arraignment.

The most obvious culprits are in the lunatic fringe of
social media especially Whatsapp, Facebook, and Twitter, where enormous competitive pressures have arisen to expose the misdeeds of the powerful, no matter how picayune. But don't forget the e-rats and well-funded political attack dogs that have mushroomed as media consultants.

When these groups are accused of making Greek tragedy trivia, they all respond, piously, that some of the present and past politicians are corrupt or they turn blind eye to the actions of their benefactors. In a world of 2-weeks sound-bites, the point is difficult to refute, and the consensus has yet to be challenged.

And now, the Holy Grail of this perpetual quest to nail Sen. Okorocha has come within sight: potential evidence of criminal activity by the Rochas administration has been filed at the Federal High Court, Abuja by the EFCC. It was the report of the various judicial commissions of inquiry set up by the Ihedioha administration, more than the tales of rufurufu fights with Gov. Hope Uzodiimma, or even iberiberism per se, which sent the social media into such convulsions. The speed at which the actions of EFCC developed reflects the stunning acceleration of all these political trends over the past three years, as well as the obvious effects of national politics regarding the presidency, come 2023.

Until the courts decide on the matters, Owelle is free to aspire to any political positions. Whatever hits the fan will not be evenly distributed.

I come in peace ✌️

Politics / Between Saints And Sinners In Ideato Nation By Chidiebere Heavens Agwunobi Esq. by Ivegotsolutions(m): 12:38pm On Feb 01, 2022
" BETWEEN SAINTS AND SINNERS IN IDEATO NATION "

I've come to the SINNERS PURIFICATION CONFERENCE being poetically exhumed by my brother and dependable ally, Nze, Dr. Modesty Ezenwa ( Akwaa Akwuru, Umuobom ), and as a social commentator and attorney, to play what looters accomplices here call "busy body." Instead of seeking the sacrament of redemption, though, or the purgatory of political hiatus, we are being insulted by their hypocrisy to serve the people of Ideato Nation even when our deplorable situation could be traced to their shameless greed and avarice.

There is no doubt that these people are unconscionable, callous, and unrepentant. Unfortunately, Sen. Rochas Okorocha became the signpost for everything bad in Ideato Nation ( after all, the buck stops at his table ) while the villains that supervised the dilapidated school structures, erosion ravaged boulevards, and death dispensary health centers have become the latter-day saints unabashedly gallivanting to retain or snatch the map to some ersatz treasure. The terrain isn't promising because the buried bones and files will be exhumed.

Everywhere on Whatsapp platforms, sycophants, fussy, grubby 'apex' leaders, pseudo 'honorable', political contractors are seething on the next elections consoles skidding into patchily damaged characters as the savior of the dammed. Political wisdom pegs the current activities as a bunch of looters and nerds feeding fantasies to the traumatized citizenry, sociopaths, poorly educated, and illiterates.

While I meet plenty of friendly development-oriented and delightful Ndi Ideato Nation, there's enough cruel truth in the stereotype to keep it slouching into my mind. Integrity, service, and humility don't appear to be the people's ambrosia.

Meanwhile, when you meet the vuvuzelas offline, they confess that some of the political holders and pretender usurpers are unsuitable for political offices. Beyond its clever, nasty truth between saints and sinners, politics feels fitting for the times, a game in which all victories are both self-serving and degrading. It's hardly the bright grail that triumphs, but there's excitement and cultural significance in its vertiginous, visceral badness. As for service, the thing is hell on wheels.

I come in peace ✌️.
