Theres another side of the story which you have to figure out yourself, she knows the kind of man she got married to and he must be traditionalist to have asked her to swear on Juju. Thats why most marriages fail, people just want to get married but they arent prepared for the storms that come after. Mutual agreement on religious beliefs should be considered before marriage.

Hopefully none of us will marry such ladies (or guys, in a female's case).

But if ur partner does stuffs like that, mehn, no beat am o, beating doesn't make sense, it's just plain stupïd, but u can always threaten to report her to her people o, or even friends and colleagues.

__5.Most importantly couples must av fear of God in deir heart.
