ORGANIC TREATMENT OF NEWCASTLE DISEASE
New castle disease is a very contagious viral disease that has the capacity to wipe off the whole flock within 48-72 hrs if not taken care of because it's air borne.It's very important to isolate the affected birds as soon as the symptoms are observed to prevent spreading of the disease. It's a 50/50 treatment, but over the years organic method of treatment has proved to give 80% effectiveness.
SYMPTOMS OF NEW CASTLE
- Lost of appetite,
- Coughing,
- Gasping for air,
- Ruffled feathers and drooping wings
- head circling
- dragging of legs
- Twisting of neck, head
- Greenish diarrhoea
- milky discharge from nose and eyes
ORGANIC TREATMENT
Herbs and spices
- Tagiri (Xmas melon)
- Aloe vera (50g)
- Cayenne pepper (43g)

PROCEDURE
- Measure all the herbs and spices correctly
- Peel the Xmas melon
- Chop/ slice your peeled Tagiri and soak in 2 ltr of water, cover in an airtight container and allow to ferment for at least 5 days.
- After the fermentation, remove the chopped Tagiri from fermented water, strain the fermented water
- Pour the fermented Tagiri water, aloe vera gel and Cayenne pepper into a container
- Stir and mix together and serve.
- After they finish drinking the herbs, serve them clean water
- serve the herbs into water in the morning and evening, follow by clean water when they finish respectively.
- Repeat the process for 5 days.

1) Only order for birds you can conveniently take care, Instead of stocking 500 birds and then struggle to feed them or give them medication, buy 200 ,feed and give them good medication.Trust me, you'll make more profit than keeping 500 and struggling to feed them.

2)Be vigilant
The little things matters, if you want to succeed you must take it as a real business, Never ignore warning signals you observe in your poultry farm for example Foul odour, Withdrawal from feed, Moodiness, withdrawal from water, if you at cautious of these signs, you'll easily spot when something is not right with your birds

3)Clean Water Provision For Your Birds.
Your birds can survive 48 hours without feed but they can't survive 7 hours without water.Ensure your birds never run out of clean fresh water to prevent her stress.

4)Know there is 4 different types of broiler breeds or more we have Ross308,Cobb500,Arbor Acre, Marshall, they have different advantages and disadvantages so ensure to find out the breeds your supplier is giving you before you buy.

5)There are different reasons Birds don't grow uniformly, it could be due to The feed you are giving them, You didn't brood the birds well, you do not follow strict Medication schedule.

6)The best way to sell is to ensure you find different public market where you can take your birds when they are ready for sell, use your Facebook, Instagram, and whatsapp to advertise your broilers when they are ready for sale.

7)Ensure you provide constant heat and antibiotics for your birds in the first 5days of their brooding,ensure feeds are provided available for them day and night.

Feeding Alone covers 75% of the total capital you will need to run a poultry farm, you will need a good feeding schedule to follow and and also have in mind the precise time your birds should be sold to prevent your birds from eating from the profits you should be making.

9)Feeding Your broilers Only starters all through is not advisable even though it will make them gain weight faster in shorter period of time, it can make their feet weak to carry their weights, paralysis and also cause other internal problems.

10)The best drugs to get for your day old birds are Amoxyl col, Embazin Forte, Enrofloxacin, Thylodox Extra.Also Never skip their first gumboro and lasota vaccine.
