SCAMMERS!!!!!! BEWARE

After completing payment yesterday I was guaranteed of getting my consignment yesterday 7:30 pm.... I called the driver( Theophilus Ekpenyond, name appeared as Chikun on True Caller )severally he didn't pick. I called the Olam Agent he asked I called back. Only for me to call the driver one hour later he was lamenting his vehicle broke down at Gwarzo and he he doesn't have money to pay the mechanic. I asked for his account number 8112719477 Eco Bank I sent 10k to him he calmed he didn't see it for over an hour. The mechanic sent his account number which I sent another 10k to him. 5 mins after confirmation of the 10k the driver refused picking his calls, agents number was switched off. I have called the driver, Olam Agent and the so called mechanic over 20times no is answering. I decided to save the driver and mechanic number only to find out it's carrying the same name on Watsapp and different picture. Please help me report this page Olam Chikun & Ultima Feeds . They are fraudster these are their phone numbers 08165662079, 09031611355, 08167021330, 08069921855.

*WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR BIRDS ARRIVE*

Good day my people, when we are planing to
Order your birds,
After preparing our premises and sit in wait for some days for our chicks to arrive, they are finally here. Now when they come, we have to do some little more exercise just as we did when we were expecting them. *Below are some activities for that day*:

1)Check for symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, watery eyes, laboured breathing, diarrhoea and pasty butt. This is very essential as it makes you know the complete health condition of your chicks.

2)Provide water before food. In doing this, you should make sure their drinkers are clean and disinfected. Check if they look tired and if they are, add glucose or vitaflash to their drinking water. This is to give them energy. To make sure they drink the water, dip their beaks in it one after another so as telling them “water is around”. When done with water, give them food.

3)Look around and make sure your environment is clean. No rats, cats and snakes

4)Implement bio security. Dedicate a clean shoe or boot to be used only inside the brooder and also limit visitors.
Set up a quarantine area where infected chicks are kept for treatment before sent back to the general brooder.

5)Keep litter clean and very dry. Do a perfect cleaning and disinfection of your brooder every 6-8 weeks and also disinfect the surrounding.

6)Your brooder should be very airy but not cold. Treat them like human beings. If you feel heat visit them and let them have fresh air as well but if you feel cold, run to them and let them feel heat. Their temperature system is same like yours.

*WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR BIRDS ARRIVE*

Good day my people, when we are planing to
Order your birds,
After preparing our premises and sit in wait for some days for our chicks to arrive, they are finally here. Now when they come, we have to do some little more exercise just as we did when we were expecting them. *Below are some activities for that day*:

1)Check for symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, watery eyes, laboured breathing, diarrhoea and pasty butt. This is very essential as it makes you know the complete health condition of your chicks.

2)Provide water before food. In doing this, you should make sure their drinkers are clean and disinfected. Check if they look tired and if they are, add glucose or vitaflash to their drinking water. This is to give them energy. To make sure they drink the water, dip their beaks in it one after another so as telling them “water is around”. When done with water, give them food.

3)Look around and make sure your environment is clean. No rats, cats and snakes

4)Implement bio security. Dedicate a clean shoe or boot to be used only inside the brooder and also limit visitors.
Set up a quarantine area where infected chicks are kept for treatment before sent back to the general brooder.

5)Keep litter clean and very dry. Do a perfect cleaning and disinfection of your brooder every 6-8 weeks and also disinfect the surrounding.

6)Your brooder should be very airy but not cold. Treat them like human beings. If you feel heat visit them and let them have fresh air as well but if you feel cold, run to them and let them feel heat. Their temperature system is same like yours.

*HOW TO MINIMIZE THE MONEY YOU SPEND ON DRUGS AND HOW TO ACHIEVE ZERO MORTALITY WHEN RASING BOTH DAY OLD CHICKS AND WEEKS OLD BIRDS.*

Many Broller farmers are using deep litter system to raise their birds why very few uses Battery Cages (iron suspension cage)
to raise their Broilers. And I think so many people believe that the battery cages is only meant for Layers and that's why they have not chosen to use it for raising both their day old and weeks old broilers.

Battery cages system Also known as (iron suspension cage) when used to raise Broilers is very advantageous over deep litter system because the issue of Diseases such as COCCIDIOSIS and CRD that manifest themselves in wet and dirty environment has already been dealt with.

Since most of the diseases that attacks birds needs watery,moist,wet and dirty litter to manifest themselves, they won’t be able to appear in battery cage system
because the birds droppings which is the diseases house falls below the cages and also any water that can make diseases show up doesn’t stay in the cages but drains immediately below the cages.

In battery cage systems the occurence of Coccidiosis, fowl cholera and CRD is very low and this will also help farmers to save the money spent on drugs and
medications.

When you make use of battery cages their is increased hygiene because the poops and birds no longer stay on the same floor because the poops always fal under the cages. And this lower the incidence of diseases thats transferred through droppings.

The birds will also gain weight faster because they are within confined space and so, the nutrients and energy used to move up and down will be converted to fat in their bodies, and this will help them to add weights faster than when raised in deep litter system.

There is ease of management when birds are raised in battery cages because its very easy to clean and wash the cages

There is no litter packing problems in battery cage system because the droppings fall under the cages where it can be easily packed and can be easily disposed off.
