CodeTemplar:for the umpteenth time the 57k is the number of students not the cost of educating one student Jesus see brain ![]() |
CodeTemplar:how did I separate lecturers money when I calculated it as part of the 11b? you are one confused fellow!!!the 57k I mentioned is the number of students not the cost of educating 1student!!! Jesus do I have to open your brain? ![]() |
CodeTemplar:lol see who is talking about ignorance. how do you intend to compare both schools without taking into account the number of students in each school and their yearly budget? I've analysed the budget of unilag for 2017 using the number of lecturers and non teaching staffs and likely cost of salary, utility bills, maintainance, research equipments, office expenses, etc. all for 57,000 students of unilag https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Lagos prove to me you are not the ignorant one and do an estimate for CU that has 15000 students https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covenant_University you claim to be working on facts and you are not close to the system yet to u can't give me links to support your wild claims. tell me how unilag will take care of 57k students and 3k staffs with 11b and have 1b left for a beautiful stadium in one year!!! |
CodeTemplar:lol what is this illiterate saying? and you are calling me a boy. unilag has 57k students both under and postgraduate. that is what in saying!!! argue the cost of salaries and all those other things I stated up there and give an objective opinion of how the school will still have billions left after all those expenses!!! you call someone a boy yet you have comprehension issues ![]() |
CodeTemplar:unilag had 57k as at 2013. note that the number increases gradually each year so 2018 is definitely more https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Lagos on a budget of 11b yearly with my analysis up there staff salaries alone will take at least 4b yearly!!! now tell me the school won't be lucky to to have 2b left after other expenses!!! |
CodeTemplar:don't forget to add the cost of maintaining classrooms too your ignorance is baffling ![]() 57k students in total and you want to educate them with 11b yearly. what a joke ![]() |
CodeTemplar:lol see this from your own link My position is that if there ’s a choice between free education and good education at all levels , I choose the latter . It requires N 1. 2 million on the average to thoroughly teach a properly accredited course in the university . With the population of about 40 ,000 at UNILAG , we require N 48 billion per annum . We are able to attract about N10 billion or N 11 billion from the Federal Governmentif you want to use that 11b removed salaries of all lecturers in unilag akoka and college of medicine for a whole year. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Lagos there are almost 1200 lecturers in unilag from that write up. if an average lecturer earns 250,000 in salaries (note that professors earn at least 450k without allowances so average of 250k for all lecturers without their allowances is very very fair). 250k*1200 that's 300m on lecturer salaries alone monthly!!! 3.6b yearly remove salary of office staffs (typists and co), security men, cleaners, porters, lab assistants, drivers, etc. I can't speculate much on this but let's give it 100m monthly and 1.2b yearly remove cost of electricity and internet for offices, cost of printers, inks and papers, etc remove the cost of computers for departmental and faculty offices yearly. note that my dad has not received a laptop or desktop computer from his department in over 3years!!! he's using his personal computers. remove cost of maintaining staff quarters. the lecturers pay highly discounted rents. I stay in a four bedroom flat in a serene environment at less than 1/2 of what it will cost if I rented the same apartment outside. remove the cost of maintaining student hostels and paying for hostel security, cleaning, etc. remove the cost of buying research equipments and chemicals for sciences, health sciences, engineering and co. note that I was in luth idi araba between 2007 and 2011. we used 5-10yr old microscopes in the faculty of pharmacy, idi araba. both faculty of pharmacy and department of pharmacology didn't have freeze drier I had to oven dry my fruit juice for my research in 2011 and I got lesser result than using the fresh fresh fruit juice cos heat destroyed most of the active constituents.go to faculty of science and engineering and see engineering equipments that should have been replaced 10yrs ago lying down useless after all those costs I listed up there there's barely nothing left for infrastructure!!! stop arguing blindly!!! now tell me how unilag can afford to spend the whole 11b on infrastructures when all it's income goes to TSA!!! the school will be lucky to have 1b left for new buildings at the end of the year!!! |
CodeTemplar:lol I told you im technically an insider and you are still arguing blindly. 2017 budget for education was less than 500b naira http://www.tribuneonlineng.com/budget-2017-sad-story-nigerias-education/ shared between universities, COEs, polytechnics and federal unity schools 40 federal universities in Nigeria. see list here https://www.dailyschoolnews.com.ng/federal-universities-in-nigeria/ 21 federal polytechnics https://www.nigeriaschool.com.ng/federal-polytechnics-in-nigeria/ 21 federal colleges of education https://www.nigeriaschool.com.ng/federal-polytechnics-in-nigeria/ 37 federal unity schools in Nigeria https://www.myschoolgist.com/ng/federal-government-unity-schools-in-nigeria/ universities can't get up to 300b out of the 500b. what is 300b/40 unis? let's give 200b to 21 COEs, 21 polytechnics and 37 unity schools to share. first let's start will salary for teaching and non-teaching staffs of all the almost 100 federal higher instructions. can you imagine how much their salaries will be? how about the salaries of those in the ministry education in Abuja and the various liaison offices in 36 states they won't work for free!!!how about the cost of paying pensioners? note that salary and pension come directly from the ministry of education. now tell me how much do you think is left for the federal government to share for the institutions to execute projects of their own desire? also take note that students payments and all sort of income for the institutions nowngo directly to the FG's TSA. even if you want to pay unilag 500naira you'll pay with TSA so the universities are not earning a penny in their personal accounts.occasionally the FG releases money for new infrastructure and maintenance of old ones and also for utility bills (power and the super fast unilag internet connection I use every weekend). but on the average unilag gets less than 2b naira yearly for infrastructure both maintenance and building of new ones!!! where did you get your own 11b from? i'm talking as an insider ![]() if you can identify lies in my post prove me wrong btw don't call me a liar next time except you are 101% sure |
CodeTemplar:lol which federal university gets 11b annually? if you are not in the system stop making assumptions!!! i'm not in the system either but I come from a family of career lecturers (unilag and UI). according to my dad ABUAD is currently getting more funding than Unilag. he was in ABUAD for 2yrs on sabbatical and he testified to how much private universities are investing in equipments for research and infrastructures. no federal university gets 11b annually!!! |
nkwuocha1:keep making a fool of yourself |
Guyman02:you are brain dead. there is nothing in her post that shows she's Yoruba. there are Muslim women in the south east too. there are educated northern Muslim women on Twitter too. but as a foolish bigot you decided to disgrace your generation with this high score of stupidity. congrats on your record breaking foolishness were |
fallout87:when APC data centers were raided and the only things DSS found were computers that wasn't intimidation? what was the DSS expecting to find in data centers other than computers? when tinubu was dragged before cct in a bid to jail him ahead of 2015 they wasn't intimidation? when buhari's plane was barred from landing the wasn't intimidation? when Jonathan deployed soldiers for ekiti election in 2014 against court ruling that soldiers should not be deployed that wasn't intimidation? when amaechi was stopped by soldiers from entering ekiti prior to 2014 ekiti election that wasn't intimidation? when a certain patience Jonathan slapped a sitting governor because demolished buildings in okrika that wasn't intimidation? when patience Jonathan blocked everywhere in port Harcourt and stopped a sitting governor from moving around freely that wasn't intimidation? when rivers state jet was grounded in early 2014 for no just reason that wasn't intimidation? when APC party agents were all arrested the night before ekiti election that wasn't intimidation? when the police backed by the FG shot at supporters of APC during their campaign rally in rivers state that wasn't intimidation? when DSS stormed a printing press in late 2014 to seize a book written to criticise Jonathan that wasn't intimidation? when DSS stopped the circulation of a news paper that published a report against Jonathan that wasn't intimidation? when soldiers were stationed outside tinubu's house instead sambisa forest where they belong that wasn't intimidation? when soldiers shot at and beat up fuel subsidy protesters in 2012 that wasn't intimidation? Jonathan and his minions like you must think we've forgotten how he intimidated the opposition while he was in power. Buhari hasn't done 30% of all these and you are all screaming dictator. those that are being tried in court didn't they collect money that doesn't belong to them? so why will you call it intimidation when they are dragged to court? Jonathan can only fool those that have been blinded by hate for PMB. he can't fool reasonable Nigerians like me. never!!! |
three:so fuel was 67 naira in 2015? some of you just come here and make a fool of yourselves under the guise of expressing your opinion |
BiafraIShere:yet GTB responded just once days after your innoson ran to the media like a cry baby but you used the word hastily to qualify GTB's response go and buy a dictionary. illiterate |
BiafraIShere:hahaha o didn't even see where u wrote that GTB hastily did a PR job. It was innoson that ran to the press and GTB only released a single statement later innoson is still crying to the press and GTB has kept mum since then. yet you used the word hastily. the money spent on your education should have been used to buy newspapers |
BiafraIShere:lol and the downside of it no serious business man will do that in fact the serious business men are the ones sustaining giving the bank most of its profit.btw no literate person will believe innoson is being persecuted by the same FG that gives him defence contracts regularly. let him go and answer his case in court. you are the illiterate mofo for seeing this as persecution cos he's an Ibo business man ![]() with that kind of mentality it's obvious your parents wasted money on your education. that money could have been used to farm pigs ![]() tell all your Ibo ppl class to withdraw all their funds from GTB and watch all yorubas including me withdraw our moneys from diamond and putting in GTB. equation balanced illiterate |
BiafraIShere:lol deluded mind. after all your tantrums GTB still remains the best bank in Nigeria. you are free to move your 1200naira anywhere you like ![]() |
SouthEastFacts:the fact is your are brain dead |
Boland:see this one o. anything you do for the woman has to be out of your own freewill. why should I sacrifice all my savings on a woman i'm not sure I will marry? I can give gifts and assist occasionally but stop talking like it's the responsibility of the guy to take care of all her wants and needs |
kenzysmith:see ffk attacking Jonathan here http://www.nigeriavillagesquare.com/articles/ffk-on-chief-e-k-clark-president-goodluck-jonathan-and-his-government.html http://www.osundefender.com/buharivictory-update-fani-kayode-blasts-jonathan-says-he-still-holds-jonathan-that-jonathan-is/ https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/131308-fani-kayode-blasts-jonathan-says-president-is-leaving-legacy-of-destruction-and-disaster.html were you born this year? how come you don't know ffk was a serious critic of Jonathan between 2011 and 2015? where is your brain? ![]() |
MrSly:good. I like people who are ready to argue logically like you. yes buhari has failed to deliver on most of his campaign promises and I've not decided on who to vote yet. if PDP fields someone like atiku I'll definitely vote buhari. the devil I know is better the angel I don't know. Jonathan failed so much and buhari started looking like the Messiah cos of the way Jonathan handled things like a kindagaten president. in 6yrs Jonathan didn't fix any general road in the south west apart from Benin ore road. GEJ didn't do any road in the south east either. he was a total failure. if sowore or fela durotoye can convince me in 2019 that they would at least be 10% better than buhari then I'll give them my vote!!! |
SouthEastFacts:yeah everyone that doesn't share your jaundiced opinion is BMC. you need a brain ASAP |
BlakKluKluxKlan:you see how you fail exams? I never said buhari has a brain in the post you quoted. instead I pointed out the fact that ffk once praised the same buhari. I also mentioned the fact that buhari has failed to deliver on most of his promises. now can you see your foolishness? illiterate |
PointZerom:of course he did some good things like telecommunications, Foreign reserve and our debts that he cleared. where did you see me criticising obj in that post you quoted aside the way he treated tinubu and what he said about ffk which are known facts? you should go through my posts and point out where I ever criticised obj. i'm one of the reasonable few that tell it as it is. I even pointed out the fact that buhari has failed to deliver on most of his electoral promises in the post you quoted. yet you foolishly classified me as a blind APC supporter. you should be the one to shut your dirty mouth |
charain:i'm doing my job yet I said buhari has failed to deliver on most of his promises? why not point out the lies in all those things I said up there. are all wailers this dumb? |
SouthEastFacts:so the best way to defend your paymaster is to say he has failed to deliver on most (more than 50%) of his electoral promises? isn't that an own goal? English is obviously not your strong point |
iamdynamite:thank you!!! |
SouthEastFacts:are you blind to the part where I said buhari has failed to deliver on most of his electoral promises? may God deliver you from this inherent foolishness |
ffk is a mor0n the same ffk that once asked obj to account for the $16b years back is now defending obj the same ffk that once called buhari a man of integrity and called GEJ a clueless man is suddenly pro-jonathan and anti-buhari. the same ffk that once wrote long epistles against ibos and even went as far as telling us tales of how he bedded their late general's wife is suddenly pro-ipob ![]() this ffk is the most confused politician in the history of this country. he's now standing against everything he stood for a few years ago. even the obj he's defending now once said give ffk food and he will sing for you ![]() buhari and tinubu are far from perfect. buhari has failed to deliver on most of his electoral promises but both tinubu and buhari are the only politicians in Nigeria that stood by what they believe in even when things weren't working for them and they were surrounded by enemies. buhari lost 3 presidential elections and never lost the opposition. tinubu was tormented under Obj and he wasn't broken. instead he went ahead to birth a strong opposition party that wrestled power away from PDP. Buhari remains a man of integrity. the real question we should all be asking is "FFK where is your brain?" |
deboysben:what's our business with what your ijaw masters decide to do with you? lol please leave afonjas out of your madness ![]() |
Mogidi:and our reserves have gone up 13b dollars in 3yrs of buhari amidst low oil price. that's where the remaining is going. this is a government with the will to save. not one ineffectual buffoon that o my knows how to share money |
