My modem that was previously working with my q11 has suddenly stopped. However my gprs slot is still functional.

If your modem stopped working on your qsat, all you need to do is put a flash drive into your qsat, if you have the latest software for your decoder copy it into the flash drive, now go to usb aspect of your qsat, if you are very observant you will notice that there are some options below when you have selected the flash drive, one of the options includes backing up the current database or settings of your decoder, i think the FAV key does that, after you have backed up your database, now run the latest software for your decoder you have on the flash, after it installs successfully, your modem should start working again.After you finish the installation you can also go back to the flash drive to restore you previous database, because the upgrade would erase everything you had previously, but with the aid of the database you backed-up you wont have to be setting up your qsat from the scratch, but you will have to activate the xcam account again. note you should use generator during all this process else you would end up with a dead decoder if nepa take light!!!!!!!!!!!

XVIER: I just bought dis decoder 2weeks ago and now it's not showing...pls I want to know if it does like this and will come up so soon or could it have been blocked?

MrBuzy: my qsat 23g is not working. please what is code 54***** and how will you input it on qsat 23g.

Guy if your qsat has not yet expired there is no need to input a new code, simply put some qsat decoders are currently working fine and we are waiting for others to work.

The code 54******* they are talking about means those qsat decoders with avatarcam code starting from 54 are working currently, which means all other decoders are going to work with time! so guys no need for panic mode yet
