Interesting, i've always been wondering why everyone in Argentina seems to be caucasian while other countries in latin america have a sizeable population of people with african descent. An eye opener indeed! |
The v.c is a joker! This one na awareness, monday protest go be something else. |
So far i have not seen anything impressive about this government. They plunged us into recession telling us they're fighting corruption. Yes you're fighting corruption that's good, but it hasn't changed anything or has they been any fruitful gain for much of the citizenry. Now you're making anti-people policies, making us to pay through our noses for every single thing. There is high rate of inflation with prices of commodities skyrocketing and nobody from the ruling class seems to have any idea on how to address this issues yet the president is busy globetrotting. The latest now is to increase the price of data with which small and medium scale businesses operate with, students use to do their researches and projects (i for one fall into this category) etc. In everyother parts of the world the government makes sure the citizens will pay little to nothing in order to access the internet yet this government wants to bring us back to the medieval age when the world is going towards nanotechnology era and beyond. It's quite unfortunate that we've always taken so much dirt thrown at us for long without confronting it that's why they can wake-up any day and propose any anti-people policy. It's time to stand up and say no to all these rubbish. I have never ranted like this before, but the situation is becoming unbearable and something needs to be done urgently. During the last presidential election we were told how Buhari was a disciplined and corrupt free individual owing to his antecedent when he was the military leader back in the 80's, how he would sanitise the country and boost the economy, bring down pms price and make the naira to be equally appreciable to the dollar. I was at a corner giving my own support for this gentle man with impeccable character by telling people around me even though i didn't vote myself because i hadn't attained the age yet at that time, i guess we were sold a dummy. But come 2019 i must make sure my vote will be one of the votes that will boot out this government, enough said. # SayNoToDataIncr ease # SayNoToBadGover nance #SayNoToTotalitarianism Rbc |
Oh! Not again. Why must u all seek cheap popularity with the Igbo nation, every thread on NL is always Igbo this or Igbo that. Plz just leave them alone! |
There is nothing one won't see on this forum, just because u're ignorant of something doesn't mean u should go all out to stereotype a particular group. So who are all those men we hear on radio always selling herbal drugs, the money changers, the shoe shiners, gatemen, kiosk owners, meat sellers, taxi drivers, corporate business men/women hosting business seminars and other civil servants. I mean i can go on but for the fact u've already concluded, it doesn't really worth it. |
These days it's now a common thing to sight women in the streets carrying banners and placards chanting for a particular politician. My question, is it that these women are really aggrieved? or there are just being gullible, dancing to the tune of politicians who use them as political pawns just for peanuts? What do you think?

It happened to me, i always spoke english when i got into the uni newly 'cus i wasn't fluent with pidgin. I was even tackled for it and each time i will get the sermon that am speaking GST. But now i don dey flow wella wit d guys 'cus am making progress in it now. It's not that they don't know how to speak english but pidgin is more preferential 'cus there are no rules to obey or any room to impress anyone. |
Intelligent and well Educated 419 Corruption Power brokers with so much money Chibok girls Football, atleast S'ans can confirm it! |
U see their life? They just kept us at home not to celebrate with our elders. Anyways congrats to all graduating, we shall get there! |
Are u sure? |
Congrats Tyson. Finally someone beats the Klitchkos, but Fury shouldn't think it's over 'cus I know they will definitely be a rematch or maybe Vitali himself coming out of retirement to take on him. |
@Op u be small mumu o! How can u call that war of words? That is yoruba people having fun among themselves and u could bearly see any Igbo intrusion. That's how people like u go around sowing seed of discord and creating enemity among others, may God help u! |
Sorry, but am not holding you! Which city are you in? |
Don't like, just let it be. |
Hahaha!...i guess am the winner now. |
Made some changes, better now! |
I believe this country can still be salvaged that's why am still a proponent of one Nigeria. Seeing the many intellectual human resource with vast diversity, the abundant resources and incredible landmark achievements waiting to be accomplished still makes me dream, because i have plans for our great nation which wouldn't be achieved if eventually the country is divided! |
Seriously, I share your sentiments and I believe the agitation has gone beyond mere noise making and turning into an ideology. People and friends i know that I thought would never canvass for the division of the country are embracing it whole heartedly as if their lives depends on it. |
A lil bit funny but not funnny in reality, it's a total disgrace! |
Working on my scripts, would be dropping more soon. Stay glued here! |

The Nigerian state depicted in a poetic form, to illucidate the happenings since the takeover of the new administration up till now. Enjoy! The News was awash, massive jubilation and excitements in the air, many gripped in the frenzy that a political milestone has been achieved. Never before had it been so! It rang all over, from the North to the South, to the East and the West, a new dawn for democracy and the change mantra has come forth into fruition. Echoes of congratulations from far and wide paved the airways from the least in the society to the mighty elites, it was a March of victory and a May to behold. Political gladiators pitching tent as none wants the tag of a looser. Power finally clinched from the enemy belongs to everybody but to nobody in particular transcends shivers to the spine of the looters, as they cower for fear of the bars! Opposition woes of an administration without a cabinet and sectional cries of marginalisation coins the term "WAILING-WAILERS" from the creole vocabulary, adding humour to the tensed atmosphere. Though promises are made, orchestrators of terror swinging in vicious cycle with zero tolerance for right to life besiege the Northeast in their romance with suicide bombers ever thirsty for innocent blood thrust with fierce fury. Tensions rising like the tide of the wave swaying itself in the face of agitations from secessionists in the South through a sublime glide to the East and lefthand slide down the West as tempers flare on equity and domination. The national wings flying from the British airspace to making stops at Washington D.C and westward to New Delhi as efforts are made to assemble investors, and with utterances assumed to be calumny from the Head bothering the opposition and the populace. Finally, things are getting tougher and the smiles seems to be fading away, the common wealth is on a fragile state but the resolute and agile nature of the people won't go down without a fight as they believe it's just a matter of time and hopefully it will be a November to remember. Good people, great nation! God bless Nigeria! Plz drop ur commendations or critics in the comment box, thanks! |
The family that controls the world's finances at their finger tips! #incredible |
This is ridiculously too long, damn!...all these ethnicity based threads, i tire 4 una o! |
