Same here. The VO kept Rejecting People because of travel history. This is a very irrelevant reason for Visa denial. Common there is always a first time. I was rejected too with my wife and baby. Immediately in answered his first question. Every other thing I was saying he didn’t listen, he didn’t even look at my docs

You drop you own thoughts and move, whoever wants to argue should do research before coming for you lol….Anyways who ever Dey find cheap good school should apply to colleges n unis in Minnesota “Minnesota state uni, St. Cloud state, Metro state and other state owned schools, scholarship/funding or not, the state pays half of your tuition “Excluding uni of Minnesota”

2021 FOREIGN POST GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
INTRODUCTION

As part of our Human Resource Development Initiatives, the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is embarking on Foreign Post Graduate Scholarship Programme to equip Niger Deltans with relevant training and skills for effective participation in the local content proramme of the current administration as well as compete globally in various professional disciplines. The scheme is for suitably qualified applicants, with relevant Bachelor’s Degrees from recognized Universities in the following professional disciplines:

1. Agricultural Sciences

2. Engineering

3. Environmental Sciences

4. Geosciences

5. Information Technology

6. Law

7. Management Sciences

8. Medicine

9. Education

10. Humanities

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess the following:


1. First Degree with minimum of 2nd Class-Lower division for those wishing to undertake a Master’s Programme.

1B. The Program is for MSC only.

2. Applicants must have gained admission for a Post Graduate Programme in any of the listed disciplines above, in a Foreign University.

3. Applicants who have already enrolled in overseas’ Universities are NOT eligible to apply.

4. Guarantor’s written consent of good conduct of the applicant from any of the following persons from the applicant’s Community/Clan.


a) Member of National Assembly/State House of Assembly
Chairman of LGA
First Class Traditional ruler
High Court Judge

5. Persons with evidence of cult membership or criminal record shall not be considered.

6. Applicants must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

MODE OF APPLICATION

1. Application must be made on-line at the Commission’s website: (www.nddc.gov.ng) with the following attachments:

· Recent passport photograph

· Local Government Identification Letter

· Post Graduate admission letter from a recognized Overseas University.

· Relevant degrees from recognized Universities.

· NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.

2. Successfully complete application form will be assigned a registration number automatically.

3. Print the hard copy of the on-line generated acknowledgement for ease of reference.

4. All shortlisted applicants will be posted on NDDC website (www.nddc.gov.ng)

All completed applications must be submitted 20 days from the date of publication.


NOTE:

The Commission (NDDC) will not enter into any form of Communication with candidates who were not shortlisted for the Computer Based Test (CBT), those who were not invited for oral interview or candidates that were not successful during the oral interviews.

Preferences will be given to candidates from Oil Producing Host/Communities/Local Government Areas as long as candidates meet the approved cut off mark.

The Commission will ensure a fair spread of courses amongst beneficiaries within each State.

Deferment, Change of Institution and Course are not permitted.

The Commission reserves the sole and absolute discretion to select in line with the above stated criteria and its internal consideration. The decision of the Commission in this regard is final.

My estimated date of completion was last month. Still pending. Tried calling them. No response. Sent an email. Nothing yet.

Have you tried calling them? I called them and I received an update the next day. I have been given an estimated date of completion now.

My advice to you is this. Enrol. When I applied for NNPC GT, I got admission to do my masters. I did not defer it because of NNPC. Whilst waiting for NNPC APL, I did not stop applying for jobs. Today, I have finished my course work in school with just project left. I also got a job offer with one of the ministries few weeks ago and I have resumed. So..... Start/Enrol, time waits for no one. Merry Christmas and a Happy new year in advance.

NNPC should just close out this recruitment once and for all. The new year is at hand. They should let us know how to align our plans for the year.
My number one priority for the new year is to put in for ICAN.... And for the benefits attached, I have to notify my current employer if I'm to enjoy those fringe study benefits.
The main issue now is that, should I notify my employer, I'll be bonded with them for two years.
What will pain me the most is NNPC telling me Congratulations after I might have enrolled.
Or should I just wait till July diet b4 starting?
