Please I got this mail from University of West London. Please can someone please explain the next step I'm suppose to take? At what stage do I pay my fees? Please help

However, I read here that there's an expiration (Nov. 23rd) for the 28days financial statement. Please is this applicable to all schools for January 2022 session? Reason for asking, is that my brother is suppose to send me the fund for my POF as he's the one sponsoring me but has yet to send it. He promised to send it tonight or tomorrow. Now, can I meet up with the deadline? Please anyone kindly help. Thanks

4) Any of your lecturers in your dept can give you reference letter. It could be your supervisor or any lecturer you are close to.
No,English Proficiency is different from reference letter.. Check your school what they require for English proficiency( it could be either WAEC or NECO oor IELTs) I hope this help to some extent

Good evening everyone. Was going thru the previous messages when I noticed the exchange rate £1 (pound). Normally, I do business with my sister who's in the uk and according to her, a pound is equivalent to N780 at as last week. Which I have been paying. I read here that it is even less than N600. I'm confused.

3rd, I did a diploma program before going for direct entry where I got my B.Sc. I have my B.Sc transcript. Do I need to get the Diploma transcript too?

4th, please who issues academic reference letter in my school? Can my department give me the said Academic Reference Letter? Is Academic Reference Letter the same thing as English Proficiency? Thanks and God bless �

If it is a fresh passport you don't need to have your husband's name on your NIN. Your marriage certificate is all they require except you are renewing your passport.

Two things. Apart from the stupid Nigerian patriarchy at play, his statement concerning travelling alone with the children's with different last names may occur in the Nigerian context, true, where Immigration can seize on any opportunity to extort you with a threat to refer you to NAPTIP if you refuse to play ball. However, if your children are old enough to identify you as their mother that ceases to be a potential problem. Secondly, Immigration also has the right to refuse to issue your children passports if they feel both parents are not in agreement concerning that (anti-child trafficking measures), so bear that in mind.

Having said those, if you and your husband are in demonstrable agreement on the issuance of passports to your children (your husband must have issued you with a consent letter and a copy of his passport, I presume), do not give in to that foolish officer's primitive sentiments and do what you want done.

And I have my husband's consent, which he had put into writing along with other supporting documents. I will go again with our marriage certificate tomorrow. Thanks again for lifting my Spirit.

Get your marriage certificate and ask their dad to write a consent letter for them to get a passport from the office . Yes. They do have birth certificate and yes my passport name is what's on mother's column. My husband already gave a consent letter, plus every other document needed. Going there again tomorrow with our marriage certificate. Thanks alot. God bless �

Lots of women are still answering their maiden names and travel with their kids and are certainly not flight risks or whatever.

My experience at Awka today was funny...
I opted for DIY process. Went with every document. Did online payment on 17th n scheduled for interview today 23rd. Got there I was directed to this Yoruba guy who said i should go get my passport payment slip instead of d acknowledgement slip I was with then asked if I was given a date I said today n he was was like it can't be, then went on to ask me for receipt of my identification letter. Omo I just lost my cool.. what's receipt for Identification letter? Not even school asks for that so how come? He was like mine looks fake, that it has no seal n stamp. O boy! Even d blind sef dey see am naa.. Finally he n other Igbo guy asked me to leave d office. One other lady now asked if it was a DIY process.
I had to call my mum who's a civil servant abt d issue so she got d receipt for me...
I go show that guy madness tommorow. The funny thing is that this same officers do runs in a nearby cafe just outside d gate with fake identification letter n guarantor's...
I go update una tomorrow.

Sorry about that.... I was asked to go and reprint everything simply because I used black and white. I paid N2500 to a cafe inside the office for my kids and I . Was surprised to see every other person's documents were black and white like mine but weren't told to reprint. Was cleared for capturing waiting for my file to reach capturing office like hours l, had to go back to where I was verified, and the officer said he later noticed I didn't attach my marriage certificate to my kids files blah blah and that was how I came back home. Still very angry �

The officer refused to clear my kids starting I'm suppose to back the application with our marriage certificate ( which I didn't go with) and he frowned at the fact that I didn't include my husband's name. He even advised I pay again and start afresh thereby including my husband's name... Told me how it may pose a threat should we decide to travel as a family or should I decide to travel alone with my kids. I got confused and even left him with the files, promising to come back tomorrow with a decision of wether to start afresh or continue with the application. Please I'm so disturbed and still confused. Please advice please

I got admission,I am married, about processing my visa ,I didn't change my name and I intend travelling with hubby.We have our marriage certificate showing our different names and we are good.

But I am scared , dont no if removing my middle name will pose any issue for me in the future, because I plan going for my Masters next year (oversea). Please advice

Please for the gurantor, (DIY) do I need to go with his/her original documents? Or photocopy? I know I need one passport photography. Can I go with the photocopy of the nin and data page??

if she is in Lagos, PH or abuja she will need her NIN to get a passprt and as such must first change her name on the nin to husband’s name.
Change of name on Nin is 500 naira.
Visit remita and make paymnt to NIMC, Print off the receipt and with ur other documents for change if name present at nimc office.

Back to the ppt matter,
If she is not in d above states, she wont need nin. She can go ahead and fill her husband’s name on ppt provided
1. She has not been issued a passport before in her father’s name
2. She has newspaper change of name
3. She has sworn affidavit of change of name
4. She has marriage certificate

Good evening please my sister wants to do her passport. She's married and wants to use her husband's name in her passport (DIY) please is she to fill her husband's name as her surname? Although all her documents carries her father's name. She just want to use only her husband's name and her name (she has their marriage certificate) but her NIN is carrying her father's name. Example of what you should write as height is 165, 169 or 177, for me I'm 5.11 and wrote 177

My height is 5'0ft. Which is 152cm. I entered 152 and was told it is too short. My kids are 127cm and 83cm and was told the same thing too. Inputted 172cm for me and it was accepted.
