Zombie!! Tinubu said he's fighting corruption by increasing minimum wage. I can't believe I have to educate you his supporters on what he said and didn't say.

Nigeria's highest revenue earner is crude oil that is priced in dollars. So anyone with half a brain will know that dollar value has an effect on revenue in naira terms. Darn!!
He has always said corruption can be reduced by increasing how much more money a civil servant earn, it's not even the highlight of his mission in govt but u mob are so confused u don't even know what to hold onto anymore.

Anyone with a functioning nerve in his brain should know that it's improper to quote national allocations in foreign currency whether you earn crude oil or not, I know u lots always claim to be smart online while your smartness can't get u out of life struggles.

Let's be sincere with ourselves. Telecom increase tariff due to exchange rate, electricity bill increase due to exchange rate.
Those things are not controlled by individuals.
It's a general effect.
We're a consuming nation so dollar with affects us badly
Dollar doesn't affect us to the point where we have to be quoting our national allocations in dollars, it's that simple.

Most things we buy depends on the dollar. Even locally planted food. Hence the inflation we have here
Most of the things we buy depends on dollars because we made it so.
How does a locally planted food that didn't use any foreign agricultural input depend on dollars?
We just like talking about dollars.
The other day a guy came to me while I was with my cousins who returned and told me he wants to make clothes for me to show case his ability, I asked him how much, he's mentioning money in dollars, I don't do that sh!.t, he thinks by mentioning dollar I will think he's sophisticated.
If u ask a Nigerian how much he bought a gadget in Nigeria from a Nigerian, he will start mentioning dollar.

U are all wise, enlightened and well informed the moment you are on phones, tablets and laptops.
A civil servant earning #40,000 when fuel price was #300, if fuel starts selling for #900 and he earns #150,000 is his purchasing power reduced?
If his earning increases to #200,000 is his purchasing power reduced?
U all claim to know too much, I guess everyone was living large when was #10/L.

You will think that states have a lot of money because you saw trillions until you convert it into dollars. Nigeria needs creative leaders to help her create wealth.
Convert the money to dollars and it's still alot of money.
Nigeria need creative people to create wealth in the society, ironically, the average Nigerian thinks he/she is very creative and enlightened, this creativity is only shown in taIking about others and averting responsibility, societal leaders who create wealth span across all ramifications in every society, from political to citizens.
You are talking about converting the naira to dollar, why don't you talk about creative citizens in the dollar society creating wealth too?

What is the value in dollars?

This is just like Tinubu claiming he's fighting corruption with 70k minimum wage when 70k is just $43 from the previous 30k that was about $65

Revenue did not increase. The naira value to dollar fell and they got more naira from same or less dollars

First class accountant indeed

Mtcheew it's even the nation. I won't be surprised if the figures are lies
First and foremost, why should we be talking about our allocation in dollars?
Are we spending dollar here?

Some of u are so confused that every talk must be about dollar.

How is my response to your position irrelevant ,stop being a cowardly yorubaman always embarrassing our tribe and stand by your word. Below is what you posted less than 24 hours ago.
"The average South African will accept an improved life right now in place of a huge stock exchange"
You clearly insinuated that Nigerians enjoy better life than south African with this post but when you have been called out with verifiable statistics that showed you were stupid for posting it, instead of apologizing for your dumbness and move on you are quickly trying to twist the narrative like a typical double mouthed Yoruba coward will always do.
Go and sit down with your fellow urchins and zombies my boy.
I wanted to attribute ur f00Iishness to the Yoruba race but I realized that u are actually not a Yoruba, so I won't insuIt an entire tribe for ur sake.
I was having a discussion with someone and that particular statement clearly showed that South Africans will prefer a better life to having the best stock exchange in Africa, if people who has the best stock exchange will gladly exchange it for a better life, why then should we be chasing stock exchange instead of a better life for our people.
This is exactly the discussion we were having before an iIIitrate jumped in posting statistics that has no correlation with what were discussing even telling me that "you cIearly insinuated that...", you not juts a f00I, u are aIso a stark iIIitrate who doesn't have a functioning bràîn, if u have a functioning bràîn, u wouldn't have typed any of the paragraphs u have typed in the first place.

Indeed what you CLEARLY stated in your entire post is true because PMB NEVER openly supported anybody during the APC Presidential primaries and it is getting annoying to read these crappy articles seeking to demonize Buhari and portray him in bad light. Whatever may have happened in the leadup to that Presidential election in APC should be allowed to slide and create a new beginning in the grand scheme of things because in the global political cycles, you will need foot soldiers and good economic results to win elections and reelectiond. Buhari has said repeatedly that the delegates should decide the outcome of the election.
Tinubu said he asked Buhari to give him the go ahead to chose whoever he wants as his vice.
Both Tinubu and Buhari has repeatedly cleared the air about the relationship between them but there's a group of people who keep pushing the narratives about how Buhari betrayed Tinubu, this talks made Buhari display his ballot paper after casting his votes, Tinubu took his certificate of return down to Daura to greet Buhari, they have maintained good relationship since then, yet these noise makers will never rest.

Actually, Dangotee also employs based on connections from higher tops. Like I said, connection matters in Nigeria. I'm not saying people cannot get jobs without it..but the probability of a well-paying type is low.
Dangote won't employ you when you have nothing to offer, take a break from spreading the narrative that you get jobs through connection.
It is people like you that mislead people into wasting their lives.
Go to Dangote refinery and you will see tons of graduates there who got the job by passing through interview, same as the cement plants, nobody will employ u in engineering field when you studied social studies and have no idea about engineering because you have connections, no investor will do that and that's the narrative you are trying to sell out.

Lol just 1999 and you think you know them more than me? It's like telling me you know me more than I know myself

Idoma might pride themselves using Tiv for that sort of jobs now cause they know Tiv people did look down on them as inferiors in the past, and if an idoma person tells you Tiv people did this type of jobs for their forefathers then they are lying to you just for the pride of it , Tiv people have alot of pride that can easily be passed off as arrogance, much like the igbos,

My argument here is based on the the first comment I made on this thread, and I still stand by it , that's the situation
See why I said you are lost?
It was you who said that Tivs will never farm or dig wells for Idoma in the 90's and 2000's, I just told you when I first encountered them doing that, you see your response?
You don't even know what you are arguing, you just want to keep replying.
The average Benue man, Tiv, Idoma, Igede etc all have prides in great amount.
The Tivs doing the jobs see it as their area of expertise and they take pride in doing it, you coming to defend what u don't know is funny.
The Idoma actually call the Tivs by a game, I can't actually write it in words, it literally translates to "heap maker", that's the name they have been calling them since the days of their forefathers, you can't defend what you don't even know, yet you say they are lying, so how did that particular name come about?
Are you more enlightened than the elders of idoma who told the story?
You lack basic knowledge, impersonating the Tivs won't enlighten you.

90% of good jobs in Nigeria are gotten via connection. This is Nigeria.
Depends on what you call "good jobs".
If a good job is a job where you get paid without doing anything, you may be right but if good jobs are what is called good paying jobs, then you 100% wrong, Dangote industries won't employ because u have connections, they employ u because you can add value to them, same as most jobs in federal jobs.
90% of jobs can't be gotten when you have nothing to offer just by your connection.

I know alot if Nigerian tribes yet I don't understand their language, I don't even understand my maternal language.
TribaIism is rife in Benue, that's why the Idomas pride themselves in using the Tivs for manual labor and they do say it that the Tivs have been doing their manual labor since the days of their fore fathers, I have gotten myself acquainted with Benue since 1999 and my first agricultural encounter was in Otukpo and Tivs made those heaps, u don't even know basics.

Owning a means of transportation like a car is somewhat expensive in some countries that's part of the reason those countries have a vibrant public transport network, unfortunately, we don't have a good public transport network here that's why owning cars become important.
