The good thing is he was convicted. Do the crime do the time, why can't we practice same in Nigeria? Why are the bandits, and terrorists doing the crime not doing the time? Ogbeni if my memory serves me right, the last court case Sylva had with EFFC was in 2015. And he wasn't discharged and acquitted, the counts were dismissed and struck out.

A dismissed case, doesn't translate to being discharged and acquitted, as such EFCC still has the power to reopen the case if they find more concrete evidence.

Beside Tinubu wasn't president in 2015, if his hands are clean nothing stops same court from dismissing the case this time or better still being discharged and acquitted.

The most important thing is did he loot the treasury or not? Any other thing is secondary. You can't be a looter and cry about political witch hunting. He who comes into equity must come in clean hands shikena.
