Not up to 50GB, you may not be able to use the extra 25gb bonus coz the rate of deduction is usually very high.

I can't believe I fell for this cheap scam by MTN, the advert should have made it clear that the bonus is only for 15 days, I just hope it's the bonus that goes first before the main data

So I dialed *121# on MTN and i saw a bonus plan of 50G for N6,000.
I recharged 6k and dialed the code, but to my greatest surprise they gave me 25G for 30 days and a bonus of 25G for 15 days, I feel cheated by this deception from MTN, I no longer want the useless plan again but I don't know how to get my money back, I am posting this here so that fellow Nairalanders don't get scammed too, see attached screenshot and I hope this gets to front page for awareness.

Who told you that loan companies do not pay tax? They are not under any obligation to disclose their offices address to you because their business is operated virtually. Do they telecomm companies disclose the addresses of their call centres yet you call them when you have a problem with your telephone line

All over the world people default on loan repayment, even countries default too. There are ways such cases are treated within the law, these people are criminals, they do not pay tax, they don't have office address, no directors, no registration, illegal interest rate etc

I'm the OP and the person they defamed. I've read the terms and conditions cover to cover (a very long read indeed) and there is nothing like defamation of character written there if one defaults in payment.

Leave the guy, he doesn't know what he's talking about. If you want to defend something or someone, you have to know the facts, the guy does know anything about loan sharks or he's an employee of one

You took the loan, you knew the terms and conditions, you were aware that they would defame your name if you default.. yet you collected their loan and spent the money. The deadline they gave to you passed and you defaulted... Now you came to nairaland to complain, what are we suppose to do? They are a company too and they need to make profits. Unfortunately this is the way they operate to ensure people pay up (though i believe is very bad and a wrong strategy)....if not many people will collect their loan without repayment.

Simply put, you had you self to blame. Thier terms and conditions weren't a secret. You knew that's how they operate...why then are you complaining

Show us evidence of the terms and conditions that includes defaming, since it's no secret show us
