No that is the mistake your company made by naming a local business a global one.
Okay, you have a point.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by jagun009: 8:54pm On Feb 03, 2017
GGK global limited doesn't mean it's "global" that's the mistake the eco made. It's a private company but the name makes it seem as if it's located around the world

I want to believe you understand my point sir Cc @Justwise

If the company is registered with Nigerian authority then the website doing down shouldn't stop them from verifying it.

If you work for a company and submit your employment letter, name of the company and contact details that is what they will use to verify it but it appears that they tried to verify it with the details you provided but it failed.

A company that pays you 200K a month shouldn't be difficult to find and verify.
Okay, what can I do to proof the company exists?

Does your statement of account reflects that you receive your salary directly from the companys account? Or do you receive cash payment?

let your employer write them a letter and also attach some company's documents such as CAC / tax cert.
Thanks for responding @askari01 Yes, it reflects salary direct from company. BHC even called my bank to verify.

Okay, I will do that

The problem here is not your documents or how much you earn, the ECO was unable to verify the company you work for, will you be able to proof that you work for that company or that the company actual exist?
The company website was down during my visa submission, Yes, I can proof the company exist but what can I do to proof it exists?

I hope to read from you as to reapply in a timely manner.

Thanks

I answered this part in my previous reply but for some reasons you still think that i don't understand your question.

If the embassy contacted the hotel they will be doing that so as to know if you have a room booked and not if you extended it or not, that is immaterial .
Thank you a lot
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by jagun009: 10:21am On Jan 28, 2017
justwise:
Contact the hotel to know if they will allow you to extend it. If were in your position I will cancel and only book when I have my visa
It seems you don't totally understand me Mr @Justwise. The hotel will start charging me from tomorrow and the visa is not yet out.

I applied in Ikeja which I thought it was faster but my visa application was later sent to Sheffield, UK.

I'm simply asking if it's okay for me to extend the date? Of course the hotel will let me change the date but I'm bothered about the ECO

Do you understand my point sir?

That is surprising. i figured the additional GBP55 meant the application would go to Walter Carrington instead which would be faster than Sheffield. My bad. Thanks alot Jagun009
You're welcome, that's what I thought initially, I had to paid and application was still sent to Sheffield.

JayJay0211:
Good evening everybody. Please confirm if Visa Applications through Ikeja Teleperformance still get considered in Nigeria and not Sheffield. I ask cos i saw a charge of 55 quid to use that centre. Thank you
I would say it's treated in Sheffield, because i submitted my visa application in Ikeja and was forwarded to Sheffield.

What will happen if you cancel and rebook when you have your visa?
Thanks for responding @Justwise, i'm not canceling it, i was just asking if it's possible for me to extend my arrival date because my visa application hasn't been assessed.

What do you suggest i should do?

Can somebody please respond to my last question....pls!
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by jagun009: 12:10pm On Jan 27, 2017
Hello @Justwise and others,

I applied for a visit visa since 13th of Jan. My visa application is yet to be assessed when i tracked it. My travel date is 1st - 8th of February, I want to know if it's ideal to change the hotel reservation date because the hotel will charge on the 30th which is Sunday or i should just leave it as it is?

Please advise me.

Thanks
