Science/TechnologyRe: Is It Advisable To Use Cooking Gas To Power Generator? by Jaiiis(m): 3:07am On Oct 09, 2023
funken:
Now this is very misleading. Gas can be safely used to power generators. What do you think they use to power the generators on oil rigs and oil flowstations? GAS!!!
The only thing is it has to be done safely. AND 2kg cannot power a gen for 12hrs. That is very false. I powered my 2.5kva gen with 12.5kg for about 20hrs. Take note that i had various loads on it at different times.
Please did you have an air conditioner as one of the load at any point in time?

2.5kva too big for am ooo, make he buy the 1.5 kva.
Will the 1.5 carry my fridge and blender? Even if it means I have to turn one off for the other. And say if I get a TV in future (I don't know why I would tho) will it be able to hold the TV and the fridge?

This should serve if you can get the original, avoid buying online as advised.
So I should look for the same generator but not online?

As a student i would recommend Thermocool TEC Junior 1.5kva, but blenders also consume energy along with other appliances you didn't mention so the 1.5kva may be to small. If cost isn't an ish, i would recommend the 2.5kva TEC Bobo. You can check any Thermocool store for the current cost, good luck.....
Thank u so much, I really appreciate smiley

Good morning house, I'm a student in need of a gen that can power a table top fridge, a 60 djack speakers, and blender, what kva is good enough and is it advisable to buy second hand generators as there is no money for a new one rn?
I found this online now, please I'm a novice in generators and I'm so scared to make a mistake cause I can't afford to from a financial standpoint.

Is this original, and would this work for my load capacity
