new2012: Like earlier said, can't you be civil? are you a motor park tout? You think its everybody you meet on public forum that is your mate?
If you check properly, I saw ur post, ignored them and respond to the matured person, your opinion are apparently ill informed and you're uncouth.
Like I said I wouldn't bother responding to your lies you call achievements as you've laced them with insults.
However, if you're ready to debate in a civil manner, list the achievement one after the other and I'll tell you the details about it, even with pictures otherwise there's really no need responding to you as you're not well raised since everything is fight and quarrel..
Finally both Fayose and Fayemi are bunch of failures and its your kind that defend any of them especially given that you can sell your conscience for morsel of bread. you call verifiable projects from 5 newspaper source lies yet you can't point to what fayose has done in four years but you want to label a man that commissioned over 30 projects a failure!!! keep making a fool of yourself and demanding for respect online when you can't even argue logically those NL users that are respected earned respect of people by making intelligent and educative comments and being truthful not by telling us they are 60yrs old. show us fayose's projects in ekiti. we don't care about your age!!! |

Josefina77: The Ekiti State Government has described as total falsehood, report that the state borrowed a total sum of N56 billion since Governor Ayodele Fayose assumed office and that a fresh N25 billion loan was applied for. “The only fresh loan taken by the government of Fayose was the N10 billion grant from the Excess Crude Account, which was released to all states for capital projects, N2.8 billion requested from Wema Bank to pay State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) counterpart fund out of which N1 billion has been accessed and N600 million for MDGs counterpart fund, which has been repaid.” The government said “the report, which was attributed to the Debt Management Office (DMO) was orchestrated from the media office of the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi, who is obviously struggling albeit unsuccessfully to redeem his battered image by trying to change the narrative from the debt he plunged Ekiti State to and the wanton looting of the treasury when he was governor. “We are aware of how hard Fayemi’s media handlers tried yesterday, to get the false report published in major newspapers, claiming that they had a classified document from the DMO.” The Special Assistant to the State Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, who reacted to the report in a release issued on Monday, said; “There is no recent bulletin from the DMO website concerning debt owed by any state as claimed in the false report. Nigerians, especially Ekiti people can visit the DMO website: https://www.dmo.gov.ng/debt-profile/domestic-debts for further clarification.” He said: “As at the time Governor Fayose assumed office, some of the loans on the debt profile of Ekiti State were; Bond from capital market (N26.7 billion), loan for developmental projects obtained from Ecobank using Fountain Holdings (N5 billion), loan for recapitalization obtained from Wema Bank (N1 billion), commercial agric credit scheme from First Bank (N420.8 million), loan for legacy facility obtained from Ecobank (N408.2 million), loan for developmental projects obtained from Skye Bank (N7.5 billion), vehicle lease obtained from Ecobank (N146.6 billion), laptop procurement (N375 million) among others.” “It is on record that Ekiti State Government was indebted to the tune of N86,013,689,097 as at October 16, 2014 that Governor Fayose took over. The debts are broken down as follows: Bank Loans, N15,831,613,425.62; Bond, N26,749,796,784.75; Outstanding Warrants, N15,522,552,900.76; Outstanding to Road Contractors, N21, 286,126,749; Outstanding Remittances to FG, N709, 883,656.75; Outstanding Remittances (State Govt), N592, 995,374.89; and EKSG Public Servants Outstanding Emoluments, N5,137,888,224.37. “We are however not unmindful of the battered image of the APC in Ekiti State and the attempt to change the narrative to ‘Fayemi’s government truly plunged Ekiti into debt, but Fayose’s government has borrowed more.’ This is more like someone admitting to being a thief but calling others thieves too. “No matter how hard Fayemi and his spin-doctors try, they cannot erase the fact that apart from regular monthly allocation and Subsidy Reinvestment Programme (SURE-P) fund among others, Fayemi’s received N46.4 billion from the Excess Crude Account, yet he took N25 billion bond and N31 billion commercial bank loan. One of such frivolous loans was the N5 billion obtained from Ecobank without the DMO approval, using Fountain Holdings Limited, a company with N15 million share capital. “Finally, the website of the DMO is www.dmo.gov.ng, Nigerians can visit the website to see whether or not there was any bulletin published this month concerning debt owed by Ekiti State government.” show is projects fayose executed. leave all these story of how fayemi trying to manipulate the DMO. show us fayose's projects!!! |

new2012: You tagged me? What do you in enjoy in lying? if you claim you didn't see it I'll copy and paste it here for you i'm coming back here back October 16, 2012 marked two years that Dr. Kayode Fayemi assumed office as the Governor of Ekiti State after his stolen mandate was restored by the Court of Appeal. Confronted by gargantuan challenges of governance and a huge burden of expectation from the people of the state who expected their problems to be immediately solved, Fayemi has slowly but steadily won the hearts of Ekiti citizens within two years in office. The second anniversary of Fayemi’s ascension to power gave the people of the state an opportunity to assess their governor and the projects executed so far to ascertain the impact they would have on the citizenry. Invited guests and visitors who came to celebrate Fayemi’s second anniversary in office were completely dumbfounded by the enormity and quality of projects carried out by the administration. This should be expected because Fayemi chose to work silently behind the scene and allow his work to speak for him rather than spending huge resources of the state on razzmatazz in a bid to glorify himself. But the people of Ekiti State have cause to thank God for the various people-oriented projects executed and commissioned for their use by the Fayemi administration to marks its 730 days in office. The projects range from roads to schools, enterprise development centres, skills acquisition centres, stadium facilities, electricity projects, water projects, among others. Hitherto dilapidated schools were renovated during the eight-week long vacation period and commissioned for the use of appreciative students and teachers who resumed to their completely transformed schools. The schools were renovated under the first phase of Operation Renovate All Schools in Ekiti (ORASE) as classrooms, hostels, dining halls, laboratories, administration blocks were touched to make learning and extracurricular activities conducive. As the government commissioned projects for the use of its citizens, it also laid the foundation stones of new projects it hopes to complete within the last two years of the four-year mandate. The foundation of what the administration christened as Legacy Projects for which it expects to be remembered by generations yet unborn include new Government House, new Governor’s Office, Civic Centre and State Pavilion. Foundation stones of ultramodern Trailer Park in Omuo-Oke, Life Academy in Iluomoba and Samsung Engineering Academy in Ado which are expected to touch the lives of the host communities were also laid. Projects commissioned on the first day, October 9, 2012 include a Data Centre at Governor’s Office and the renovated Oluyemi Kayode Stadium which was in a state of disrepair when the administration came on board. The people of Ilupeju-Ijan in Gbonyin Local Government Area in Ekiti South Senatorial District praised Fayemi to high heavens on October 10, 2012 when the governor commissioned the community’s electricity project. They sang, they danced and exhuded unspeakable joy after the governor switched on the light to deliver them from darkness, promising to repay him with votes at the next governorship election. To residents of Ilawe-Ekiti, headquarters of Ekiti South West Local Government in the same senatorial district, the commissioning of Ilawe-Igbara Odo-Ibuji Road was dreams come true. The road now serves as an alternative route to commuters travelling to Akure, the Ondo State capital from Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital following the collapse of Ondo State portion of Ado-Ikere-Akure Road. Residents of Ilawe were marvelled at the transformation of the premier post-primary institution in the town, Corpus Christi College which was commissioned by Fayemi. Other projects commissioned include Enterprise Development Centre, Aisegba-Ekiti; Omuo-Oke Grammar School, Omuo-Oke; Obada High School, Obada and Africa Church Comprehensive High School, Ikere. On October 10, 2012, Fayemi’s commissioning train rolled into Ekiti Central Senatorial District which also witnessed a harvest of projects in all the five local government areas. Projects unveiled are Erijiyan-Ilawe Road, Efon-Ipole Iloro-Ikogosi Road both of which lead to the Ikogosi Warm Spring Tourist Resort, Awo-Iyin Road, Ado-Afao Road and Ado-Ilawe Road, Ipoti High School, Odo Owa-Okeila Road which leads to Osun State. Equally commissioned by Fayemi are Odo-Uro Electricity Project, Efon Water Project, Okemesi Water Project, Ido-Ile Water Project, Ido-Ile Basic Health Centre, Iropora Skills Acquisition Centre, Eyemote Grammar School, Iyin and Erelu Adebayo Orphanage, Iyin. The rest are Mary Hill Water Project, Ijigbo-Isato Road, EKSUTH-Fajuyi Road and the massively renovated Ola Oluwa Muslim Grammar School, all in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital http://thenationonlineng.net/a-harvest-of-projects-in-ekiti/ I can count at least 30 projects from the above write up!!! cc tomakint seguno2 dhabrite tonason and all the fayose worshipers come and tell us what he did in ekiti fayemi also commissioned ikogosi after rebuilding it http://theeagleonline.com.ng/fayemi-commissions-redeveloped-ikogosi-resort/fayose abandoned it and left it to rot!!!! http://thenationonlineng.net/ekiti-community-fayose-revive-ikogosi-warm-spring-resort/another article testifying to fayemi's wonderful work by vanguard https://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/02/fayemi-49-garlands-peoples-governor/The award-winning cartoonist who was a nominee at the NMMA, when asked to comment on the drawing simply said: “the cartoon speaks for itself.” According to him, Governor Fayemi has done so much to develop the state and its citizens that he had in the process, inadvertently, raised the bar of governance as well as qualification for political office in the state. A vast majority of the participants at the event who are mostly first time visitors to the Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort- where nature and modernity have a perfect blend- could not but agree with him. The new life that has been injected into the Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort is an eloquent testimony to the transformative leadership style of the Governor who masterminded the redevelopment of the once moribund spring to a world class standard tourist centre. But in actual fact, Ikogosi Warm Springs, like the Ekiti Project itself, remains a work in progress, as the government has concluded plans for the second phase of development with a foreign technical partner. The successful transformation of Ikogosi Warm Springs, many believe, is a product of courage, vision and penchant for excellence which the Fayemi administration is noted for. In just about three and a half years, the JKF administration has impacted positively on the lives of the citizens and the various communities with its well structured developmental strategies anchored on the 8-point agenda. Just as the JKF’s Midas touch has brought life back to Ikogosi, two moribund industries- Ire Bricks Factory and Odua Enterprise Centre (formerly Oodua Textile) have also been resuscitated. This helped to expandthe State’s r, providejob opportunitiesfor the youths, encouragenew skills acquisition by workers and enlarge the middle class in the State. By ensuring peace and tranquillity and putting relevant laws in place to protect investments and investors, the state has been able to attract scores of billion naira private sector investment. Fayemi’s quiet revolution in the agriculture sector has energised the sector, leading to more youths embracing commercial agriculture under its Youth in Commercial Agriculture Development (YCAD) scheme. This pragmatic approach to agric business and the attendant empowerment programmes for the young farmers is gradually making Ekiti the food basket of the nation, while raising a crop of young entrepreneurs in that sector. A passionate and compassionate leader, Fayemi in the bid to take good care of the indigent elderly citizens of the state, established the Social Security Benefit Scheme that gives every qualified elderly citizens N5,000 stipends monthly. The number of beneficiaries has since been increased to 25,000 elderly citizens drawn from the 16 local government areas of the state. Other components of the social security scheme include the food bank (where indigent old people could go and get a meal and or food items). According to available statistics from the State Burof Statistics [SBS] , within three and a half years, the JKF administration has jobs of different categories to the tune of 3,327 in 2011 and progressively increased the figure to 10,465 and 30,187 in and 2013 respectively. A total of 736.715km of roads havebeen constructed since when he made known his plan to make all parts of Ekiti accessible by major roads before the end of 2014. dams in the state become the bid to water supply coverage by eighty per cent. The huge investment in education including the computer per child initiative, massive renovation of all public schools and the introduction of various capacity building programmes for the teachers has also started to yield positive results with the remarkable performance of students in external examinations as well as state and national competitions. The comprehensive renovation and equipment of all the general hospitals and health centres across the state as well as the Free Medical Mission programme which has covered nearly 400,000 people has also helped to create a more healthy citizens. Indeed the JKF vision of banishing poverty and sickness in the state is becoming a reality. Fayemi has demonstrated that an activist in government can make a difference. In three and a half years he has shown through his works that he is a builder of a new dawn, working with imagination, insight and boldness. He presents the challenge that calls for the best in people and brings them together around a shared sense of purpose. His eyes are on the horizon, not just on the near at hand. He is a social innovator and change agents who is able to motivate the citizens with better ideas for optimal productivity. As an inspiring leader, Fayemi has been able to replace transactional politics of yester years with transformational leadership. His emphasis has always been on how institutional framework can be strengthened to ensure effective service delivery; How leaders and the led can work together to achieve common goals. What mechanism and processes should be put in place for genuine and effective empowerment of the citizens towards the attainment of the good life for all. JKF continues to espouse this concept of good governance, participatory democracy and strengthening of institutions in practical terms especially in the running of the affairs of Ekiti State by laying emphasis on key elements of good governance including accountability, transparency, efficiency and effectiveness, responsiveness, the rule of law and forward vision. He believes that trust is a public good without which no great thing can be achieved collectively. Hence, he believes trust has to be earned. Fayemi’s unique approach to governance and style of doing development with the people has inspired hope of a better tomorrow for Ekiti people. Curiously this has remained a big headache for the opposition, many of whom find it extremely difficult to deny the pace of development that is evident in all the nooks and crannies of the state. Thus, from the rolling hills of Ekiti comes forty and nine gbosas for John Kayode Fayemi, this innovator, social justice crusader, democrat and change agent – Oni Uyi, Oni Eye!- as he clocks 49 today cc all fayose's slaves both ipob and non ipobs pls tell us what he has done in four years we are waiting modified let me call them since they are having selective vision cc new2012 Johnnyessence kunleweb livinus009 omochelsea004 pls tell us fayose's projects!!! |

transformed: Not conversant with Ekiti politics but looking from afar... Fayemi was a governor when Ekiti receive monthly allocations up to 5 billion, and occasional massive windfalls that run to 10s of billion, yet he left the government house with Ekiti state hundreds of billion indebted. Fayose came into power during the era of paucity of fund occasioned by oil price plunge; together with repayment of debts Fayose inherited from Fayemi, Ekiti under Fayose usually receive less than a billion monthly allocation, and in some instances, ridiculously lower than that, a times in the region of 300 million. Comparing them on the basis of commissioned project, I think is not fair. With all these said, I think some Ekiti people will still argue that Fayose commisioned more projects than Fayemi despite all the financial crisis (I doubt the validity of such claim). To me what actually stood out as an achievement of Fayose over Fayemi is Ekiti plunging to number 35 in NECO under Fayemi, gradually improved to number 1 by 2016 & 2017 under Fayose...You cant fake that. liar!!! ekiti has never received up to 4b allocation in a single month not to talk of 5b. why all these barefaced lies by PDP apologists? as at the time fayemi was there salary was already taking 70% of ekiti allocation but he was able to innovate and still touch the lives of the people with infrastructure!!! 163b in four years is less than 3.4b per month liar!!! liar!!! liar!!! https://m.guardian.ng/news/ekiti-received-n163b-in-four-years-under-fayemi-say-witnesses/i'm here to expose all your shameless lies!!! |

On October 10, 2012, Fayemi’s commissioning train rolled into Ekiti Central Senatorial District which also witnessed a harvest of projects in all the five local government areas. Curiously this has remained a big headache for the opposition, many of whom find it extremely difficult to deny the pace of development that is evident in all the nooks and crannies of the state. tomakint: Fayose to many is seen as the Father of Modern Ekiti and indeed he is living up to his billing on that if anything we see in the news lately are something to rely on. However, some folks only see him as a rabble rouser, a kpomo-cutting, aimless talking Governor who is not fit to be a Governor. Fayemi is on the other side a well read and more of a foreign based, trained consultant with big institutions and who also had a shot at being a Governor of Ekiti State too. There are allegations that during Faywmi's 4 years stint as Governor, he only commissioned 3 projects while many were left unaccomplished unlike Fayose who has a spread throughout the whole of the State in his projects handiwork. This thread is meant to compare who achieved more in delivering the dividends of democracy to their people during their times as Givernors. I am throwing it open to those who are based in Ekiti and can convincingly point to us who achieve more in terms of projects delivery to the great people of Ekiti, especially those with pictorial evidences. Thank you all. lol see this chief wailer fayose only commissioned a bridge!!! |

livinus009: We all know Fayemi is an 'Oyinbo' governor who didn't commissioned not even up to 10 projects.
Fayose on the other hand did commissioned several projects despite his 'Unseriousness' see bare faced lies pls mention projects fayose commissioned in ekiti modified October 16, 2012 marked two years that Dr. CodeTemplar: HigherEd, Come and see this irredeemable arrogant ignoramus who thinks has a more accurate figure of UNILAG population than the UNILAG VC. Where do these kind of creature emanate from? kai... you are extremely dull and arrogant. if there is anyone that is dull and arrogant it is you. go to the unilag website and see where it was stated that the population has exceeded 40k. the website home page which is the primary source of that info has probably not been updated in over a decade yet you want to take it that the population is that round figure of 40,000 instead of a figure of 44,602 for undergraduates and 12,581 for post graduates (as at 2013) which seems more like an accurate census figure. yet you are trying too hard to parade yourself as an intellectual? now who's the dull one now? let me go the extra mile for you Mr pseudo intellectual. the 2013 figure is from unilag itself!!! go to the wikipedia page and click on the reference "1" in front of that figure and it takes you to the unilag website to download a file "university of Lagos pocket statistics.pdf" which was retrieved from the school website itself as at 2016. check the attached pictures. make sure you click the reference "1" and "2" in from of the figures to take you to the website. how could any sane mind believe the round figure of 40k against the accurate census data that was available on the website? now I ask again who's the dull one? btw college of medicine (MBBS, BDS, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, radiography, pharmacology, nursing, MLS, etc) and faculty of pharmacy alone has more than 5000 Undergrad and PG students. My public health PG class a few years back had over 100 students for one single PT program so how could anyone expect the population of the whole school not to exceed 40k and be even higher than the 57k as at this 2018? pls visit the wikipedia page https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Lagos and follow the references "1" and "2" to the unilag website before you come back and argue again brain dead illiterate that feels he knows more than someone that spent close to 3decades living around and inside the school itself. I was 4 when my dad got his lecturing job here. i'm 29 right now. I did both my undergrad and PG here so if you are going to call me dull over something I have good knowledge of be 101% sure you are right brainless illiterate |

How old are you? you are the slowpoke. ask anyone in that passed through the four walls of a university. the number of students increase slightly year after year. I don't expect you to know that since you are just one mumu illiterate trying hard to form intellectual. so if you need a figure for a research you don't know you are meant to pick the latest verifiable figure? since I couldn't find a verifiable claim later than 2013 I picked the one for 2013. no one said i'm hundred percent right in my estimate of what the government spends on each student in 2018 so shift and find something to do instead of looking for dumb loopholes. |

I never argued over the cost of educating a single student!!! but if you want to take it that way 11b/57000= 192,000 that is why the VC is right to say it's not enough!!! that is why I used 10yr old microscopes for my biology practical that is why my department didn't have a freeze drier that is why we were packed like sardines (6 in a room) in luth hostel that is why we only had a few hours of light daily and we slept in darkness!!! the guardian article advocates that 36b yearly will be appropriate for unilag which will jack up the cost per student to about 600k per session and give the students better education!!! |
