This is my first blog post of the year and I'm glad it is about how I celebrated my Val with orphans, widows and needy people in Owerri. I rarely put any of my charity work on the internet because I personally think that it is unnecessary but my best friend told me to start doing it so as to encourage others to get involved. I give Kudos to my sister @Grace Jucan for bringing the idea. It was her first project of the year as the reigning Queen Imo State Tourism, she told me about it and I agreed to sponsor it because it is a noble idea. So on February 14, 2018 we visited orphanage homes and hospitals. Some patients at St. David's hospital were discharged over 1 year ago but they couldn't go home because they cannot afford the hospital bills. I cleared some bills and about 5 patients were allowed go home after being detained in the hospital for months, I was told that some patients have been there for over 1 year. And the more you stay, the more your bills increase. I felt very bad that I couldn't help everyone in the hospital but I did my best and will go back within 2 weeks. TOP REASONS WHY IT IS GOOD TO HELP THE NEEDY ESPECIALLY THOSE IN THE HOSPITALS: 1. We are not better than those in the hospital and mortuary. 2. It makes you happy and gives inner joy that I cannot explain. 3. Both the Holy Bible and the Quran encourages us to love and help one another. 4. Helping others attracts blessings, unmerited favour and open doors, I am a living witness. 5. Paying tithe is good if you believe in it, giving money to pastors is fine and I do help when I can. But helping the poor and needy is even better, especially those in the hospital. 6. Helping needy people in the hospital is better than giving money to psychophants in the village. The Psychophants will praise you in your face especially when you give them. But any day you stop giving they will start calling you names and trash talk you behind your back. But the patients in the hospital will forever be grateful, they will pray for you for rescuing them. In my own humble opinion, giving money directly to patients in the hospital is better than giving money to orphanage homes because many greedy cum corrupt Nigerians are using orphanage homes to scam innocent people. Most of that money and gifts you donate to charity will end up in private pockets. For years I have been giving cash and material donations to orphanage homes in Ghana and Nigeria so I know what I am talking about. Just interview kids in such homes then you will know. I plan to officially register IykBethany Orphanage before the year runs out. Even though I may not be physically present to run it but I will make sure i bring honest people to run it, especially old people above 50 years old, they are less corrupt from my years of research. Younger people tend to be more desperate to become rich so they are more corrupt. I will employ people from Nigeria and Ghana and I will make sure there is 24 hours CCTV surveillance to avoid corruption. I want to use this medium to encourage you guys to please get involved. Don't think that you have to be rich before you can help others, don't wait till you become a millionaire. I have been helping people even when I had nothing. Your 5,000 naira spare money can save someone's life. Go to Nigerian hospitals then you will understand what I am saying. For the simple fact that you are healthy and not hospitalized is enough reason to be grateful to God and help the needy as much as you can. We are not better than those in the hospitals. Thanks to all who read this post up to the end. If you have not yet read my post about Witchcraft please do so now. It's an interesting read and there's now 300,000 Naira reward for anyone who can give me the proof that I requested on that particular post. Here is the link: https://iykbethanygistville.com/2017/11/23/is-witchcraft-real-or-fake/ As usual, I welcome your comments. Till we see another time. Let Love Lead. #GloriousGod #Touchinglives #Greaterheights #IykBethany You can read the full article on my blog: https://iykbethanygistville.com/2018/02/24/how-i-celebrated-val-with-orphans-widows-and-patients-in-the-hospitals/

Thanks guys for all your love and prayers. Mom is doing fine to the glory of God. The Physiotherapy worked and mom hasn't complained of any pains recently. I plan to take her with me whenever I am travelling away for few weeks. God bless you all. |
I thank everyone of you for all the wonderful comments and suggestions. I decided to first of all commit my mom's case into the hands of the Almighty God because I don't want to make any mistake. I believe that if we put God first then He will make way for us where there seems to be no way and my mom will receive a miraculous healing. We are presently seeking the face of God. After that He will lead while we fellow. Even if we must go for a surgery, we still want God to direct us to the right place and the right surgeons though I Prefer a solution that does not involve surgery bc of my mom's age. I believe our miracle is on the way. God bless you all. |
Zuluhead:Thanks so much. We will consider this. |
hidhrhis:Thanks for your inputs. I think you are correct because I had similar experience with UPTH in Port Harcourt. Teaching hospitals is not advisable for this case. |
ifyalways:Oh okay Ify sorry I am not thinking straight again. |
Zuluhead:The problem is not money per say coz i can sell everything I have to save my mom. The problem is the long distance and her condition may not withstand take off and landing. We are praying for a miracle. I wish there's a solution that does not involve surgery. Someone just sent me an email and advised me to go for physiotherapy. That's Another area I have to look at |
ifyalways:Thanks Ify. India is the last option bc up to 10 people i know that went to India for different types of surgeries, none lived up to 3 years. Also, since the spinal cord is shifted i don't know if she can withstand take off and landing in an aeroplane. Pls where is Nutase located? |
2lateBiafra:Was this a mistake or intentional? I wonder why any sane being will be joking with something like this? May God forgive you coz u dont know what you are doing. |
This is family pic we took on New Year's eve. From this pic you will notice that my mom could not stand firm like b4. Though whenever she sees me she pretends as if all is well God please heal my mom, this is the period I need her the most.
|
IamGoke:Thanks very much for the prayers, we need them. Please what is UCH and where is it located? There are many hospitals in Nigeria but i want to narrow my search to those that handle these kind of cases only. More advise is needed from others as i need to make a decision within 2 weeks time. |

Dear Friends, I don't even know how to begin this but my mother has been diagnosed with spinal stenosis with radiculopathy, the MRI scan is attached herewith. Please I am not here to solicit for money, I am here for your prayers, support and also for professional advice and directives bc this is something that has to do with the spinal cord. I believe in the power of the social media bc I myself have used social media to help so many people especially with free importation guides. My Vietnam free importation guide has been viewed over 46,000 times on Nairaland alone and I've mentored over 100 people for free on that particular post alone. I have similar posts for other countries. I seriously and urgently need the advise or guidance of someone in the medical field or someone who knows someone that has gone through this same process. The Orthopaedic surgeon we met at Holy Rosary Hospital Emekuku yesterday said my mom needs surgery bc presently my mom cannot stand firm like before, she now bends b4 she could walk. I cried myself to sleep when i came back in December and found my mom in this condition. For over 1 year she's been going to FMC Owerri and Chapel group for check ups but they didn't see nothing serious apart from typhoid, malaria, ulcer and high cholesterol. Mom decided to try Holy Rosary Hospital Emekuku last month where she was refereed to the orthopaedic department. The surgeon told me that this surgery is something they do all the time, that they handled quite a number of cases recently. But I do not want to conclude yet. I want to seek the opinion of other doctors that is why i am trying different channel bc you never know where the help or solution might come from. According to the orthopaedic surgeon at Holy Rosary, this surgery is compulsory and it needs to be done soon otherwise one part of moms body may paralyze. Already my mom does not feel anything with her left hand and feet. The doc said her nerve cells r not supplying blood to one side of her body. My question and concern is this: Does Holy Roseray Hospital Emekuku have qualified instruments and personnel to carry out this kind of surgery? WHAT is the best hospital in Nigeria for this kind of surgery? My mom is the most important person in my life and I want to do everything within my power to stop her from the pains she's presently undergoing. We are so close that anything that affects her automatically affects me, this is why most times she doesn't let me know when she's ill. I've not had any sleep since we got this MRI scan. I'm looking at going to the national orthopaedic hospital in enugu by next week but I will also welcome the advise and guidance of medical professionals on this forum. To be honest I don't want my mom to go through any surgery bc she's 64 years old. I wish there's a solution. I am praying for a miracle because I know that there's nothing God cannot do. I pray for total healing for my mom. God bless you as share and broadcast this message. A problem shared is a problem solved. Gos bless you all. |
The number of leg ulcer / leg cancer cases I’ve witnessed in Igboland within the last 2 years is alarming. In Igboland we call this Acha ere. This is a deadly incurable illness believed to be caused by witch doctors. Its quite unfortunate that most people in Nigeria blame witches, enemies or village people for deaths, job looses, poverty, sicknesses etc. Even when someone dies at the age of 120 years they still blame witches or enemies, why is everything in Nigeria about witchcraft and enemies? When are we going to think outside the box. To me I believe it could be that what we are eating that is killing us, coupled with LACK OF EXERCISE, high poverty rate, lack of good medical facilities. It could be red meat, moquito bites, milk or all these sub standard /expired goods that is flooding our markets from China. The government has failed us. Otherwise by now the government should have carried out a research so as to ascertain what causes Acha ere, and why it is incurable or at least give us some preventive measures. Since the government dont seem to be concerned I want to carry out a research about this and possibly find a solution or prevention. Our people cannot be dying like chicken and we all fold our hands doing nothing. We cant continue to sit in our homes and be blaming witches and enemies without proof. I am concerned because we are losing a vital percentage of our population to chronic but manageable illnesses like this. As I write now I know 7 people that are suffering from this leg ulcer or leg cancer that is why I am very worried. I have given many of them financial assistance still no solution in sight. Most of them have spent over 400k each going from one herbalist to the other without solution in sight. Is there anyone out there who is worried like me? I want to carry out a research on this Acha Ere illness but i cant do it alone, I need more hands because two heads are better than one. Please let us join hands and save our people from untimely and preventable death. 1. If you’ve had leg ulcer/acha ere in the past or know someone who had it please let us know how it was cured or treated so we all can learn from each other. 2. This illness or disease seems to be prevalent in Igboland, why is it so? Has anyone witnessed any case outside igboland? 3. Dont you guys think that this leg ulcer or acha ere thing has something to do with diabetes or high sugar levels? 4. Is it true that enemies and witch doctors are responsible for this illness? Do we have valid/verifiable proof or just mere hearsay? If this gossip is true, it then means that it is also possible to spiritual send HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Diabetes etc to our enemies? This is what everyone is saying but I dont believe in hearsay, gossips and superstition. God bless you all as you heed this call. You can reach me through twitter, instagram, facebook, linkedin, snapchat etc, my handle is iykbethany or you can just shoot me an email: info@iykbethanygistville.com Culled from my blog: https://iykbethanygistville.com/2017/12/14/what-causes-acha-ere-leg-cancer-or-leg-ulcer/

missjo:Ofcourse the advise is not for everyone. I am glad those who needed it contacted me personally to thank me. Its a free world, everyone is free to do whatever pleases them. |
Greetings My Beloved Nigerian sisters, Yeah its the best month of the year when we get to meet some of our old school mates, friends and family members who are living in different cities/countries. Some of our brothers in foreign countries have already started returning home, it is very possible to meet your dream man during this festive period, but please take note of the following.... 1. Not every guy that is wearing gold chain is rich, many of those chains are not real gold. Sisters please dont be deceived. 2. Stop judging a mans financial worth by his dressing or appearance, some rich dudes dont actually look rich. Some guys have no investments but are wearing multi million Naira designers clothing's, while there are some guys that have lots of investments but rarely wear designers. Yeah I think Its okay to look good but i know many successful people that dont put much emphasis on fashion. 3. Not every guy with a flashy car is rich, so my sisters please stop looking down on guys without cars. My guy was in Nigeria recently to look for a wife. Whenever he is driving his mercedes SUV most girls will give him attention but the few times i told him to move around with keke no single girl gave him attention. Some guys use 70% of their net worth to buy expensive cars just to look rich and intimidate ignorant people. I am saying this because I interact with many girls on and off social media, most girls want a guy that is already made, especially those that are driving the latest G Wagons and Range Rovers. Some of those guys are broke. Otherwise how do you describe a guy that has 2016 G Wagon and range rover but is still living in rented apartment? 4. Not every pot bellied guy is rich, some of those pot bullies could be as a result of lack of exercise, obesity, diabetes etc. Dangote has no pot belly but he is the wealthiest black man on earth. Our vice president (Yemi osinbanjo) is not fat but he is very educated, rich and successful. Im saying this because many Nigerians think that slim men are broke. Biko umunnem, this is 2017, body size has nothing to do with wealth biko. 5. Stop looking 'only' for already made men. Yes its cool to marry a man that is already rich and loaded but theres nothing wrong with marrying a man that is still growing. Some of the rich successful men you envy today married when they had nothing. Our former president Goodluck Jonathan was broke when he married Patience Jonathan but today they are rich and successful. I know some of you will come for my head claiming that some men are ingrates, you help them to grow but once they get some money they dump you. Yes its true but not all men are like that, besides, some girls do same thing to guys as well. 6. Stop looking down on people and DO NOT underrate anyone. The poor guy you call 'broke' today could be a millionaire tomorrow. Life can flip in a matter of seconds. Facebook owner was poor some years ago, but with his vision, wisdom and focus he is one of the richest men in the world today. So please DO NOT underrate anyone because you are not God. This advise is for both Nigerian guys and girls. 7. My Beloved Sisters please have some manners, love and respect people. I know some guys are annoying, stubborn etc but hey there are some polite ways of saying no to a guys advances. Being rude or arrogant nor go take you anywhere my dear. I am talking from experience. 8. Stop living a fake life. Yes stop pretending to be rich if you are not. My guy was dating a girl that claimed that her father is rich and loaded. The babe is lazy, doesn't know how to wash clothes etc, she claims that her dad got her a housemaid that does all the house chores for her. But within two months she started begging, from recharge cards to money to buy food, transport fare to visit her sick mom etc. One day my guy asked her, babes but when we met you told me that your father is rich, you also told me that you dont know how to cook and wash clothes because your daddy got you a house help. So how come you cant ask your dad to send you money for food, even transport fare to visit your sick mom? Well the babe started blabbing. 9. Stop forming porsh and classy if you aint, fake life turns some guys off including me. For instance, if you dont know how to use cutleries, nne biko devour that meat or chicken with your hands. Its not funny for you to be struggling with fork and knife in public, especially if you dont know how to use them. I was impressed with my friends secretary recently, we were eating in a restaurant when she asked, 'is it okay if I use my hands', I was really impressed with her, because some girls sabi form. 8. Fake British or American accent does not pay bills. Speaking big grammar or being fluent in English doesn't mean that someone is intelligent. Afteral there are so many guys that speak big grammar but from year to year they are carrying big files looking for job from one office to another. But if you go to Onitsha, Lagos or Aba you will see some traders and importers that cant speak good English but they have multi million naira worth of businesses in Nigeria. 9. Choose a wise man with vision over a rich foolish man. Do I need to explain this one? Hell no. 10. STOP believing in stupid things. For example, many Nigerian girls believe that the reason they are not yet married is because of witches, wicked uncle, wicked aunt or village people. This is total bulshit my sisters. Let me tell you my story. A fake pastor came to my house few years ago and told me that my uncle placed a vodoo charm on my car, that he must take the car to his temple for 7 days special prayers otherwise I will crash and die. He also told me that I was supposed to be very wealthy but my uncle placed a charm in my house to stop me from being successful. But I told him that he was lying. His name is Chiedozie Chilaka, he is the same idiot that claimed to have raised a dead man in Owerri last week. Mind you it was my mom that invited him to our house because women are easy to be deceived. Mom attended one of his crusades and he singled my mom out telling her he needs to come to our family for deliverance, this guy has many boys working for him. His boys are his informants, they get secret information for him. Once he comes to your house he starts telling you this man that died it was this or that person that killed him, he did alot of this in my village but after I exposed him he hasn't come back. All I am trying to say is, if I was a fool or mugu I would be fighting with my uncles by now. These fake pastors have destroyed many families, its a pity. I am well travelled and know that in developed countries people dont need pastors or herbalists to get a wife, husband, job, buy a car etc. But here in Nigeria the story is different, most people think and reason differently because of poverty and ignorance. I did a research and have come to realise that religion flourishes mostly in developing nations with bad leadership and failed government because most citizens mistake every human problems or challenges arising from failed government as spiritual. Sub Saharan Africa is filled with bad leaders who over the years have failed their citizens in all ramifications. So out of frustration, most Africans now believe it is witches, enemies or evil people that is the cause of their poverty, joblessness, disease, barrenness, misfortune etc. The simple truth is, the reason most Nigerian graduates do not have a job is because we have useless government. The economy is bad and many companies are folding up. I know many guys that want to marry but they cant go into marriage because they have no good job. I have 3 girls on my Facebook friendlist that actually believe that their mother is a witch that is why nothing is working for them, this is what their pastor told them. So what I am trying to say is, if you believe in these kinds of senseless things YOU ARE JUST LIMITING YOURSELF. Be a good girl, live a good life and wait for your turn. Shouting I receive from one church to another nor go give anybody husband, rather you will be making fake pastors rich. Finally, please my brothers and sister dont allow herbalists and fake pastors to destroy your family. Very soon they are coming to tell you that the reason you graduated from the university since 1960 and still remain jobless is because of this person or that person, or that the reason why a pretty woman like you is not yet married is because this person is a witch. All these nonsense must stop this year. Try to be wise and smart, stop being gullible. We should be fighting the government because they got us into this mess. We have been fighting witches and enemies since 1960 without anything to show for it because we have been fighting the wrong people. The right people to fight is the government, I hope they wont come for my head but I have said it as it is and God in heaven knows it is the plain truth. May God bless us all and grant us our hearts desires in Jesus name-Amen. Culled from my blog: https://iykbethanygistville.com/2017/12/22/my-sincere-advise-to-my-nigerian-sisters-this-xmas/ |
OPUSDEI1:God bless you, I exposed him in my home town and he cannot come back. The problem is many of our people are too dumb and ignorant |
This guy called Chiedozie Modestus Chilaka is a scammer and big time fraudster, I know him, his mom, dad, sisters etc. I am suprised that he is still operating till now because he has made so much money since 4 years ago, he has a massive mansion in his village plus many properties all over Nigeria. These tricksters are making so much money because Nigeria and black africa is bleeped up. Most people in Africa believe theres an enemy or village people pursuing them so everyone is rushing to herbalist and pastors for solution. I am the only one that thinks differently, I am the only one that doesnt believe in witcraft and all these senseless things. Chiedozie Modestus Chilaka is from Mbaise, but he has opereted in many towns in Imo State and beyond. He is not a catholic priest, the catholic church rejected him, i was in Nigeria when he claimed he was being ordained a priest, you need to see how his boys all bleeped up, they cant even do sign of the cross, the dirty hungry looking boys were all hired to act as alter boys. It was me that exposed this Chiedozie Modestus Chilaka fraudster in my town, since then he cannot come to my town again. My mom atended one of his crusades, he called my mom out, told her you have a son and his name is this, he is not in Nigeria right now, he must see me when he arrives Nigeria because the enemies want to destroy him. Mom being an old woman believed him, but mom calls me Thomans, she knows I dont believe such stupid stories so they used my eldest sister to convince me to allow this idiot into our house since he is coming for prayers, he charges between 50k to 500k to come to your house for libration as he calls it. So I allowed this idiot but told my guy to watch him closely bc i dont trust him. He came in the night, parked his car outside my gate, 2 of his boys were inside my compound with him, 2 were outside behind his car. The idiot told me how my uncle placed a charm on my car, that if i drive that car i will crash and die unless I let him take the car to his house for 7 days prayers, i told him he was lying, I know my uncles are not all good, but I dont believe anyone placed a charm in my car, he said its like i doubt too much, that my uncle Valentine placed a charm in my compound that if i doubt he will dig it out I said well go ahead. It turned out his boys mixed some things in a rubber bucket, wanted to poor the contents into the ground he dug i rushed him and broke the bucket and behold dead lizard and stuffs they wanted to bury in the ground just to convince me that my uncles are after me. If I was stupid like many ignorant people I would be fighting my uncles, this is exactly why many families are in crisis today, they tell you this uncle or that aunty is reason you are not married or not having money bla bla bla. Most of you will believe. Chiedozie Modestus Chilaka has many boys working for him as informants, it is an old trick, only ignorant dumb fools will fall for these tricks. Before he comes to any village his boys will gather names of many families that are having problems, land disputes etc. Once he enters any family he will start telling you who killed your father, you are poor bc this uncle used your destiny. Your name is this, your father died that year, it was this uncle that killed him. As you guys know, when someone dies in Nigeria people always point accusing fingers at someone in the family, so his boys will usually give him the accused persons name so that once he says it everyone will believe him since he is not from your village and doesnt know your family well. He uses all the latest flashy cars. If his village crusade will last for 7 days he will come each day with a different flashy car. These are from the people he told to bring cars for prayers, instead of keeping the cars in his prayer camp he uses these cars to carry women and attend his crusades to make people believe that he has 200 dofferent flashy cars. I have met at least 7 of his victims. Brother Okey is from Mbano, they arrested Chiedozie Modestus Chilaka bc he told one family that it was bro okeys mom that killed that mother which is a total lie. When he was arrested Chiedozie Modestus Chilaka was begging like a baby till they released him. Many families are killing each other today because of this fraudster called Chiedozie Modestus Chilaka. He organizes crusades and uses tricks like these to win more souls, majority of his victims are women bc females are easy to convince. He uses these tricks to convince some politicians, yahoo boys and drug guys. They are the ones that made him rich. Chiedozie Modestus Chilaka was caught life on camera while performing a Fake miracle. He tells the people to look up and not to look at him so that they will not catch his fraud. Anyway Pay attention to 2:20-2:30 minutes section of these youtube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuvYeKKMRtc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EclGVfHsTw0 |
GSteve001:This is great, if young Nigerian could pull their resources together. Thats how its done in other countries, but here everybody is going solo maybe thats why our business dont last long. Anyway how much investment is required? I might be interested but will like to know why you think this business will be profitable. All the best |
This is indeed a welcomed development if it happens. Beoing 777 is what Emirates use on the Lagos-Dubai route. I prefer to fly direct to London and not through Dubai via Emirates or AirFrance via Paris. |
LOLASPICES:Sir it's very easy. Go to the Vietnam embassy in wherever you are and apply. |
1. You can decieve some people sometimes but not everyone all the time. 2. Most of your drivers are illitertes and dont give a Bleep about the people they carry. 3. I am not a detractor, I own no transport company and have nothing to gain if your business is closed. 4. Dont take every advise like this as a persoinal attack, treat all customer complains with utmost seriousness. 5. I have used your buses coupla times and stoped using it 4years ago and I WARNED my friends and relatives never to use Peace Mass. 5. Most of your buses do not have speed limiters, the drivers are not trained, you know their stupidity and arrogance once you try telling them to reduce their speed. 6. Few years ago I tried to find out why most of your drivers are arrogant and was told you dont own most of your buses, anyone can buy a bus, bring a driver from only god kows where and the bus is painted peace mass without training the drivers. 7. If we start putting every of your accident on the internet you will be shut down in a short time. Every advise I give is for you to improve and not allow your ignorant drivers kill innocent people. 8. Walk into God is Good motors and see how to run a company. That guy is not from my village, I dont even know who owns that company but hey they are currently the best transport company in Nigeria. If you doubt me, board any buss from east going to Lagos and see for yourself. I travelled from lagos to Owerri last month with God is Good motors, their drivers are educated, very careful, inteligent and DO NOT go beyond 90/kph. But with your company its 140 or 160/kph and when you complain they rudely ask you if they are going to sleep on the road. The best transport company used to be ABC Transport with their educated//experienced/well dressed drivers and brand new buses, God I dont know what happened to that man. Eventhough his drivers are still good but it seems he swore never to use a brand new buses again. Travelling with ABC these days means spending days on the road because the buses must break down several times before you reach Lagos. I am saying the truth, and its not to spoil una businesses, but rather so you guys can improve. Good luck and pls train ans retrain ALL your DRIVERS. Most of your drivers are bus conductors turned drivers overnight, its a SHAME. YOU are not the only transport company in Nigeria, please check the last time and which year ABC transport is involved in an accident. Its because of that singular reason that most people still use ABC even though most of their big buses these days are old and outdated. |
