Dear all, Coronavirus is in Nigeria for real so please be very careful and apply wisdom and caution in everything you do.

Some people claim the Italian man story is fake, their reason is that our government wants to steal billions that's why they cooked up the story.

But as far as I know our politicians have been looting our commonwealth since 1970 till date and they dont even need coronavirus to steal. It is estimated that malaria and typhoid kills more people in Nigeria than HIV/AIDS. The good thing is that there is a vaccine for typhoid that gives you protection against Typhiod fever for at least 5 years or more.

This vaccine costs only 5k naira but surprisingly Nigerian doctors and nurses will never advise you to take this life saving vaccination and I WANT TO KNOW WHY?

I have lots of friends who are Muslims, Buddhists and even Hindu and we get along well. My bible didn't tell me to hate on anyone because of their religion or race. I am a Christian and I love God but if you choose to worship monkey or snake that's your own problem. Just like I am straight, but that doesn't mean I should hate someone because he or she is gay or lesbian. I HATE NO ONE, not even perceived enemies.

Most muslims are good and wonderful people, but in every race or religion there are ass holes like Boko Haram.

Let's use Rochas as an example. Rochas did not construct any single road that lasted up to 2 years in Imo State. Yet his works commissioner and all the engineers and contractors were all CHRISTIANS. So as you can see, Muslim is NOT our problem.

If I were a governor or president I will recruit the best brains and technocrats only. All my appointments will be based on merit and qualifications. But sadly there are not many people like this in Nigeria. What we have are mostly visionless and empty headed religious bigots.

For me rhe best candidate for becoming developed countries in Africa are:

Mauritius: Reports say Mauritius is more democratic and free than some Western countries and is considered an upper middle income economy. Though, Mauritius is tiny. Some reports even considered the island as a city for statistical analysis accuracy. Mauritians have an average wealth per inhabitant (not GDP per capita) around $32.000, highest in Africa and attracts more and more investors notably Indians.

Seychelles: is just 0.003 point to enter the very high human development countries club with an HDI of 0.797 in 2017. Seychellois have the highest GDP per capita of any country in Africa and are relatively highly educated thanks to the small size of its population. Fishing and tourism are the main drivers of the seychellois economy and the wealth is not equally distributed.

Tunisia: is actually one of my favorite candidates. Tunisia has good infrastructures and is classified as highly developed by UNDP human development indices and indicators statistical update 2018. Its economy is not dependent on natural resources like other African countries and has relatively good institutions and universities.

Algeria: is third among African countries when using the HDI mesures. Algeria exports food to African and European countries and benefits from relatively huge investment from european car manufacturing companies.

South Africa: has the most diversified economy of the continent and is home to the largest stock exchange of the continent, also one of the largest in the world, the Johannesburg Stock exchange worths more than 1 trillion dollars. The South African Rand is one of the twenty most used currencies in international trade worldwide. But actually South Africa's economic development is hindered by bad governance and increasing inequality.

Botswana: is also risen as one of the most prosperous and less corrupted countries in Africa and has widely accepted culture of democracy. Botswana has the third or fourth highest GDP per capita in Africa. But as South Africa, the country suffers from a high inequality of wealth and is also dependent on Diamond, nevertheless policies are being implemented to diversify the economy.

Libya: is recovering from the Arab spring and is making that very fast. The country has the highest GDP growth in the world with more than 50% annual growth but still the GDP is below 2011 performances. Libya has a small population for huge natural resources, if well managed and planned Libya can easily become the Norway of Africa.

Morocco, the fourth wealthiest country after South Africa, Egypt and Nigeria (net wealth not GDP) home to a booming financial hub in Casablanca,

Cape Verde and its stable but growing economy,

Ghana who is expected to eradicate extreme poverty by 2030,

Egypt and its relatively prestigious universities and scholars,

Rwanda and it's daring policies like integrating the OECD or building the best universities in the world, vertiginous indicators growth,

Namibia and its political stability, high HDI and good urban planning policies

Guys, do you know that Criticising criminals, prostitutes, yahoo boys, kidnappers etc wont stop them from doing what they do. Instead of criticizing them and DO NOTHING we should rather find a way to help them as much as we can. I will use prostitutes popularly known as RUNS GIRLS in Nigeria as an example. Most girls doing runs or prostitution are doing it bc of poverty, i used to insult them till i came close to some of them.


What i do these days is counsel them and help the ones i could. i also advise them to save money and learn a trade instead of wasting their money on expensive phones, brazilian hair, bags etc. Today some of these girls have acquired skills and now owners of beauty salons, fashion houses, boutiques, event planners etc. Yeah i am aware that some girls cant stop whoring no matter what we do but majority of Nigerian prostitutes are ready to quit if given better options. 
 
Same thing is applicable to yahoo boys, kidnappers etc. Many armed robbers and kidnappers are univerity graduates who got tired of looking for jobs. I am not in any way supporting bad boys but truth of the matter is that frustration can lead one to do anything to survive. In my village boys of 12 years are already doing drugs, from doing drugs they could join sectret cults and start stealing, then before you know it they can join robbery gangs. I go round the schools to consel boys about the dangers of drug abuse and cultism, but that was not enough. Then few years ago i started a footbal competion and discovered that most of these boys are doing drugs and crime bc of frustration. If you give them the opportunity to play footbal which is their talent they wont even have time to do drugs or cime. i am not rich but i have made iykbethany footbal competion an annual event and it costs me lots of money to host each tournament. So far some of these boys are now being recognized within my state. As i write now some are about travelling to Turkey, Croatia, Serbia etc for footbal trials. My dream is to see some of these guys plan professional footbal in Europe. I dont support crime of any type but i am not part of those that criticize and do nothing.
 
SOLUTON: is jobs creation. The government will do their job by providng jobs while we the citizens should do our part by helping each other instead of criticizing people and do nothing. I am not saying you shouldnt criticize a criminal or prostitute, but if you like talk from now till tomorrow prostitution will not stop unless we provide jobs for most of these girls.

kidnapping is on the rise because of high poverty rate, even if you build prison in every village hungry and frustrated youths will still engage in crime. So we have to supoort these poor boys as i am sure it will go along way in reducing crime. Shalom

The typhoid vaccine doesn't guarantee immunity as compared to other vaccines and also it requires regular booster shots.
A much better means of preventing typhoid is good hygiene, proper hand washing techniques and potable water.
