Surulere, apart from the landlords and agents who want you to part with a million for a two year rent, the traffic on costain, cms and Bonny camp na die. I jeje return back to Berger where, ketu, iyana oworo, third mainland is free up till adekunle where I will drive slowly but not standstill untill I get to ikoyi, case closed. |
MsDelilah:People trek no be lie, I had done it once myself before. It spits fire in PH and Abuja, this I know for now, Ibadan and Akure is still a city I'll love to relocate to if I have the chance. Just that, Lagos is fun. The curse in traffic alone with your co mad drivers. ![]() Souljaboi1:Younger brother of hell, ![]() A former colleague of mine who lives around your area takes bike to and fro. I use to do that 5am too before, when I never knoew the road will be free by 7am, my eyes will go sore, I'll be feeling sick throughout the day. But the day I decided I will leave home late, I discovered, leaving 5am don't matter, I won't myself extra one hour sleep, one hour reading or browsing. I could think of productive programs also. |

GAZZUZZ:Oga, no dey put disclaimer jo. |
MsDelilah:The stress of public transport can kill in Lagos, you won't get the bus in time, you'll meet a lot of crazy people at the bus park. Geez. I will have a rough day at work, so, I'd better drive down calmly. |
GAZZUZZ:You mean to say cucumber comes to mind. ![]() |

Make I share the story of how my village people take mess me up last week. I took my car to an area of sango and got some dirts in my engine bay, plus oil stains before, everything looks messy and I decided to go for an engine wash. ![]() Na so we start. The guy wash am wella, the engine sweet me, I no fit lie, so freaky clean, the guy even clean radiator for me(source of my problem). I paid this guy extra for job well done. I drove from there to my office, parked the car from 2pm till 7pm and after work in the evening, started the car and I was feeling myself(little did I know the devil has packaged some mischief) I rolled my glass up, put on my ac and went driving on the 3rd mainland and making sure I overtook every other car. Suddenly, ac no cold again, I switched it off and continued cruising at the top speed, I now thought, guy, put the ac back on again jo, I did this as the thing dry sweet me.(mistake was, I didn't check my dash to know what could have gone wrong and why ac wasn't cooling).. few minutes later, my engine loosed power, ghenghen, on top speed, for car wash area, hot zone where boys dey rob, na him I panic push am for between fast moving vehicles to a side of the road, where a good Samaritan who was riding a bike used his leg to push the car for me. I parked at ogudu, confused, didn't know what's up, noticed it had overheated, but I didn't know the cause. I was confidant of my radiator filled with water, and the devil advised me to put engine oil in car, probably it was my oil that had leaked out, cos I got an oil light on dash just before shut down.(very stupid decision) I did this, stared the car and I started moving again, now, I noticed smoke from the tail pipe, got scared thinking the car was on fire cos of light reflection on smoke, I parked on ketu bridge, just before seven up and the car shut itself down. I towed the car home, after all efforts to start it again proved abortive. Na so we start diagnosis o, we tried starting the car, but it didnt, finally, we discovered I had a bad head gasket, reason, my engine wash guy had punctured my radiator with his pressure pipe, and coolant had leaked out through that Now, the performance never remained the same again, shuddering, delay acceleration, very poor fuel economy, More things, had gotten damaged, bad ignition coil, bad ignition nozzles, bad air intake sensor, faulty fuel regulator. All information from scan. Now I had almost ran mad, cleaned throttle body, and everything. At last, the car Has normalised, now performs very perfectly and even more than before. Lesson learnt. No ever wash engine oooooo Honda civic 2004 ![]() Chai, I spent money for this buhari era. |
Woozil:Definitely. |
Truedigits:And you will make more money if you get a good lawyer. |
Truedigits:Just sue him. If you have contract agreement with him. |
Gpopsicle:Bro, go and demand for your worth. |
kingreign: you really are here. |
yommy2yommy:What a dumb diagnosis. Abeg take your car to a someone who has better understanding on how to troubleshoot and repair not some guess work dude who will put holes in your pocket. Gazzuzz is here kingrein is here, nurey dey here, autolab is here. |
I will say for an average person, both are inevitable. Few educated mechanic are affordable. I do things like brake change and oil change with uneducated mechanic, but when it comes to issue of gear service, I know where to go. Engine electrical system, I know where to go. I don't toil with those. Some uneducated mechanic Dont know the solution to your problem, they'll be toying around with switches till they damage something else. Some educated ones too need to sit down with alldata before they can diagonise your car. So, it's all based on experience at the end of the day. |
Dem don recruit baba. ![]() |
I do tell people this same story all the time, being responsible is the way out. Most of us in this country are irresponsible citizens. Egoism, tribalism and corruption is killing us. ![]() |
