Politics / Media Trial And Non Disclosure Of Looters Names by jakiedudu(m): 1:20pm On Jun 05, 2016
See why media trial and persecution of alleged corrupt individuals is wrong? How can this govt justify the non disclosure of of alleged looters names after rubbishing their person in public When did the govt realised that making looters names public is a bad idea
So after persecuting the likes of Raymond Dopkesi of AIT and others for a job they did for PDP in the last elections, the govt suddently realised that making names of looters public is wrong

absolute stupidity on display, use ur brains better next time . The FG and boko Haram have always indicated the willingness to discuss ceasefire, pmb has said it so many times that he wont make the same mistakes gej made by negotiating with the wrong set of people which resulted in the duping of FG to the tune of millions. Having concrete assurances that the chibok girls were alive was also seen as a very important matter due to the fact that boko haram had split into mainly 3 factions . With the release of these 2 girls ,the FG now know which faction to discuss the release of the girl with. Dont be surprised that within the next few months ,majority of these girls will be released in batches . Maybe u should also use ur brains to ask urself why the boko haram fighter wasn't arrested
What you just said is exactly what have been on my mind this morning. The circumstances surrounding the so called rescue of chibok girl by the military sounds like a fairy tale.
Indeed govt are negotiating with boko haram.

The same "fearless" Buhari who doesn't have the liver to probe the exploitations taking place in the power sector(where past heads of state and powerful Nigerians allegedly own the GENCOs and DISCOs) but can only flex muscle on Dasuki, Deziani, FFK, Metu, etc, who are seen as featherweights? Please bring another tale. Fearless indeed.
You just raised a valid point. Power sector privatisation is a good idea but the process done in Nigeria is a huge dose for concern. Most of the power station were sold to incompetent powerful individuals with no expertise whatsoever electricity generation. If this govt renage on reveiwing the privatisation done in the power sector then they on a mission to fail. Current power situation in the country is terrible.

I've tried as much as I can to remain silent over this chibok girls true/false saga.
I'm not for either true/false though.
Can somebody please explain to me how a 13yrs old hausa village girl passed through primary school(6yrs) secondary school(6yrs) = 12yrs.
Are they trying to tell me she started schooling at the age on 1yr?.
Let's further go back to history. They were kidnapped in 2014 abi?
2014 - 13 = 2001.
So they are telling me in 2001 chibok was so civilized that education was a normal thing?
Men and brethren, please if you must lie, do it with the fear of God.

Criticize me if you like, but please remember to tell lai Mohammed that this particular one didn't catch some of us

I've said my own
great observation. The average age of a Nigerian student in ss3 is 18 years and above.

The IPOB leader called Kanu is a terrorist that must be disregarded. Do not believe every lie you hear on his hate filled radio. They are trying so hard to force the people of the SS into their failed Biafra so they can dominate you people as majorities incase the biafra is ever declared (God Forbid). The IPOB and biafrans in general are known for their dominating attitude and the reason for this new friendship with the SS is to control their destinies and resources in future. Niger deltans must be aware that you people are entirely differents from the igbos. You are not brothers like they claim. Your culture and way of life is different. Do not be decieved by the recent chants of Biafra. It pays you people to be Nigerians than follow a biafra where u wont have control over your future. We yorubas are working tirelessly with the north to rebuild this country and make it great. the unpatriotic ones are the people shouting Biafra. Nigeria is your home people of the SS. You are better here. Do not be fooled by Nnamdi Kanu. He is going to die in jail for trying to break our great nation. Biafra will never come. We hate and condemn biafra.

Dominating attitude of Igbos is thousand times better than fulani domination. At least Igbo communities parts of Nigeria don't go about killing their host communities on the alter of religion like the fulani northern empire during the time of Usman Danfodio.

ganisucks:
Bunch of political jokers. After getting away with the first Chibok girl scam, the NA just had to bungle the entire movie by trying to snatch the credits for themselves. Looks like someone, somewhere wants to keep the credits for himself, hence why they released the true name of the real girl. This whole campaign might end up blowing up in APC's faces if they are not careful. Kudos to NA, una try xoxo!
That is why security matters are never politicized. This govt is playing politics with chibok girls.

This is exactly my argument on this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/3116678/chibok-girls-rescue-nigerian-military#3116678.9
you dont make rescue operations public until everything is sorted out. This is a big shame.

I beg to disagree
1- boko Haram have not killed them in two years, there are not going to harm them more than they have done
2-if they move there are more chances that they will be caught, maybe NA really wants them to move
3-announcing is good, send fears to boko haram camp, fear brings panic, panic errors.
So it's just the way you want to see things
Yes, but they killed other school students like them. You can't predict what they will do next.

Please who was rescued?
Amina abi na Aisha or is it Mbalala?

APC is seriously writing script for Buhari‘s 1year in office.

Before May 29th, ARMY WOULD HAVE RESCUED OVER 100girls.

Just watch them decieve us.
That was why I wrote this piece to look at it from another angle. Making public rescue of highly publicized kipnapped victims with others still in captivity defies security logic.
Lets wait and see what happens next.

Lolz, you think the Nigerian army doesnt know how to do that? That is how you will know that the whole tin is a big fat lie... Only a compound and hopelessly stupid person will believe d chibok nonsense.... cant u see everytin doesnt add up ni....... haha
There's a possibility that the whole thing might have been planned. Who knows the girls might be some where just waiting to be released one by one. That was why I wrote this from another angle assuming the kidnap actually took place. If indeed chibok girls were kidnapped, what the military authorities are doing defys military logic.

The girls should be released.
As it is now with the other two chibok girls recue made public, chances of freeing the others still in captivity have been jeapadized - that is if the chibok girls were actually kidnap because the whole rescue thing is becoming like a fairy tale. Information coming to us concerning the so call chibok girls rescue does not makes sence.

Politics / Chibok Girls Rescue: Nigerian Military Making Big Tactical Error. by jakiedudu(m): 10:23am On May 20, 2016
Rescue operations no matter the skills involved is always dangerous. This is because the hostages may end up as collateral damages. Its not an easy job and certainly not an option to lose one chibok girl considering their nature as school children.
For this reason any form of rescue plan any where in the world are done with the greatest of care. Any slip off and the operation will be ugly.
News making the rounds about the rescue of one chibok girl sounds like a joyous news to hear considering the fact that this girl together with others were in captivity for two years. But is making the rescue public a right thing to do Personally I think not. Why Because the lives of the other girls in captivity may be put in danger. The military made claims that chibok girl Amina was rescued in Sambisa forest. However, the mannar of the rescue operation sends huge red flags. Civilian JTF made it known that she was spotted deep Sambisa close to cameroonian border in campany of a boko haram member. At that point, she was brought down to the military for debrief. But seeing one escaped chibok girl deep in the forest does not carry much weight about a highly tactical rescue operation because she was not rescued inside boko haram's den. She was just spotted and picked up by vigilantee group. The girl herself made in known that she escaped from boko haram. If that was the case, why did the military made these incident public Hasn't it occurred to them that as soon as boko haram hears about the so call rescue operation they (boko haram terrorist) may be forced to change their location Has the military authorities took into consideration the dangers they might cause the rest of the girls in captivity after exposing Amina to the public This is not tactical. If anything it further compounds the woes of the other hostage in captivity.
Security wise, making public rescue operations when the rest of the hostages are still in captivity is counter productive. The abductors having seen their lost may decide to move their victims to another secure location, or worse (God forbid) kill them. That is why rescue plans are done in an atmosphere of absolute CONFIDENTIALITY! Unless all vitims are rescued, they can't be made public.
A case that I will like the cite here for us to learn the importance of planning and confidentiality in rescue operation is the incident that happened in South America. It happened in Columbia, I think when a former prime minister together with 10 others (I stand to be corrected) were kidnapped by Columbian rebels. We all know how dangerous these South American rebel fighters can be. Consider yourself lucky if you're recued with one member of your body missing. Most times kidnapped victims in that part of the world end up dead.
The Columbian govt knew where the hostages were kept. They knew their location. The problem was getting them all back in one piece alife.
For years the Columbian govt plotted every possible tactics they could think of to free these hostages. The idea came when the Columbian govt decided to infiltrate the rebel's group by means of under cover agents. They figured the victims stand a chance when the rebel group is infiltrated.
The agents selected for this dangerous task were giving the best training possible to make them act, talk, dress in every possible way like a full fledge rebel. Any mistake from one agent and the operation will end in disarster! For years these under cover operatives worked behind the scenes within rebels den perfecting, plotting and waiting patiently for the best possible time to execute their rescue plan.
The day came when these rebels (under cover agents) pretended that they were giving orders to move the kidnapped victims to another secure location. The real rebels in charge of the hostages thought it was just another routine rebel operation. So the kidnapped victims were all rounded up into a truck brought in and moved. As soon as these hostages were in the truck, signal was send to a military chopper to land in a secret location. There the victims were borded unto the helicopter and taking away. Throughout these operation, the hostages never knew they were been rescued. It was when they landed in a Columbian govt military base that it occured to them that their so call rebel transporters were actually under cover agents! They were free at last, having been in captivity for 10 years!
That operation by the Columbian between 2007 and 2008 was perharps the best rescue operation organised in the history of the world! Even America at that time wanted to share in the glory of the superp rescure operation but were quickly rebuffed by the Columbian govt.
The above example is not for Nigerian military to do exactly as the Columbian govt did, but for them to understand that rescue operations anywhere in the world are done in complete confidentiality.
Making Chibok girl rescue public with others still in captivity is security wise untactical.

I believe that even Oliver Twist will not ask for more again after MTN has bombarded every class of individuals with data plans that are suitable for their needs.

Here they go again with data plans that are suitable for students and low income earners in the society as you can now get 100MB for N100 or 50MB for N50, whichever of them you want, all valid for 7days.

To get MTN 100MB for N100 plus extra 12minutes of talk time simply dial *123*2*6# to migrate to MTN Better Talk and then after that text J11 to 142.

To get 50MB for N50, still on Better Talk, text J12 to 142, N50 will be deducted from your Better Talk balance and you will be credited with 50MB data, all valid for 7days.
