Politics / An Appropriate Time For Rewriting Nigeria’s History by iynoble(m): 8:48pm On Oct 12, 2020
Fellow Nigerian Youth,
I must commend our courage to dislodge the brutality of some members of the NPF.
For me, the issue isn’t just about a call to end SARS or a call to end police brutality, but it should also be a call to end “political brutality” which is evident in the incompetence and abuse of power of elected government.
Truly, the youth have displayed great bravery in the last few days, during the call for #endsars.
However, we must realize that that’s just an “atom in a molecule”.
What about poverty that has pummeled the country as a result of misguided economic policies or “No economic policies at all”??
I believe strongly, that unpleasant experiences in the country, which have so much degenerated to this state, is a result of the “cause-effect relationship” .
Poor educational system, poor health facilities, rising Inflation, severe poverty, widespread corruption, high rate of unemployment, and lack of proper infrastructure are all effects of misdirection of the political administration.
Until this point, we had perpetually waited for so long, managing horrific situations and hoping for a miracle to happen whilst we folded our hands, forgetting that faith without “work” is in vain.
Day after day, my fear for my future as well as the future of my “unborn children-children” intensifies, as the government has continually displayed gross incompetence in ensuring sustainable development in the country.
We are our own savior as God has given us the power to act on our faith. No matter the amount of prayers we make, we still need to work on our faith.
It is high time we stopped feeling comfortable in this “cinema”.
The government we have employed must begin to be greatly held accountable for every single life she was employed to secure in the country.
Above all, just as we have begun to take steps, we must also begin to renew our minds and own our future collectively.
If we truly want a better Nigeria, we must act differently by taking the bull by the horn. Together, we can be better versions of our heros-past and make Nigeria great again in the near future.
I’m earnestly looking forward to living in a country that has all the key values: 1. Value for Life 2. Value for money and, 3. Value for value.
God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria .

Politics / The Only Way Nigeria Can Move Forward by iynoble(m): 2:32pm On Oct 23, 2018
Excerpts from Ayokunle Awosoga:

We only have one BASIC problem in Nigeria. The problem is “Rule of Law”. All other problems are resultant effects of the basic problem. Until the basic problem is fixed, Nigeria is going nowhere (it’s not a curse).

Elections are fast-approaching-

In the midst of confusion about who is right to “Lead Us”, individual’s ideas and promises by folks clamouring for offices will be similar.

How do you know who to pick?

Answer: VALUES (ETHICS)

A value system is meant to be that driving force for those ideas and promises.

One fundamental theory I formulated is to imagine your house being infested by rats, you have 3 options:
1. Proactively kill these rats
2. Set a trap
3. Live with it
While the first 2 options can be productive, the 3rd option is definitely counterproductive. In Nigeria, we’ve been doing option 3 (wallowing in our mediocre). If we are scared to do number 1, then the best option is number 2.

What is just required for number 2 is to elect the people with the right values in offices.

Our mission is to build a New Nigeria not just to win elections and 2019 is definitely not the bus stop. I can assure you that 2019 will actually begin this process with or without Political Offices. Israel did not get to the Promised Land in 1 day.

I dream of a time when generations to come will sing “The labor of our heroes past shall never be in vain” with a difference.

So the message is not just “Get your PVC”, it’s to make an “Informed Decision”. We need to sensitize every nook and cranny of this great country.

Remember, it’s only a SLAVE that doesn’t have a CHOICE

Therefore;

-Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, while others might free the body, none but ourselves can only free the mind. -Marcus Garvey.

Cheers to a New Nigeria that will soon unfold.

-I pledge to Nigeria my country...

Sports / Shocking Revelation About The Pig's Prediction Of Nigeria's Match With Argentina by iynoble(m): 8:06am On Jun 18, 2018
Excerpt from Ayokunle Awosoga:

Piggy jokes apart! I feel it’s time for us as a Nation to stop laughing at our mediocrity. We need events that will occur in this Nation that will prompt the celebration of our professionalism.

The result of this World Cup will be consequential to a very poor Nigerian System - A system that wouldn’t identify not to talk of developing young brilliant talents. Even most High schools in the country lack the basic sporting amenities that are needed.

I remember asking myself of the possibility of ever playing at the NBA Games if this young lad called “Victor Ladipo” was raised in Nigeria. Asides this young lad, there are also many other discovered young talented Nigerians in Diaspora. The entirety of the discovery is attributed to an effective national system they find themselves in.

As we sang our national anthem in front of the whole world, I pondered on the discussion I had with 4 young teenagers about that part of the song that says “The labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain”. I asked them to mention at least 5 past heroes they can ever think of and they were dumb for some seconds. I then asked them to mention just two and still got no response. At last I said one, and someone managed to mumble the name MKO Abiola.

-If possible, I challenge you also to mention the past heroes you know of.

I’ve gotten tired of comments like “God will help us” or “God will deliver us” after pondering on situations affecting this country with fellow Nigerians. With utmost sincerity, it is time to HELP OURSELVES. Faith without work is dead!

Even God said:

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land”.

A simple mathematical analysis of the verse above using the AND logical operation means that for “Healing of land” to be possible(TRUE), the combination of “Humility AND Prayer AND Turning away from wicked ways” must occur. “Turning from wicked ways” simply indicates Elements of Work.

Therefore, there is a place for Grace, and there is a place for Professionalism. “There is a clear difference between God prosper the works of my hands, and God please do my work for me”.

Enough of said prayers in religious places, we’ve done so much of that. It’s time to work and this work involves every one of us.

Elections are just by the corner, please get your PVC and tell everyone around you to do the same. Please, I take God Beg you, ensure you make an informed decision when you cast your vote. Remember that the goal is to have the set of people with the right values in governance. Making an informed decision just involves each and every one of us to do our adequate research on each candidate and the party. Is that too much to do?

P.S: How can we push for a Presidential National Debate in Nigeria?

P.S.S: We still need to get our hands on the black apple-eating pig.
