An Anglican Church Pastor in Ado-Ekiti has been sentenced to five years imprisonment for raping a five-year-old girl. Pastor Gabriel Asateru was reportedly sentenced by a High Court sitting in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State. It was gathered that the cleric took to his heels after defiling the young girl before he was arrested and transferred to the Criminal Investigations Department(CID) section of the police headquarters in Ado Ekiti. The BBNaija Saturday parties have become a great deal to look forward to, especially because of the ‘hot pepper’ the housemates usually serve during and after it’s over. This week’s party met Nigerians’ expectations as after the housemates finished grooving and enjoying the awesome music provided by DJ Sose, an altercation broke out between Seyi and Ike. From what was observed, Seyi had been previously angry because according to him, someone invaded his space. After being advised by Tacha, he proceeded to the kitchen to cook noodles for a select number of people. Not long after, Mercy went into the kitchen to get dinner which was beans and yam, for herself and her partner in the house, Ike. When she tried to take more than the required pieces of meat she needed, Seyi confronted her and Mercy, who seemed to not want any trouble, returned the meat and apologized.
