If the local governments are performing the state will be performing. Also, if the states are performing, the federal govt will be performing. The parts make the whole! |
texazzpete:Yes, that is why an appointee should have the moral courage to voluntarily resign his appointment in the face of lack of satisfaction with the actions of his employer. But do appointees/employees resign at all in Nigeria? No! Until we learn to be patriotic and follow enduring principles, blind loyalty will continue. |
Bevista:Thank you for adding the bolded. That is why any appointee that feels the C-In-C is not giving patriotic leadership to the country should voluntarily resign the appointment. But any appointee while still holding the office/position who shows any element of disloyalty to the C-in-c has committed a crime and will be fired from office immediately. I feel your pains and I share in the same pains. What Nigerian leaders/appointees have not yet imbibed is the ability to voluntarily resign their positions on the ground of non-performance, personal principle or national patriotism. This is the greatest problem of our country. |
1forall:Yes, I am afraid for Nigeria's future because most of us so call educated elites are ignorant of the contents of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Every elected president and commander in chief is entitle to appoint people he wants to work with and such appointees must give their 100% loyalty to him or resign. Period. |
Bevista:ALL of them owe their loyalty to the president and commander in chief. I am talking from a point of superior knowledge of those institutions. |
mentorandfriend:Was it the public that appointed them or the president and commander in chief? Please go and read the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria and the laws establishing those institutions to know to whom their loyalty should go. |
philips70:You just made a blank damaging statement without substance. Tell us which portion of my statement is false, please. |
mentorandfriend:Are you talking from the point of the constitution and rule of law or from personal jungle law? ![]() |
alobam1:Thank you bros. |
Writer is suffering from military rule hallucination! The rule of law must prevail in a democracy hence nobody will be jailed without due process. Some persons shout "jail" as if we are in a military rule. Many with this " automatic jail" mentality will be disappointed! |
Nonsense. Most Nigerian so call educated elites are ignorant of the constitution and the writer above is number one of them. He/she should go and read the constitution and the various laws of those organisations to know to whom their loyalty should go to. To help: Their loyalty is to the President and Commander in Chief of the federation. In Summary: Their loyalty goes to whoever is the President and Commander in Chief of the federal republic of Nigeria, even if the president and commander in chief is a goat! Any appointee that doesn't like the president and commander in chief is permitted by law to tender his/her letter of resignation. |

I read somewhere that AA blood is sweeter than AS blood to mosquitoes. So if AA and AS persons are in a room, the mosquitoes will daze the AA person and ignore the AS person. I monitored the assertion and it is actually true. The mosquitoes rarely suck from AS person when AA person is available. You think say mosquito no know better thing? Mosquitoes too no wan catch sickle cell o. ![]() |
