*7 METHODS THAT WILL HELP YOU SELL MORE BROILERS THIS SEASON, ONLY IF YOU WILL APPLY THEM.*

1. Target a Market Larger than Your Supply
In selling your broiler chickens, you need a fairly large market. I mean, don’t start counting the number of members in your community or church group and thing they will all buy. You should target a market that is big enough, such that even if 1-5% of them buy your product, things would have moved.

2)Be unique among other broilers farmers who are your competitor.
What are you adding to your birds that will make customers desire you more than others that are selling the same birds like you ? You need to look for ways to convince your customers to choose you for example Are your chickens bigger ? Are they very clean? Do you offer delivery? Do you slaughter and dress?

3)Bulk Sales is the Magic of Selling Broiler Chickens
Yes! Bulk sales can be very rewarding. First, with bulk sales, you get to sell all your chickens faster and you can start raising another batch.However, one thing you should know about bulk sales is that birds go at a lesser per/unit price. This is because people who buy in bulk are re-sellers to restaurants.

4)Use What's app And Facebook to Sell Your Broiler Chickens More.
Thanks to technology, you can join farmers groups on Facebook, Telegram and market your product. You can post the photos of your birds ready for sell on your WhatsApp status update and Instagram.

5.Start Advertising your birds even before you buy DOC And before you start Brooding.
Don’t wait until the rush hour. One thing you should know is that human beings are the most unstable in thinking. This minute, they are thinking to buy, and the next minute, they have even forgotten about the product. This is why you need to start advertising early and continue to do it consistently.Sometimes, you just have to be aggressive at it.

6. Market and Sell Chickens to Cool Rooms And Frozen Foods Suppliers
In marketing your chickens, a lot of factors should be considered. And this is where nearness to your target market comes into play. Even if you don’t have any frozen foods store near you, they can come for your chickens and buy them from your farm.One of the advantages of this method is that the processing plant can buy any quantity of chickens you have to sell.

7. Using Middle Men or Brokers
Almost every business has middle men across its value chain. People that connect the buyer to the seller. They exist in the poultry sector too. In fact, they run most of the business activities and they take most of the gain, which is why I don’t like using them. But they have their own advantages.They will help you sell your birds faster when you use them.

*DO YOU KNOW NOILERS ARE RAISED FOR MEAT AND EGG LAYING? THEY CONSUME LESS FEED AND ARE HIGHLY PROFITABLE.*

Noilers are those birds you see with different colors of feathers they don't have a particular color you can use to recognize them. Their body form resembles Cockerels and their males grow tall so much more than other poultry birds.

Noilers are the breed that was gotten after mating Broilers with Noilers. And that's why they add meat almost like Broilers and are rugged, resistant to diseases, and have sweetmeats like Cockerels.

NOILERS' MALES ARE GOOD FOR MEAT PRODUCTION WHY THEIR FEMALES ARE GOOD FOR EGG LAYING. So if you are looking for dual-purpose birds or you want both Egg and meat from your poultry birds, you should go for Noilers.
Noilers' meat is not the same as broiler meats, because they have sweeter and tougher meats than Broilers.

Noilers are also strong and resistant to heat and hot weather, so they don't get affected by them.

If you are also considering raising birds in your compound and also like free-range birds, Noilers are very good birds when it comes to free-ranging because of their resistance to diseases than other birds, they can eat and survive on your leftover food and still maintain their body weights.

After 5Months the females start laying eggs and their eggs can be used for food consumption or you can decide to mate the males with the females and take the eggs laid after mating to hatcheries to hatch the eggs and you can also give the eggs to local hens to hatch their eggs for you. Because Noilers cannot hatch their eggs.

Noiler meat yield per bird is also greater than that of
cockerel; males weigh approximately 3.5 kg (7.7 lb.) and females about 2.5 kg (5.5
lb.).
However, Noiler chickens eat more than other breeds but they are good converters of feeds

The female Noilers could commence laying from
the age of 20 weeks but have in mind that they can not produce as many eggs as the original pullet layers do and they also can't lay for long as pullet layers do.

A female noiler can produce around 150 – 170 eggs per year, however, it cannot be compared to
real pullets in terms of egg production. So, if you are only interested in eggproduction, do not buy Noiler, instead, go for Isa brown pullets.

THERE ARE REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT JUST BUY ANY BROILERS BREED BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE BUYING IT. PEOPLE BUY BROILERS BASED ON DIFFERENT REASONS. SOME BUY BIRDS THAT GROWS FASTER AND SELL THEM OFF FOR 4WEEKS, SOME BUY OTHER TYPE OF BROILER BREED BECAUSE THEY GROW TALLER AND ARE EASIER TO SELL OFF. SOME BUY BROILERS BASED ON THE TYPE OF TEMPERATURE AND WEATHER CONDITIONS BECAUSE THERE ARE BROILERS THAT ARE STRONGER AGAINST COLD AND SOME ARE STRONGER AGAINST HEAT.

Am going to be talking about the 4 best types of broiler breed we have in Nigeria and the hatchery that produces them, the advantages they have over themselves and you get to know which you should go for when you are ready to start poultry farming.

The 4 best Broilers are
1)ROSS 308.
2)COBB 500.
3)ARBOR ACRE.
4)MARSHALL.

1)ROSS 308.
The Ross 308, they don't grow very tall and are always short but very fat, they can withstand cold but they hate heat.Ross 308 grows faster than other broilers breed. They have a good conversion ratio and are more suitable to be raised for 4-6weeks and then sell them off. they can weigh up to 2.5kg at 5WEEKS of age. The hatcheries that produce them include SAYED AND AGRITED HATCHERY.

2)COBB 500.
Not as fast-growing as the Ross 308, but they grow taller than Ross 308. They can’t withstand cold and often sneeze and contact chronic respiratory diseases(CRD) easily even when they are still a day old chick. They are also strongly resistant to heat more than Ross 308. And more agile and resistant to diseases.
Hatcheries that produce COBB 500 include ZARTECH, OLAM, CASCADA, AND NPG.

3)ARBOR ACRE.
They are more similar to Ross 308 and can weigh up to 2.7kg At 6 weeks of age, they have an average daily weight gain of 93 g and an average daily weight gain of 79g at 8 weeks of age under good conditions. They are also more resistant to diseases.
Hatcheries that produce ARBOR ACRE ARE AMO, CHI, AND FIDAN.

4)MARSHALL
The only disadvantage is that Marshall doesn’t grow up fast like the other breeds do but they are the broilers that grow the tallest among the broilers breed. And they are more required during the celebration period because of their physical appearance. They can stay up to 12 weeks before you can start marketing to sell them.

*New POS Scamming Method*

Be careful, fraudsters have taken over POS business. There is a new POS machine. Scammers are using it to scam innocent people . it’s called wallet POS. It’s not from the bank; it is a cloned POS machine. It has a memory card in it that copies your details once u enter your pin. It will store all your information and you can’t trace the transaction because the POS machine, was not issued by any bank.

Don’t ever patronize road side POS vendors that do not have a stand or permanent shop where he or she stays. This is Christmas season and Yahoo guys have brought in these POS machines to dupe people of their hard earn money. Be careful and vigilant.

*HOW TO RETRIEVE YOUR MONEY AFTER YOUR WRONG TRANSFER*

*Please read carefully and learn.*

*Many people don't always know what to do, so today I am sharing with you things you should do when you realize a page you paid for a service or goods is ghosting you:*

*1. Write out the Full name and account number of the page or person.*

*2. Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you made the payment (via mobile app or text) copy out the "TRANSACTION ID NUMBER".*

*3. Go to any branch of the scam artist's bank (the bank you transferred to), ask to see the CUSTOMER SERVICE in charge of FRAUD.*

*While you are there, send an email to SCAMMER'S* *BANK or the d bank you wrongly paid to and copy CBN FRAUD DESK* *(anticorruptionunit@cbn.gov.ng)* *and also cpd* *@cbn* *gov.ng*
& *contactcbn@cbn.gov.ng, this will ginger the bank to take it up fast.*

*What should you expect from this?*
*The culprit/suspects account will be PLACED ON HOLD. His/her BVN will be blocked permanently. No account will ever be opened neither will he/she be able to transact banking business in that name until he clears himself/herself with the bank.*

*Meaning, he/she cannot transfer or withdraw until they visit the bank, and when they do, the bank will contact the police and the suspect when proven guilty will sign a waiver allowing the bank to refund your money.*
