Magnoliaa: They don't have women in their lives and they supposedly don't care about women, but any small attention a lady gets like this, from a faceless forum for that matter, their bodies go dey pepper and scratch them.
Awon *******s wishing it was them, and masking their lacks with epistles. Mtcheeeewwwww.
All the based guys made a comment and moved on.
I'm just laughing at how you have made 5 comments that include pain and insults.
Lol same goes for the simp crew. Crying and writing epistles over a simple comment.
budaatum: "Hope" is what I have when I sit on my ass waiting for manna to fall in to my mouth while someone wipes my ass. I usually end up stinky and hungry when ever I "hope".
"Faith", for me, whenever I use it which is very rare, is what I have after I have tested if "mango bark can cure malaria". I will test it so well till I have faith in the knowledge gained.
I am testing you well, to see if you are "anyone". And my faith in you is immense and unwavering.
budaatum: Since the middle easterners did not have the same challenges that Europe had, industrialisation and liberalism might not have been required as such, after all it would be awkward liberalising the limited water resource they had. What Islam did was unite a people facing common challenges so they could surmount those challenges together. It's the same as what the Catholic Church and the Roman Empire it evolved from did, unite Europe under one banner under one book and under one cross to defend itself against it's challenges.
Religion is what we do here, JackBizzle. We state our stories for each other to read and consider, as you've done and as I am doing back to you. We are religionising.
Religion is the use of stories to unite a people despite not being "logical or realistic". The educative part of that "not logical or realistic" religious education (indoctrination, etc), is to make one consider and determine and decide what one is told, hence, "ask and knock and see" with all your (scientific) senses.
By nature, faith does definitely not work against science! Though I must admit that that depends on what you mean by faith, because science not built on faith will definitely not grow a society, is what I think. So please do tell, what you mean by faith?
Well said.
I think we should use two words instead- "hope" and "faith", for clarity.
"Hope" is what scientists have when they test if mango tree bark can cure malaria.
"Faith" for me, whenever I use it, is meant to convey "religious faith- that is, belief without evidence. Especially the supernatural kind.
-They many civilizations/regions- this is true for early Europe. They could learn from different cultures
-Europe was and is also a strategically located continent for trade- it shares boundaries with Asia and the middle east
-They had industrialisation period due to war. The necessity of war created the need for machines, practicality and pragmatism.
-They outgrew christianity. After 100 years plus of war, common sense prevailed for peace.
-Winter. The necessity of surviving winter means you need to know how to build strong and warm houses for shelter. And also create agriculatural systems that help to store/manage food during harsh weather.
Islam, on the other hand, became more influential among the middle easterners rather than give way to industrialization and liberalism. Religion is not logical or realistic. By nature, faith works against science. Without science, a society cannot grow.
budaatum: Can you see how You shoot your own foot when you say the "'Islamic Golden Age' Is Misleading" but "even when it did emerge, it benefitted from...".
Notwithstanding, and with regard to the above,
“If thy Lord had so willed, He could have made mankind One People: but they will not cease to be diverse.” Sura Hood, verse 118
“O mankind! We created you from male and female and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily, the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is he who is the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is fully informed.” Sura Hujurat, verse 13
Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. Deuteronomy 8:3
As Christ would put it, those who read only one book will become malnourished, so you might see how we benefit from learning from Islam, and Christianity, and Zoroastrianism and etc, as it makes us understand each other better and develop and evolve to live in peace.
As is said, Allah is most merciful and and all knowing and immensely wise.
How can anyone take you seriously? You are defending islam by preaching christianity? lol
na your papa be Lily livered or are you brain damaged . I should come here and start fighting over someone's else's review on a movie, shey I look jobless like your papa ni,abi God wan punish you this evening

IbrahimMav: I like to believe that in an alternate world, the Tulsa genocide never happened. Tulsa being the black wallstreet, becomes one of the financial hubs of american economy, Helps the african-american to better their lives and live comparably influential lives like the jews, and also wield considerable influence in American economy and politics.
Sorry to inform you and GloriousGbola, but there are Uncle Toms who deny the Tulsa Massacre. I can't believe that there are people so foolish.
phr0nesis: Everyone has been ranting about Marvel phase four being average or subpar; and I can't really recall any phase being excellent. You all are just judging it based on the standards kept by Infinity War and Endgame.
Phase One Iron man - Good Incredible Hulk - Average Iron Man 2 - Average Thor - Average Captain America - Average Avengers - Excellent
Phase Two Iron Man 2 - Average Thor 2 - Average Captain America 2 - Good Guardians of the Galaxy - Average Avengers 2 - Average Ant Man - Average
Phase Three Captain America 3 - Average Doctor Strange - Average Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - Average Spiderman Homecoming - Average Thor 3 - Average Black Panther - Good Avengers 3 - Excellent Ant Man 2 - Average Avengers 4 - Good Spiderman 2 - Average
While I agree with your overall sentiment, my nigga, did you just call Avengers 2 "average"?
SOZINN: LOL, practically all of what you've said here is debatable. Before I analyze your assertions, let me just state that Shang Chi is a better story than Dr. Strange 2. There isn't a single spot where Dr Strange 2 excels, if we were to aggregate critiques from the wider population across all platforms on the internet. The fact that Dr. Strange made more money than Shang Chi is the only thing that makes it a nominee.
Potential Spoilers Ahead.
1. The graphical prowess of Dr. Strange 2 was just OK. The aesthetics are indicative of Marvel movies. The entirety of what the flick gave us had previously been set up by earlier films. I concur with you that the movie's characters are better, for this reason. The number of multiverse realms actually utilized in the film was quite limited (only four) but Shang Chi featured actual dragons and the MCU's first-ever exposition of Chinese culture.
2. Your assessment of Shang Chi's storyline development surprised me. The action didn't suddenly shift from a thousand years ago to the 21st century. His mother was only telling her version of history. Furthermore, it is only reasonable that the antagonist should be introduced and established in the audience's minds effectively through a plot. How often have we grumbled that fictional antagonists act sinisterly merely for the purpose of doing so? It was well worth the few minutes it took to give us some context on Wenwu. Now that that is out of the way, Shang Chi actually had a pace that was quite convincing.
3. Wanda isn't any worse of a bad guy than Shang Chi's father. Both of them had intrusive thoughts. But let's contrast the two illusions:
I. Wanda's children were created as a result of her reality-warping talents, and even though she was aware that they weren't real, she killed people anyway because she was playing crap. While Wenwu was on a mission to save his wife.
II. Wenwu heard his wife pleading for freedom. Wanda wanted to go to that universe, kill the mother there, and kidnap her children even though she saw those kids getting along fine. Wenwu is attempting to save his wife in this instance as opposed to Wanda seeking to take possession of something that is obviously not hers.
4. Dr. Strange 2 did not even come close to meeting peoples' expectations, whereas Shang Chi did and even exceeded them. Dr. Strange 2 had a great deal of potential and initiated plot lines that would have served as the foundation for other mind-blowing projects, but it failed due to its poor storyline. In the end, all it had were a few moments that were exploited to entice comic book aficionados to the movies.
5. You also mentioned that Shang Chi's father posed no significant danger. However, let me remind you that sending Dr. Strange and Dr. Palmer to a different universe was the worst thing Wanda could do following the strain of trailing them across two universes that they made her endure. While Shang Chi's father murdered his son when the latter claimed his wife wouldn't want to be with a monster. Nevertheless, the white dragon later brought Shang Chi back to consciousness.
6. What is more ludicrous, I'm not sure. Is it the guy questioning the amount of continuity errors in Dr. Strange 2 or you trying to claim that Shang Chi has more plot holes merely because you were able to identify one? Even if I start pointing errors out one by one, this page won't be sufficient to address all that needs to be written on the topic. Since this is already a lengthy post, I'll just conclude it here.
1. Dr Strange MOM graphics is better than that of Shang Chi. MOM's graphics are far above average. The visuals were the selling point of the movie. Let's not tell lies here.
2. Dr Strange MOM is a better paced movie. The characters needed little introduction as they have the benefit of past marvel movies to build them up. Doctor strange was a consistent comedy horror with action throughout.
3. Wanda was more of a threat (as compared to Wenwu). She had already killed a version of doctor strange in another universe in the beginning. Wanda was capable of destruction. She had the means and purpose for it.
4. Lies. People didn't know what to expect from Shang Chi. What percentage of people even read the boring comic? It just came out good.
5. Wanda could kill in any universe while dream walking. She even killed a version of doctor strange without stress.
6. I didn't say that Shang Chi has more plot holes. I said that the central 0lot of Shang Chi is a plot hole. The movie itself is a plot hole. Why would shang Chi's mother leave the medallions with her small children. The medallions that are keys to holding the gate that is keeping the deadliest evil in place. Also why did wen we wait till the children became adults to take the medallions? Or even the spirits wait to whisper to Wenwu?
Phase 4 truly isn't the best, looked like marvel got to a high point and started declining... Wanda vision was nice, but their theater releases have been competition to be more shitty than the last, from black widow to MoM... None of them is exceptional. I hope black panther 2 and Ant-Man 3 is better, I love those.
Wanda's madness in WandaVision did not get to the level of killing dozens of innocent people.
WandaVision is about Wanda going through the five stages of grief and she's tried to bury that grief and hide it instead of accepting it and dealing with it like a normal person should.
Wanda in WandaVision is far more relatable than the nonsense they fed us in MoM.
Go back and watch the finale of WandaVision. She let go of vision and her kids in that finale and moved on.
Fast forward to MoM and MCU ridiculously undid everything they achieved with Wanda in WandaVision.
It seems that you didn't even read what I wrote and just went on your rant against Wanda.
Wanda let go of her kids because she was forced to. Secondly, the kids were not real in Wandavision or her universe.
Doctor strange MOM is a different movie. Wanda realised that she could get real kids from another universe.
Furthermore, death is better than being brain dead for the rest of your life. Someone that can leave you brainwashed and bewitched for the rest of your life can kill you. Did you not consider that?
Wanda killing people is character progression and not character assassination. Her madness progressed just like how a disease left untreated progresses. The dark hold made things even worse.
BlackManta: She started pursuing her kids, same kids that she already let go in WandaVision finale, kids that belong to another woman.....How does this make sense to you
What is the point of WandaVision....
The kids in Wandavision were not real. In Dr Strange MOM, they were real. They were real in another universe.
BlackManta: MoM criminally undermined that show to the point that you start to wonder why they made that show in the first place
Wanda's character journey wasted just like that.
Character progression.
You also seem to forget that Dr Strange is a movie on its own.
Madness left untreated gets worse.
BlackManta: The Darkhold excuse makes this movie much worse.
Darkhold corrupts...bla bla bla
I didn't see Darkhold corrupt anybody in this movie. They only told us that to make up for the lazy writing.
How exactly does the Darkhold corrupt
They didn't show us.
They fed us exposition and you expect me to swallow the hook, line and sinker.
Does the book have a mind of its own Does it control the reader or vice versa Does the book fill your head with evil thoughts Does the book tell you what to do Did the book control Wanda to kill dozens of people or did she do that willingly Does the Darkhold influence its reader to use it, or can the reader use it for his own needs willingly
The dark hold already corrupted a Dr Strange in another universe. The book literally has a mind of its own. It gives the minds eye- the third eye.
BlackManta: When you say Darkhold corrupts...these are the questions you must answer and you answer them and make things clear by showing it in your movie not dumping it inside exposition.
BlackManta: Shang Chi His father His sister His aunt played by Mitchell Yeoh are all good characters and better than characters in MoM.
The fact that you don't even use their character names shows how forgettable the characters are.
Ogbeni, you just want to argue. Doctor strange MOM is not perfect but it is far better than Shang Chi
You have watched too many YouTube complainers and have formed opinions based on their influence. I say this because you are repeating their talking points; - "Marvel phase 4 is weak" - "Wandavision betrays doctor strange" - "Wanda character assassination".
If Doctor strange MOM was released before Avengers, everyone would be giving high praises to the movie. The issue here is that the Avengers movies were the highest of marvel standards and so, everything pales in comparison.
As for Wanda in Wandavision. You can see that Wanda is already mad. Someone that possessed a whole town and would have let the people die in an illusion, if not for outside interference.
How is it character assassination when Wanda is already mad before the dark hold? The dark hold corrupts. It corrupted a version of Doctor strange.
It is pitiful how people's opinions are shaped by dumbass influencers on social media
