First hand info: From my source who is close to the GMD, APL notifications were to be sent since the 11th of September but was deferred for a month due some new developments in administration, new evidence of slotting ghost-names, and the consequent legislative bottlenecks that followed. Apparently, the 9th of september and 4th of october guys heard rightly but sand had been poured into our garri.

He said that APL release is on hold for now based on the intensity of the legislative bottlenecks and the need to do a proper investigation. Some RMAFC goons are also in conflict with some members of the house who have very high interest in the recruitment but he could not tell me what the conflict was really about because they were just inferred speculations.

This problem is not only with NNPC, but has cascaded into other governmental recruitment processes like the Police, Customs and CBN (whose recruitment has been underground for a while).

My source concluded based on his perception of the current circumstances that the recruitment is unofficially on hold indefinately but will be officially made open to the public soon. We should forget about NNPC for now as it might either be cancelled or re-opened around maybe the first quarter of next year...say March/April depending on the outcome of the investigations.

Pls, don't misquote me... Did I mention slot? The recruitment is based on whom you know and how the person can help you strive to get your APL. Once you are invited for an interview and your connection is strong your appointment letter is sure irrespective of what you scored during interview but candidates from presidency, National Assembly and Ministers doesn't need interview is automatic and also applicable to some stakeholder. The interview is for reference and to fulfill all righteousness that the recruitment is transparent but due process not followed.

Please what are the chances for an Agriculture graduate in this recruitment?

not at all. I knew my cbt score before the release, i knew my interview score through the manager of the dept i applied. My interview was very perfect to the fact that, the chairman was asking me why should i quit my job with all the soundness and pleasure derived within? While, i am not here to convince you rather, to say, your hope for majority failure will never work. I am 70% hoping to reject nnpc.

Hello @ TONYHOPKINS. Thank you for your feedback. Please i don't know if the post above is applicable to me. Though i am from Lagos and stated the NIM Certification on my CV, it was not submitted with the others during the interview. I only included the ICAN because that was what was uploaded during the application process. However, i had my interview on the Saturday 6/7/19 and not Monday 8/7/19. Kindly advise because i meet 2 out of the 3 parameters. In fact, i have been following the thread in ghost mode though i registered with Nairaland a few years ago and i had to do a password reset to make this post. I will appreciate any advice given by you and the esteemed house. Best Regards and expecting your responses. I hail all the Local Men and Women hereby represented.
