Ordinarily, Peter Obi has a very slim chance of ever becoming the president of Nigeria. Even the slim chance has now been completely destroyed by the Obidient movement. That 3billion even tho it sound too big is just 3.8m each per 774 local government for the validation of the list.

I agree it sound suspicious as almost 4m shouldn’t be used to validate list with a LG but judging from the fact that they have to employ hands in going across the wards and also the addition that civil servants will add, I don’t see anything wrong in the idea.

Obi would rather not do any intervention and instead invest the money in a library that will take another 2 years to complete while the poor starve.

You are asking the wrong question. You should be asking the government to explain how the 3 billion was spent and what were we able to achieve after it was spent. This is a country of over 200 million people with a good percent living below poverty line, 3 billion is not a huge amount to spend on getting accurate data.

I don't agree with Obi on this. I don't have a problem with the amount spent on verifying the social register, what we should be concerned about is if the money was used judiciously for the purpose, people can't read books when the stomach is empty.
