@omogemi:Thanx a lot&we missed u more.As for d tube tyin,I went 2c my gynae dis mornin&i mentioned 2him abt tyin my tube afta I hav another 2kids&he said i shldn't even think abt it .He said somthng abt kinkin of d tube (there's a way he described it wit a diagram).I get twins&triplets in my gene o.U guys shldn't mind me&d way I think aloud but I rest my case 4now

Cos most babies reject feedin bottle.If its d paed dat recommended dat brand of SMA,I'l advice u go 4it cos sh might hav experimented it on som babies&was well tolerated by them so its ok.If its good 4ur baby,u can com&tel us abt it so dat we'l learn 2.U can giv water (bottled water abeg) esp wen ur baby's havin hiccup or 2hrs afta feed(just a littl lik 10mls so dat he/sh won't throw up then wit tym,u increase).Its harmless.I cudn't do exclusiv for 2mths not 2mention 6mths but EBF wil save u a lot of headache;stress&anxiety evenif u'r resumin work,if u hav steady light,u can express&put in d fridge 4dem 2feed him/her wen he/sh's hungry.Its ur decision darl

Som ppl bleed wen brushin but it depends on how long d blood was there b4 d kids used d brush.I knw dat wen they cam 2talk 2us abt HIV at work,they said d virus can't live outside a host for morethan 15mins so we asked so if a HIV persn uses a razor blade&ther's blood on it&keeps it&somone else coms 2use it d next day,u won't get d virus&they said yes dat d persn won't b infected.So if d help used d brush&sh bled&d kids use d brush immediately,they can get it.D med personells wil tel us better

I enrolled my girl in2 summers sch dis August 2c how sh'l cope cos DH said sh'l wait til sh's 2 b4 goin 2sch.I went there 2pick her up for immunization&d nanny&teacher was deeply asleep though d kids were asleep.Another thng I didn't lik was one of d teachers was breastfeedin her baby infront of d children(don't knw y it bothered me).

missmishel: well done mothers. very educative thread. learning new things from here always. pls mothers that keep babies with day care, pls find time to check on them in the noon time too. my frend went to check on her daughter today around 11:00am, only to found out her baby was on sleeping drug. she couldn't even wake up untill she left. she was so angrey but had no choice cos she was going back to the office. some of these day care use sleping drugs on children and it's very bad.

True.My collegue put her son in creche,sh gav dem a surprice visit one day& caught dem givin her son a syrup.Sh insisted on findin out wot it was&sh found out it was Promethazine (don't knw wot it is though) but sh said its sleepin medicine&sh said sh noticed dat since sh enrolled her son in2 dat creche,he sleeps alot&is kind of slow.Her DH who's in d army nearly burnt dwn dat sch

My baby's not upto 20months but my paed recommended zentel since sh's upto a yr.Sh said I shld b dewormin evry 3mths.How can a dr say u shld wait til ur baby is 2yrs?D 1st tym they dewormed her was wen sh was teethin at 8mths&refused to eat so d paed gav combactrin.

Who said 8.5kg at 8mths + is bad?I hope sh's not teethin though cos wen my girl started teethin at 8mths,sh refused al d food sh used 2eat b4.I'l personally advise u 2giv her Bcomplex but stil confirm wit a dr or nurse sha but Bcomplex syrup is safe.u can giv her 2xs a day.it'l stimulate her apetite.Prepare pap or frisocream or cerelac;put Barley or any children musical 4her 2watch&c how it'l go.goodluck

I think most ppl use it as a method of FP.My cousin doesn't c her period as long as d baby's stil breastfeedin so sh breastfeeds for 2yrs even afta weanin d child.I so wish my body system was lik dat.I'l breastfeed for 4yrs walai cos if u no c period,belle no go happen

I used NAN 2 frm 6mths.SMA gold is also good if u can get d original unles u want 2go for foreign milk lik Aptamil,similac,Emfamil,cow&gate&d rest.
Add soyabeans to ur baby's pap too.Its good 4kids.Do u knw abt 7 seas codliver oil? It helps wit baby's bone.Ask ur peadiatrician abt it.SMy paed advised me 2use it wen my baby was abt 5mths.

Ur boo is lik myn.He said he doesn't want 2feel guilty at d long run so no FP.My gynae explained evry method one by one&d possible side effects.At 1st we agreed on condoms but then he said it kills d fun dat wen he was single,he was condomizin so y wud he stil condomize wen he's married so We settled 4withdrawal too but evrytym,I'l b so scared cos I'l b lik wot if a tiny soldier entered unknowingly?I'l spend hrs in d bathroom cleanin up as if dat can prevent anythng is d soldier found its way in.Then d anxiety of countin days 2my period&s**t.Evry mth,I get so scared.May God help women indeed
