@bigmom.Stretchmark is another s**t u hav 2battle wit afta pregnancy.I was lucky not 2hav gotten any on my tommy cos my mum warned me frm d bigining not 2scratch my tommy no matter how badly it itched rather,I shld b rubbin olive oil weneva its itchin me.I only got stretchmark on d butt&lap.D one on d butt has gone totally but d one on d lap just thinned out.U'l b seein d lines of d stretchmark alone but unles u look closely,u won't knw I had stretchmark.
***Well,I mixed palmers cocobutter(d cupcream) wit ori&glycerine oil.But it takes tym 2heal d marks.U just hav 2b patient&as long as u'r losin weight,d stretch mark wil disappear faster but if u'r stil adding I don't knw

zibiah: What a wonderful and educative thread I ve learned so much from it. @ jade willams pls on page 40 of this thread I saw when u posted that ur colleaque was lying down to breast feed and her baby got ear infection, pls do u knw d symptoms of ear infection in babies. @blank u also posted on page 40 dat ur baby had an ear infection pls hw did u detect it what were d symptoms. I ve been lying down to breast feed and am begining to tink dat my baby might ve ear infection too, she is fussy when she wakes up one of her eyes looks swollen altot later in d day its gets normal. Waiting for ur responses tanks

@zibiah.That my collegue is currently on leave&has travelled out of d country so I'm sorry,I can't get al d info 4u frm her.Pls if any mother has experienced d symptoms of ear infection in a baby,pls share/contibute but wot @zinylizzy said is so correct.I only remember sh said her baby was havin ear discharges&nyt fever so sh went 2c d ENT (ear,nose&throat) doctor who told her dat som of her breastmilk was overflowin 2d baby's ear without her knowledge.
Lying down 2breastfeed is not bad cos infancy period can b exhaustin especially if u'r breastfeedin.Just try 2elevate d baby a littl while lyin dwn 2breastfeed.Either wit a pillow or ur upper hand but if ur bosom milk flows 2much,its not advisable 2assume dat position.
It'l b vry advisable 2c ur paediatrician so dat ur fears can b adressed.Goodluck dear

Der is something i usually do. Make una no crucify me ooo, nursing twins no be beans. Some days, when am so stressed, u know what, i feed them wella, come give them appetite enhancing syrup. It will make them sleep for long. Abeg bodi no be firewood.

I went for immunization today for yellow fever n measles, it went well, thank God. Anyways, I realized my baby has not added much from the last time. Imagine she is 9 months and she is just weighing 7.8kg as against 7.5 kg as at 7 months.She doesn't look like she doesn't eat much. I am just worried. I read here sometime, that b.co, or astymin increases appetite. Abeg any advice? She likes dodo a lot, but as she get only 2 teeth for down, na me de chew am give am.

7.8kg at 9mths is not 2bad cos sh's a girl&they hav lighter bones.My girl weighed 8.5kg at 9mths&i was worried too cos d other mothers dat I saw at d immunization centre,their 9mth old were weighin 10kg&so on.Don't panic.Som kids ar light-weighted.d most important thng is 4her 2b healthy ok?

@prettypresh; it depends on wot u cal sunken cos its normal 4baby's fontanelle 2b sunken.U can c d depression&pulsation vry well wit ur eyes.Even a one year,u can c my baby's deep sunk wen I barbed her hair but It closed finally at 18mths so let it not panic u unles there's somthng else u'r unable 2describe.As 4givin ur baby water;if u'r breastfeedin,ur baby is gettin water frm d breastmilk but if u'r givin artificial milk lik @maxiflexi said,u cud mak d water warm&try givin her wit a feedin bottle.Whether does not add or remov anythng frm d baby's nutrition if u'r breastfeedin.As 4ur tommy,keep tyin wearin d girdle or bodymagic or tie wrapper 2b tight on d tommy (didn't do s**t 4me anyways.Inshort u can't even breath) but as long as u'r takin kunu,forget it.Ur tommy wil keep protrudin but wit tym,it'l go dwn.Goodluck

Also, when they receive bad cases, they keep them in a bid to milk them dry of their money. When they realize the patients will die or realize they have mismanaged the patient, they refer to National Hospital because they don't want mortality in their hospitals. So the public erroneously believe National Hospital is the problem.
National Hospital's main problem is the fact that the patient load is much, so the staff are overworked. Patient and relatives fail to realize that fact, so they shout on staff unnecessarily. Overworked staff reply angrily and this is seen as rudeness. However, because of the shortage of staff,mistakes and negligence are bound to happen occasionally with patient at the the receiving end. But if you need to access specialists care, teaching hospitals including National Hospital are the best.

**Peak 123 is good o.Wot I do myself is;wen I go 2buy cereals&milk,I look at nutiontional contents&quantity of wot I'm buyin.I realized dat d calcium,folic acid,iron,protein,vitamin A&&zinc content of peak 123 was low,compared to Nido,complan&other milks so I switched frm Peak 123 to Nido cos I use complan 4her pap&Nido 4her tea&golden morn.So I'l advice u 2rather go 4Nido otherthan peak 123;its stil d same price.U can do ur research on dat too;wen u go 2a supermarkt,tak a tin of both&compare Nido&peak 123&complan milk.My thought though.Pls o.U ppl shld not mind me.I'm 2observant&i hav a curious mind.

U c y I advice ppl 2giv codliver oil.I read an article frm bbchealth cos I follow dem on twitter&they posted somthng abt benefits of codliver oil&i also copied it&posted it on dis health trend.If at 14mths they'r not walkin yet.Its not bad though&since dr said its normal,so there's nothin 2b worried abt cos evry child coms wit its own developmental milestone but as a mother,somtyms u get concerned.I'l advice u 2get cod liver oil (mayb seven seas brand if u can get it);Also,always carry dem less often.Instead,always put them 2stand around d table or bed&keep their toy there 4dem 2try 2reach it.Walker is good.Early mornin sun is good too.Giv lots of milk lik a mother said b4.Its a good source of calcium.Goodluck

veronix: This lyf is funny. Some people are complaining that their baby is pooping too much and I am here complaining that my own baby is not pooping at all. He can stya up to 7 days before doing anything. I went to see the pediatrician and he prescribed cristal suppository. I inserted it since morning yet my boy no gree comot any drop. I don't know what 2 do. The last time, he stayed 4 days. I give him orange in the morning and also enough water yet nothing. I am confused. Some are saying he e. wants to put on weight as if the one he has is not enough already.
Secondly, my wrists are really paining me. As in seriously. It started wen I w.If. as pregnant and it is still paining me reach now. What do I do?
