Iykbethany pls I am looking to go somewhere for baby things and have been asking around which is better Turkey or any other place? Some one advised Vietnam.

The problem is that I live in Lagos and coming to Abuja is a bit hard for me. Is there any other way aside coming to Abuja?
Both Vietnam and Turkey are good for baby things. This is a decision you will make by yourself so you dont blame anybody later.
Vietnam quality is better than Turkey, and its way cheaper in Vietnam as well. Vietnam offers the highest quality products at the cheapest rates.

sparklerii:
hello, please is it possible to get an agent to buy goods for you or online in Turkey.
I have people I can refer you to in Turkey but believe me it is always better to see what you are ordering. Those clothes or shoes you see on line or via Skype/viber may not look nice in real life. Buy what you are seeing physically...

Instead of buying clothes or shoes online, it is much better to buy from Onitsha direct from importers and wholesalers. Thats how i started my business before i started traveling abroad.

Hello i don't understand why i should send you email? What for?
If any Nairalander need any info or assistance about Vietnam, Turkey or Cambodia just ask me here, I am here to help anybody that needs my help. My email is on my profile, i don't have to write it here to avoid unnecessary spam. Just check my profile or my signature you will see my email address.

Please remember that I am NOT a visa agent, I only give free advise/assistance to people that need my assistance. I have good contacts in these countries for shippers, wholesalers, distributors, cargo companies, manufacturers, agents, brokers etc.

I just realized that so many Nigerians are evil minded. I have helped many Naralanders get visa to Vietnam, I don't charge any money or commission, I just give free help since i have the opportunity to help.

Before you get the visa someone who owns a big company in Vietnam will use his company documents to process the visa for you, all you will bring is your passport copy only. No interview or visa questions asked. Within 5 days of applying you get the visa at Vietnam embassy in Abuja. All my Vietnam contact wants is for you to use his cargo company to ship your goods to Nigeria since it was him that got the visa for you. His charge is same fare every shipper charge per kilo to ship clothes/items to Nigeria. My people, you wont believe once some of these cowards get the visa they change their number and you wont hear from them again. Meanwhile when they need this visa they call and disturb me daily. My friend in Vietnam is not ready to assist these kinds of people. Besides, its risky giving visa assistance to someone you met on the internet, coz they could be drug carriers. if you are caught with drugs in Vietnam you will die in prison, and the person who applied visa for you will have his company closed and properties confiscated.

Let the best candidate win, am not ready to die for any politician bc they are all the same. Anybody that thinks any politician is coming to change anything is only deceiving himself. These guys only need us now that they want our votes, once in power they dont care.

The only thing they are coming to change is the fortunes of their families and cronies... Again, let the best candidate win.
Science/TechnologyAny Solution To Poor GSM Network In The Villages? by iykbethany(op): 11:03am On Mar 22, 2015
The GSM network in my village has been very poor for sometime now. We have MTN, Glo and Airtel but none is reliable. Glo gsm and internet services used to be somewhat ok in the village but since December 2014 Glo internet no longer works in the village, seems their masts has packed up or something.

For several months now I cannot make or receive calls whenever I am in my village house, especially in the bedrooms. To make call I have to come outside of my gate. What if there's an emergency in the night, do I have to come outside of my gate to make calls? I am not alone in this, so many compounds in my kindred face this same problem. The only people that are not affected are people living close to the market square where the GSM masts are located.

I want to know if there's any antenna or software that I can install in my compound that will improve my GSM network signal and also to browse the internet? Since this is election period one needs unrestricted access to information 247. I believe that if the GSM signal in my compound is improved then I will be able to browse the internet. For now I cant browse in the village, to use the internet i have to drive all the way to owerri or Akabo which I wouldn't want to do during this election period.

Technicians and technologists in the house over to you. Is there any solution to this problem? Is there any antenna or software I can buy to solve this problem? I wouldn't mind paying an expert to handle this. Mods, please help me push this on the front page for I believe I am not alone in this.

I have Schengen visa valid and my wife have mexico visa just recently issued. We both want to travel for vacation to turkey for 10 days. My question: do they still accept Schengen visa and mexico visa for the Evisa stated on their website. Thanks.
The answer to your question is YES both for the Schengen visa and Mexico visa and other OECD countries. I was in Turkey late last year so I know.
But there is a catch. YOU MUST FLY WITH TURKISH AIRWAYS...

Please do a Google search or check Turkish airlines website for more info...

TravelRe: Why Are Phones Etc. Switched Off In Flights But Not In Movies by iykbethany(m): 6:21am On Mar 11, 2015
There is no scientific proof to back up the claim that phones interfere with plane navigational systems.

Also, its impossible to make everyone switch off their phones while on-board. What I noticed is some people will do while some people don't care. Unless you search everyone's bags/pockets its impossible make everyone switch off their phone during flight.

As a matter of fact some airlines have started allowing people to use their internet after TAKE OFF

TravelRe: Straight Talk:a Nigeria Passport Or Iranian Passport, Which One Would You Choose by iykbethany(m): 6:02am On Mar 11, 2015
Its Nigeria passport all the way.
Why would anyone choose Iranian passport over Nigerian passport?

A friend visited his galfriend in Iran, when he returned to Europe he was questioned as if he had gone to Iran to learn suicide mission etc.

Having Iran visa or stamp on your passport alone will attract lots of scrutiny at western airports.

I have lost count of countries I have been to and I never have any issues with being a Nigerian or using Nigerian passport.

please Mr Iykbethany thanks for the info.....whats the best flight to travel with to Cambodia? was trying to book online via Ethiopian air but found out they don't have phnom pen listed on their list. please its urgent.
Go to ET office to book your flight to Cambodia.
ET does not fly to Cambodia but they have code-share agreement with Thai Air. The last ET flight will stop in Bangkok and continues to Hong Kong, then Thai Air will take you to Phnom Pen which is 40 minutes from Bangkok.

PoliticsRe: Amaechi Threatens Mass Protest Against Poll Shift by iykbethany(m): 2:53pm On Feb 07, 2015
I told people last month that the election might be postponed but none listened to me.
Anyway this is not time for threat, Amaechi should take things easy jare.
I am one of the millions of the undecided voters, APC and PDP should use this period to tell people like me why I should vote for them.
APC can use this 1 or 2 months delay to their own advantage instead of threat.

APC if you believe you can win the elections why worry for just 1 or 2 months delay? As for me no member of my family is in politics so I dont really care who wins, let the best candidate win, chikena..

As for the ignorant ones that will protest, abeg before you protest make sure the people calling for protest will come with their own children. i wont protest if your children are chilling in mansions in Europe. Only ignorant people will be deceived.
CelebritiesRe: Dbanj Is Not Broke: 10 Differences Between Dbanj & Donjazzy by iykbethany(m): 2:16pm On Feb 07, 2015
dmyke:
I like D'banj well enough, but that doesn't mean I should hate Don Jazzy, or swallow the nonsense you have written here. Let me address some of your rubbish:

1. Family background. What has family background got to do with anything. How does D'Prince being Don Jazzy's half-brother (different dads) affect D'banj or Don Jazzy? The next thing we'll hear is that Dj Cuppy is the best Dj in Nigeria cos of her family background. Smh.

2. Mo'hits ownership. This is a non starter. Where has Don Jazzy claimed that he "owned" Mo'hits? You say it was a "50-50" partnership, and then you also claim that D'banj "was everything and controlled the label". Haba. Choose one na.

3. Generosity. This is just African mentality (or poor man mentality). Because Don Jazzy doesn't buy a car for his brother, he's a stingy man? D'banj buys some cars for his friends and he becomes "arguably the most generous artiste in Africa"? Na wa oh. You want to know what real generosity is? After the split, this is what Don Jazzy said: "And to end d old era, I will be donating the proceeds of my production catalogue from day one till date to five charity organizations. Thanks. IDJA". That's generosity. And since you're fixated on cars, we all heard the gist that Don Jazzy gave Dr Sid a Land Cruiser as a wedding gift. You mention the new Mavins recruits. Does anyone doubt that Don Jazzy has been a blessing to their lives?

4. Business sense. Don Jazzy is first and foremost a businessman. D'banj is an entertainer. I wonder how anyone can claim D'banj is more of a businessman than Don Jazzy. Don Jazzy has a degree in Business Management for crying out loud. Do you know that Don Jazzy has even ventured into the most profitable business in Nigeria: oil and gas, with his "Mavin Energy" company? Everybody remembers a couple of years ago when Don Jazzy became the first Nigerian to get a bottle of the world's most expensive champagne ($2m). You say there are many music producers and D'banj can simply employ any one. My brother, there is only one Don Jazzy. How many D'banj songs have become household hits in Naija since the split? I honestly can't think of any.

5. Endorsement. D'banj is doing quite well for himself. No doubt about that. But Forbes Africa rated Don Jazzy as the second most bankable star in Africa (only behind Akon). What more can I say?

6. Foundation. D'banj is to be commended for this. Though, see number 3 above.

7. Influence. Now this is just ridiculous. Not sure you even understand the meaning of the word. Don Jazzy is easily the most influential figure in the Nigerian music scene right now. Being seen with a couple of foreigners doesn't make you influential. Don Jazzy was recently rated as one of the most influential Africans alongside the likes of Dangote. And no, D'banj didn't make the list.

8. Diversification. D'banj is more of an entertainer than Don Jazzy. Don Jazzy is a much better producer (not sure D'banj even produces). They've both diversified well into other ventures.

9. Concerts. You claim Mavins have no concert til date, yet they toured the UK a few months ago with their "Mavin UK concert". Open your eyes.

10. Humility. This doesn't deserve any response.

Don't get me wrong. I like D'banj, and I wish they would work together again (just imagine the Koko master on a track like Dorobucci!). Apparently, D'banj also wishes the same (if he can pay the Don enough).

Nobody should try to rubbish Don Baba Jay!
THIS IS CALLED TKO (TECHNICAL KNOCK OUT)
Hats off mate, you killed it.
CelebritiesRe: Dbanj Is Not Broke: 10 Differences Between Dbanj & Donjazzy by iykbethany(m): 6:52pm On Feb 06, 2015
Its ok to support whoever you like but stop talking nonsense.

Dbanj is not rich compared to American stars that went broke. I repeat, there are countless millionaires that cant pay house rents today, so spare us the lies.

I have no idea whether Banj is really broke or not since I am not his bankers. Besides, its none of my business, what can i possibly gain from their wealth or downfall? I loved them as partners but since they broke up for whatever reasons they have moved on their separate ways, no need to for these useless banj/jazzy threads. They are both rich dudes, they are both celebraties, they aint sharing their wealth with us so why bother us with their problems?

Anybody who says banj cant be broke is ignorant. Our very own Emmanuel Babayero comes to mind. What about Tyson? There are so many instances. I can give you list of at least 20 American stars that are very broke today, so again i repeat, banj can be broke. Even Dangote can go broke tomorrow coz no condition is permanent. The only thing that is constant in life is change.

It doesn't mean anything to take selfies/photos with Bill gates, dangote etc. Taking photos with billionaires doesnt mean you are doing well or not doing well. few months ago i took photos with Diego Costa and several chelsea players in London, does that mean anything? Did that add any kobo to my bank balance? I dont even understand why people talk about banj taking photos with Dangote etc as if its a big deal.

Whether banj is broke or not is another story for another day, but hey Banj is owing his landlord and should pay. Abi na lie say landlord took banj to court recently?

You said Jazzy is stingy while Banj is generous, but when was the last time you heard banj donated money to a cause? Forget registration a charity organization oo bc its one of the ways people use to launder money. Last year our very own music producer was seriously down with kidney problem, many stars donated including Jazzy, why didnt your rich banj donate even 5 kobo yet you claim he is rich and generous?
