Nigerian singer-songwriter, Daniel Oyebanjo better known by his stage name as D'Banj has welcomed his first child with his wife, Didi Kilgrow in the United states. According to an online user, this unidentified young man 'committed suicide' by hanging himself inside an uncompleted building at Obadeyi Ijaiye, Lagos. Details of the circumstances that led to his death are unknown but he was found dead by some residents this morning. UK Police have arrested a 23-Year-Old young man in Arndale Centre, South Manchester following the attack on Manchester Arena yesterday which claimed 22 lives and left 59 injured. The police made this known in a statement on twitter on Tuesday. “With regards to the ongoing investigation into last night’ s horrific attack at the Manchester Arena , we can confirm we have arrested a 23-year- old man in South Manchester, ” the statement read. A young man has been arrested for allegedly beating his 7-year-old son to death in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. According to multiple online sources, the man accused his child of stealing N3200 on Friday night and beat him till 1am on Saturday. The little boy was found lifeless this morning after the father tried to wake him up to run an errand for his pregnant wife. It was gathered that the boy had been maltreated by his father and step-mom since his mother left, including being starved on a daily basis. An Instagram user, @srigeorgeom who witnessed the incident, wrote; What a cruel world. This week Tuesday, between the hours of 8 to 9 am. I saw crowd of people around my vicinity gathered this little boy, so I stopped by and inquired what happened. They told me this little boy on his way to school, stole doughnut from a shop. The people whom he stole the doughnut even gave him more of it and mineral and asked him to go. They all claimed that his father and stepmum have the habit of starving and beating him to stupor on daily basis. I saw so many scars on his body.I took the boy to my house, interviewed him, and he told me so many things. How he has been suffering since his mother left his father. I gave him some biscuits, asked him to come and eat at my place anytime and promised to see his father this week before he left for school just to wake up this morning with shouting that his father has beaten him to death. A Nigerian lady, Princess Alaere took to her Instagram page to mourn her brother, Prince Ikp Ekiyor who died in his Atlanta house, USA after he went to hang out his friends. According to her, Ekiyor, on getting home after meeting with his friends, started vomiting and died as a result. She wrote; It has been so difficult for me to post this like you would wake up and be disappointed at me for adding R.I.P to A post of you but this is reality and I have to face it. I slept and woke up so many times just to wish all of this was a dream. Prince Ikp Ekiyor your life was cut short just at the peak of your career. You went out with your friends to hangout only for you to get back home vomiting till you died in your Atlanta home America. My God will definitely avenge your death my sweet younger brother who was full of life with so much energy. You respected everyone and called every guy Baba, you always bowed when greeting people. We lost a brother, a son, a great star, a father, a friend and mummy's last boy. The pain I feel is unexplainable, It's excruciating, it's killing me. My heart is so heavy... I keep thinking of when we were little. Everyone always thought we were twins cos I was only a year+ older than you and we were same height as kids. We did everything together, climbed trees together, went to school together, ate together, dragged your clothes with you as if I were a boy, when ever you come to Nigeria I drag your clothes with you and you just leave them for me calling me a tomboy. I miss you so much my baby brother with a baby heart. Your warm amazing soul was the best thing ever brought onto this planet. You will never be forgotten.
