Hell is a deterrent . Dogs in houses are used a deterrents . Do people threaten you by keeping dogs for security reasons ?
Another event of spiritual significance . They did not literally drink Jesus' blood and ate his body .

Bro this Valentine's day , show some love which is , according to your belief , an evolutionary need that had to be developed because humans needed to show affection to one another
Totally makes sense I can show you some good christian love this valentine. I could sacrifice your son for the sins of mankind Just as how God so loved the whole world and sacrificed Jesus for us I could create a burning furnace to threaten you so that you couldnt reject my unconditional love just as God created hell for us to love him back with obedience I could introduce you to cannibalism just as Jesus decided to throw a lovely farewell party for his disciples with his body and blood as the main course of the dinner. |

FTBOY: the emboldened is what most people don't know about her.......she has always been a troll Many nairalanders do not visit other sections and so, do not know the full story. Ishitlove is one of the biggest e-agberos of nairaland. She even had a gang one time. Take for instance the religion section- she was a well known derailer and an empty vessel. She derailed threads with her crew by talking about love/dating etc while ignoring the topics at hand. I know her history from day one. She knows why I will never support her. She derailed a non-christian thread (she is a christian) and got away with it because one of her friends was a mod at the time. Her mod friend went to ban me instead. The end result was that my ban was reversed and the mod resigned later out of guilt- but ishitlove escaped being banned. This whole controversy was well known in the religion section. Till today, many of her christian friends in the religion section do not even relate with her. This was all before she became a supermod. What insult did she not throw on me and her other e-enemies on the religion section and yet she wasnt banned? Here is a very good proof/summary of the incident; https://www.nairaland.com/1498542/seun-mukina-please-address-incompetent#19192590From the day she became a mod, I knew that she would implode. This was someone who was foul-mouthed and biased to the core. Thank God it is not only me saying that she liked to be biased in banning when her friends have e-arguments with others; she would ban the others but leave her friends to be free despite the fact that they either started it or were involved in it as well. |

KingEbukasBlog: Haha because its the most advanced country in the world ? Atheists always trying to correlate disbelief in God with progress/advancement . Norway just rubbed it in your face . Norway are rooted in Christianity and are the most advanced - that's a fact .
Anyway , why do you like comparing me to Mr. Anony every single time . Who is/was he ? The number of Norwegian atheists now equals those who believe in God for the first time since a key survey began, in a sign of increasing secularization in the once god-fearing nation.
In this year’s survey by Ipsos MMI, 38 percent of those asked about their faith said they were atheists, the exact same share of the sample who said that they were believers. Only 24 percent said they were uncertain http://www.thelocal.no/20150331/atheists-equal-believers-in-norway-for-first-timeAnony was the best christian debater on this forum......which means that he was a good religious apologist....which means he was great at twisting, great at throwing strawmen, great at dodging and great at being dubious in his defense of the christian faith |

KingEbukasBlog: Norway is the most developed country in the world and she is very religious LIES. According to the most recent Eurobarometer Poll of 2010,[6] 22% of Norwegian citizens responded that "they believe there is a God". 44% answered that "they believe there is some sort of spirit or life force". 29% answered that "they do not believe there is any sort of spirit, God, or life force". 5% answered that they "do not know". Phil Zuckerman, an Associate Professor of Sociology at Pitzer College, estimates atheism rates in Norway as ranging from 31 to 72%, based on various studies.[7] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Norway |

Ishilove: The only reason why I am coming back here is to clarify this bullshit once and for all.
My so-called prudishness and self-righteous morality has nothing to with fucktoto's ban. There is a standing rule against offensive usernames which the forum owner was trying to enforce. Fucktoto, born2fuck and other allied usernames fall under this category. born2fuck was changed to born2boink, and the ones that could not be changed were put out of commission.
Usernames like BlackPeni5, bushyanus, fucktoto, bushyanus, hairyvaJina, bigvajina etc all fell under the hammer.
This is the last time I will be dignifying accusations of bias and 'self righteousness' with a response. 1) You came back to this thread after you claimed that you were unfollowing 2) I notice how you avoided the other claims of bias in banning to only focus on Fucktoto which is still biased as we all know that it is not the full story. |

TheSonOfMark: I'd be honest. There were times when _Ishilove took time out to caution me before and explain to me after a ban via email. I'd give her that much credit.
The only(?) glitch was that she was seemingly sexist and a closet feminist who let her sentiments get the better of her, most times. Like when she banned Funlord for a dispute instigated by Nneka123.
When squabbles between feminists and non-feminists occurred, the non-feminists were always getting the stick. She was the Guardian Angel of feminists. They openly boasted that anyone who countered their assertions would be banned by her and _RoyalRoy. It's no coincidence that her known e-friends are known feminists/misandrists. This is interesting and ironic given that Ishilove herself has some few anti-feminist stances. For instance she doesnt truly believe in marrying from a different tribe (especially when the parents are agaisnt it). Not so progressive (edited to remove religion) |

paulGrundy: Seems you are ignorant of nigeria's laws, let me intimate you with it.
Section 101 of the Nigerian Constitution provides:
“The Government of the Federation or of a State shall
not adopt any religion as State Religion.”
Hence nigeria is not a secular state. What is sharia? Doesn't sharia law make the constitution obsolete? Furthermore, a law is only good when it can be enforced. Have we used the constitutional law against any religious infringement on the government? huh? |

Synzu: I beg to differ. Ishi wasn't intimidated but she had a listening ear. I've seen people appeal bans and have them lifted and ishi was the only mod who did that. Compared to the "Abacha's" we have now, she was far better. Sharrap there. Tell me who appealed and I will show you a friend of Ishi. She was an Abacha to the people she did not like. This is why you will find people that praise her and people that hate her. To her friends and clique, she was a nice mod. To her e-enemies, she was wicked and unfair. I can call on ten people right now to testify that she banned them out of spite eg -banning for correcting her -banning for pointing out that she is derailing -banning for arguing against her friend. She was a troll before being a mod and she was still a troll after being a mod. |

Scholar8200: Sure He is.You need to realize that He knows what we get into when we forsake Him. He knows the enemy we expose ourselves to. Imagine Job going into idolatry, God knows the hedge of protection will be broken down and He will do nothing in preventing Job from facing the consequences of his choice!
Yes, see God gives man a long rope but when that is over, judgement takes many shapes! When tyrants like Belshazzar, Antiochus Epiphanes, Nebuchadnezzar, Manasseh, Jeconiah etc all had their chances. Some repented, others waited till it was too late
It was judgement! Israel also lost innocent babies to Egypt, cruelly enslaved innocent Israelites (death on a daily basis will be inevitable) etc
Rather, the message of the Bible is that our sins affect others negatively! This is an example. David killed Uriah hence he reaped judgement from God.
That is why God said, Vengeance is Mine! You have no sense of morality. May your children not be killed for your sins |

A God that hardened Pharoah's heart? A God that killed the first sons of the Egyptians who had nothing to do with the crimes of the parents? A God that killed King David's son to punish King David? |

malvisguy212: Good is not a created thing either. Listen, there is natural evil and moral evil, Moral evil is the sin of rational creatures (angels and men) scripture indicate it, moral Evil came first. Natural evil is a curse brought upon the world because of moral evil. Moral evil exists because humans are free to do either good or bad, it's just that simple. Why does God allowed this to happened ? I mean why does God allowed Evil ?the simple answer to this is, God instills in each of Us the ability to know right from wrong. One of the purpose of God creating us is to CHOSE to Love Him or reject Him. as sentient and free beings it falls on US to choose, not God to dictate, if God dictate for us, then is partial freewill. So evil exist because WE ARE ALLOWED to CHOSE from it, who Allowed us to chose ? GOD. This mean, God is not the author of Evil, we are.
Evil exists because WE choose for it to exist ( we choose by doing what we know to be wrong AND by choosing to be apart from God) load of nonsense. There is no God. Good and evil lies in man's heart |
