omogemi: this morning o, i saw rash-like stuffs all over my baby. fortunately, the temp. had gone down to almost normal. i called a nurse friend and she said its measles. i am like what the f**k. she said it will soon pass that since she has already taken immunisation @ nine months, it wont b serious.
its quite strange to me that she can have measles. i thought it catches kids when they are older.

Walai babe.U'r not d only one dat experienced ur child havin measles even afta al d vaccinations.I think its common wit measles.My baby had measles in June.Sh has received measles&MMR(measles,mumps&rubella) vaccines stil I don't knw wher dat winsh cam frm.Sh had severe malaria few wks b4&completed her paluther injections o.Then wen sh got better,I breathed down only 4her 2stat runnin fever again lik 4days later.I went 2d paedo&sh said its probably teethin;I shld just b givin ibuprofen 6hrly.Lik 4days after d fever started,com&c rashes al ova her body&face.I fear o;went back 2d paedo.Alas! Sh said it was measles.I was lik 'what the f**k' in ur own terms

My dear,they were monitorin d heartbeat of d baby.I reasoned wit her.If sh does CS,nobody 2tak care of her&d baby.Sh's an orphan&sh only has father inlaw&her only sister inlaw is a banker.Vry busy&sh's not even married so wot does sh knw abt takin care of a baby.I just figured dat if sh ends up in Cs,sh'l hav post delivery depression or High bp.I thank God her faith worked out 4her.

I cudn't leav her lastnyt.Her husbnd was dis close 2cryin 4me 2stay back cos he doesn't knw he was confused.We did agreement prayer;prayed psalm 91;27;35;23&alas,God sent help.D nyt duty midwife did wot sh called sweepin of d perineum (woteva dat means).I gues it was painful cos my frnd screamed eh! But it helped.Then d dr ordered them 2put somthng in d drip.B4 we knew it;c baby's head.Baby boy delivered by 11pm.Although he was weak,they put him on oxygen but now,he's off oxygen.I'v cooked d hot water pepper soup.
