wintersnow: The question sounded quite normal to me....and beside I asked her in a playful polite way... boss its not normal and no matter the way you present it, it's still the same. Lemme ask you this : why do you want to know the price? Why do you care about it so much that you were in a hurry to ask? The fact is, the gift my appear cheap or whatever but you don't know what she passed through to get it. You should even be grateful that you have a gal that remember your birthday and still come with a gift. The best you can have out there is a gal that will call you on your birthday just because she wants to remind you of the outing you promised her. Ask all those ladies wey turn your SA here how they celebrate their bf last birthday. |

That's bad guy. You shouldn't have asked that question. It would have been better to ask where she get the money if you think the gift is too expensive for her to afford and certainly not that day and that moment.
Forget whatever they are advising you here. It's a gift not an errand. At you should appreciate her. Forget the fact that you do buy her gifts too. She's your gal. What if she didn't buy you nothing or worse she no visit, you die?
Abeg text that babe and tell her how sorry you are before God answer another guy prayer. |

Morning, Lemme just add this; one thing you need most is confidence. Try not to stutter and please be audible. Also never say anything you can't defend especially during presentation and interview. And the almighty question "tell us about yourself" is your way to paradise or hell. please manage it well.
Note: it's more of smartness test (ma opinion). |

Tigris007:
Saw this while scheming through the 2013 thread.
Alright people, quick one...
FBN is very very very very very strict when it comes to documentation and certificate verification.
If there are disparities or discrepancies in your names or other detail, then I think you should get them fixed before documentation, because successful documentation and certificate verification is the key to medicals. But if there are issues with your documents then its a no no for FBN, they will not continue with your candidacy and you'll have to wait till the next recruitment process, then u re-apply and g through the headache of reading, preparing, HBP for result etc..... u know what I am talking about.
So make hay now as FBN focuses on your WAEC Certificates because it carries your real DOB, and if you want to use NECO, make sure U go with your real NECO certificate that has your DOB, then twill pass. But truly FBN prefers WAEC, but you might be lucky if you go with NECO and pull through. All U need is Prayers. FBN just want to be sure of your age. dats all.... shikena!!!
Remember, even if you lie your way through to get into the Bank, you might not last, as FBN does Background check yearly on all her over 15,000 staff. Then you will be asked to voluntarily resign if you are found wanting or forced out. But for the new people coming in, you will be fished out during confirmation period (after you've worked and earned the Armed robber salary for 6months or more). For confirmation, you will have to undergo another documentation/certificate verification process, and FBN will request for a letter of recommendation which will have to be sent to FBN from your primary school, secondary, university, referee, guarantors and other professional bodies, before you are certified and confirmed as full FBN staff. FBN goes as far as sending spies to your home location to ask your neighbours about your kind of person, if you are a trouble-maker or trouble-shooter(peacemaker or someone who settles problems), and if you are well behaved and of good character, they ask this also from your previous place of work and get recommendations before finally confirming your appointment. (E no go easy)
My people, there are more to this than we think, so if you know your ways aint right, and your documents aint complete or you have forged your age and other details. You better forget FBN now and move on , that trying to try your luck and when the hammer falls on you, U say FBN is wicked and heartless, then U say ur enemies are at work and U begin go night vigil dey cast and bind. Now you got an Insight, be wise.
If you have any correction or verification to make in your school, WAEC/NECO, workplace etc, now is the time before you are called for documentation, even if you dont use it for FBN, there are other equal recruiters that will do the same as FBN.
I wish everyone the best, and success.... hoping to hear about your success stories and invitation for personality test(if any)
Cheers Abeg hope say dem no go ask for primary sch cert. |

mayoor15: 2013 thread remains the best FBN thread ever, this one is just full of hypocrites, anyways, what's my own, AC is just about how smart and adaptable you are to various situations not how much information you gathered before the AC. Imagine an interviewer asking you 5 questions at the same time and expect you to answer all, you are going for about 7 tests in about 4 hours with little or no time to think through anything cos time is going, even FBN isn't looking for only the best in all aspect but someone that will be above average in all aspect and note the FBN people don't like to much talk, so if you are going there to talk and talk and talk because you can talk, you are on your own. We should all stop these accusations and counter accusations and focus our energy on better things, no one is under obligation to talk and besides if you made it this far without any help, what makes you think you can't scale through the AC. ...boss u b carpenter? You just nailed it wallahi |

Lol...so you expect us to belive this. First, you attacked people sharing information to help others. Then you claim to havent done your ac. Later you decided to tell the truth. Now you claim to help FIVE people! Haba!!! Na pipu like u dey carry umbrella com exam hall come cover ur exam paper. No just give urself HBP. cloud9usher: Look here, if basic and elementary comprehension is your problem you need to go back to primary and brush it up.
My disgust at the elusive manner at which we handle salary issues was a general outlook at the entire issue and you can read where I kept on stating- "we Nigerians," I wasn't directing anything directly to the AY guy. And you claim facts about salaries are online if you research, dude or miss, those are basically assumptions and usual guesswork.
Its annoying that in my country salary is a guesswork when developed countries have gone past that stage, and yet we want to develop.

Mannylex: They are employed just same way other bankers are recruited, not by FG (however, its a FG parastatal) My dad worked there for over 20 years and got in at the time where you didn't really have to know anyone..... However nowadays, it's really tough getting in as, you must be really connected to even hear about the recruitment as it's hardly ever advertised to the public. Nevertheless, you must be really qualified to bag the job. The pay is also very mouthwatering Thanks bro. |
