searching4lovee:Harsh. But true! I trust my General will not show face at that charade. |
mikkyangel:Well done Mikky. It's actually 66 eyeglasses. But I can only make out 4 items in that pix. Pls find and include the remaining 2 items; - one BB headset, and a gasket set arrived frm UK. Tks Solo |
macpetrus:Land of the blind, deaf, and dumb! People Deceiving People since 1999 |
chocolateme:That Basic Salary is PER ANNUM! Nobody quotes basic salary on a per month basis. It's preposterous to think of govt paying each senator N29m every month! Based on figures presented here, it's probable the total monthly emolument for each senator is around N1.8m, which is quite a lot of money still. That still puts them above UK counterparts, and slightly below US. The more worrying aspect may be their probable "other sources" of incomes they won't want to make known?!! |
And who might be prepared to do something about it? Who WILL bell the cat? Who CAN bell the cat? This matter came up in 2011 presidential debate, and this is what GMB said, "... we shall find a way to persuade them to accept much less". We will. We must. Love Nigeria more than your pecuniary benefits, which are transient. Reject the tyranny of the few over the many, which the present system not only condones but nurtures. North or South, christian or moslem, we are all bound by a common destiny in one nation. Let's determine to salvage our destiny. Vote wisely. |
tumababa:That's a reckless post. Who are u, and how did u come about that estimate? Are you a member of LSM global? |
So, to complain about goods stuck at NAHCO for 8 days is to "rant", or to be a "new kid on the block"? Even when chinos has admitted there's a problem? Maybe u boys think everyone is importing a handful of gsm phones or perfumes! Anyways, let's hope it gets sorted out quickly. |
soe:Yes o! GMB must re-appoint Adesina as Agric Minister. No one else can beat his skill, vigour, creativity and commitment. I trust GMB to do the right thing for Nigeria. |
Hello Chinos, Did everything go as planned on Friday? It would be nice if you're forthcoming with updates. |
Habah! So there will be no end to this campaign of calumny against this poor man? I used to have a lot of respect for this Aribisala man, but this one is too low of you. Firstly, this is a blatant wicked lie. I was about 30 yrs old in 1983, a graduate civil servant, and I followed politics closely. I also knew much about Onu. I am also Ibo. What this man described never took place. For people who might be easily swayed by this kind of slander, just think, if this were true, how come it's just coming to light now for the first time? How come Onu himself never lamented it all these years? Let me also say, as someone who is very familiar with the workings and processes involved in that kind of project, what he just described is impossible, in practical terms, because in the first place Onu would not be a candidate at all without a conscientious diplomatic campaign by his home government to sell him to the outside world. It cannot be a lone ranger effort. It's not Onu as Onu, but Nigeria, that's vying for the position. It shouldn't surprise you if Nigeria failed to clinch that position, no matter how astute Onu might have been, because we weren't exactly a leading light in Africa at that point in time, democracy wise. It was a military junta! It seems there's no murky depth these PDP apologists aren't prepared to slither down to in order to confound the uninformed and gullible against this upright and incorruptible Knight called Buhari. Nigerians, shine your eyes. They say every nation gets the leaders she deserves, but I think we deserve better. Anyway sha a, I am only concerned about my children's future. |
Adebayo KNOWS that there is no "fire of the almighty" to consume anybody. This is "forming". |
tundeayo2020:Nothing religious or spiritual about this - a deranged man swallowed coins, vomited most of them, then the few remaining in his bowels killed him. Perfectly plausible set of events. That shouldn't make anyone "see life from a different perspective". |
Hey Mikky I have urgent stuff in my shopping cart awaiting payment. Please activate ur WhatsApp asap. |
jacksol:I meant their STEWPIDITY |
Rawani:Silence is the best answer to a FOO.L or FOO.LS. Let's all decent and well-meaning Nigerians stop dignifying these cranks with a reaction or reply. Let them stew in their stupid.ity until they are exhausted. |
This is a very incisive perspective and should be given front page status pls. Admin pls do the needful |
victorazy: Am his sycophan!Yeah. I hate his gu.ts 2. Yeye. |
MittPackage: Seun assh0le this is allahgreatestcock that u banned and changed his handle to ibowtoallah@Mittpackage I meant to call a low-life im.beci1e. I am true Chriatian btw |
@Mittpackage u must be a low-life slowpoke to use that kind of language in this forum. Seun why do u people allow this mf to assault our sensibility? On the subject of this post, all decent patriotic nigerians root for Buhari; the rest, like the op, are jittery about the ppossibility of sanity returning to the polity. Religion is irrelevant here. Good governance is the issue. Unfortunately there 're many who dont know the diff |
Very reliable source said he was intercepted inside the premises of one of the agencies. He confessed that his mission was to bomb the place. But what is not clear yet is the location of the bomb itself because what is pictured seems to be the detonator. |
brinell: Abel202, with this kind of your perspective on this thread, honestly we need more of you on Nairaland. We severally complain of our leaders, yet we exhibit even worse attitudes here. Simply because we do not believe in what others believe and what works for them, we just go ahead and condemn beyond measure. Well, if you know how well people's lives have changed for good through Prophet T.B. Joshua and his ministry, you probably wouldn't be attacking him (not that the criticisms have any effect anyway). Some people, however, could be hell-bent on sticking to their old stand even with overwhelming evidence to the contrary. There is so much intolerance in us, yet we all cry and want to move forward. It never occurred to critics of Prophet T.B. Joshua that rather than diminish, the church population is ever growing and bringing more revenue and employment to Lagos State/Nigeria and changing our bad image outside the country.i've been moved to comment by the passion and tenacity with whichyou've tried to portray critics of T.B. Joshua as callous and irresponsible people. Although some people are fond of uncouth language. I'll try to tell you that some critics do it out of a sense of responsibility and concern for societal wellbeing. One truth is, in everything that goes on there will be gainers and loosers. Another thing is this; that a trend or event is popular or has mass following doesn't mean it can't be equally detrimental to society. You talked about the changed lives (your claims). Maybe the problem is no one has done a thorough expose on those changed lives you spoke about. I mean a factual before and after documentary on those lives. Such a report would include doctor's testimonies, patient's background including friends and family etc. I mean mainstream media-quality expose. It's something of such tremendous public interest that a station like Channels would like to cover. The truth is that some of us are just more practical minded than others. You can call it critical rationalism. That's the mentality that keeps the world and society on an even keel, and brings about the the developments you enjoy. Some of us are also aware and are more concerned about a greater majority whose lives have been adversely affected by blind devotion to these pursuits. I know of people who liquidated their assets to go camp out for weeks and months waiting in vain for a miracle at TBJ's or some others' shrine. I don't know of anybody on the other side you referred to. So there are philanthropic deeds, but where did the money come from? From people of course, most of whom could ill afford to give it out. The net effect is the impoverishment of a vast majority. Don't think that people just criticise or run down others for fun or out of malice. Many of us "critics" just want to see a better society, just like you do. I would personally love for miracle healing to be real and true and for TBJ to be genuine, but unfortunately it's not up to me - nor is it up to you the believers. |
I have not tried Jumia but my ongoing experience with Konga rules out that possibility. I ordered two items 10 days ago, paying with debit card (my mistake, with hindsight). They waited one week to tell me that one is out of stock. No mention of my money!!! The second item no information on it. Talking with their customer agents has left me feeling I might have made a big mistake trusting some invisible Nigerians with my money. Please does anyone know how one might recover one's money from Konga? |
Hon. SuQ Ma'DIQ:2 thieves and 1 who can't wait to catch them |
That's a true leader! The only leader in this dispensation who understands the true meaning of public service. For all others it's just about self. But will they heed the advice? Not until one of two of them actually die from that mindless reckless driving. Buhari or BRF for 2015! |
So, who are now supposed to be working at the substations and switch rooms? Old PHCN staff or new private co staff? I ask because there had been a total blackout in my area since yesterday. It's unusual. We used to get at least s few hours at night. Has anyone else experienced the same? |
Why why why, Joyce Nkemakolam! Why accept to commit suicide for another? Now you'll be left caring the bag! You threw ur 30smting yr career away for a f...... politician? I would have said; "the Minister requested those vehicles, and everything that was done in this matter was done in accordance with her wishes and instructions. I was not given a chance to do otherwise". The reason you shoulda said this is because it is the truth, and at a point of reckoning like this you can't afford to lie to ur country. And in the process you might have saved not only your soul but your job as well. |
eddiebruk: If you are sure you normally shut it down before closing the lids, then the Rubber Bumpers/Casing must be pressing the power button too tight thereby turning it on always. You hit the nail on d head. |
jude33084: Airtel is digging their grave I tell youYou may be right. I think the data speed is dropping drastically - at least that',s my experience. After reading so much talk about multi-platforming with Airtel BBS, I went and got the N1.5k 2Gig a few days ago. It "works" on my MTN Fastlink, but it's so slow that each time I click a link, it takes 10 to 20 seconds to make up its mind. Then it unfolds the page at sub-gprs speeds! At this rate, I 'll be surprised if I consume up to 300 Meg before the 30 days is up. Or, does anyone think there's something I could do? The moment I slip my MTN SIM back, I fly circa 5 MBytes/s |
tomclem5: ASUU? Dey need 2 be scrap. Instead of askn 4 dis b4,dey fight 4 dier own selfness nd dis tyme wastn students timeAre you a university student too? |
DID THE AMERICANS RELY ON GOD TO COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN TO TAKE OUT OSAMA FOR THEM? THE ISREALITES THAT IMPORTED XTAINITY THAT YOU ALL FOLLOW HAS ONE OF THE BEST ARMED FORCES IN THE WORLD. I GUESS THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD CANCEL THE NIGERIAN ARMY AND STOP BUYING AMMUNITIONS AND INSTEAD CREATE A PRAYER ARMY ARMED WITH BIBLES AS WEAPONS TO DEFEND THE COUNTRY. LAZY MINDED FOOLS WHO THINK GOD GIVES A DAMN ABOUT THEIR MISERABLE LIVES[/size]
