If companies that registered with Corporate Affairs Commission pay taxes why should churches that register with CAC not pay taxes? By registering with CAC such churches have made themselves a worldly profit making organisation hence should pay tax. Husband & Wife Churches take note.

winner01: then why don't you find yourself a true living church and stop crying,...the devil knows the truth and therefore he trys as much as possible to raise men up to teach heretic doctrines...d devil is less concerned with other religions because they all head to him, but he is bent on concealing the truth..You pray for the church of God and try to find out about God's word so as to preach the truth to people ...
I'm crying because my brothers have fallen into the trap of conmen in the name of MenOfGod. I want freedom for my brothers in such bondage. As for me, I know the WORD and nobody can deceive me. .

winner01: okay, and I should stop paying tight because a skunk said so..oh please....concerning corruption, it dates as far back to the begining of humanity and so I don't see how christianity aids corruption.. You need help.
Its true there has always been corruption. But I tell you most solemnly, corruption is accelerating at an alarming rate with every increase in husband and wife churches, because emphasizes is on prosperity and paying tithes instead of obeying the 10 commandments of God. No wonder our leaders who attend such churches still loot our commonwealth and call it, "God's favour". God's favour and blessing in deed! grin grin When morality is lacking among the pastors, can we find morality in the brethren? Stealing in the name of the Lord!
Christianity Etc › Re: Numbers 18 Faults Oyedepo’s Teaching On Tithes by jamace(m): 11:06am On Jul 13, 2014
Husband and wife churches are private businesses solely owned by them and their families. The husband and the wife are the CEOs of the churches. They emphasize tithe giving to enrich their pockets that is why they are very rich and enjoy life even more than the so call worldly people. In addition, husband and wife churches are the cause of corruption in the world today. They emphasize prosperity and underplay keeping the 10 commandments of God and loving your neighbour as your self. They hide under the cover of the grace of God and claim they are no longer under the law. Hence they psychologically empower their members to steal from their place of work to donate to the churches, believing that their actions are justified. If you doubt me, prove to me why corruption is so rife in the society today despite the churches everywhere.

jaymichael: Do not misconstrue my quote. You could as well added payment of civil servants salaries as one of his phantom achievements. What I mean is that he failed woefully and is still failing in his capacity as the president. You were counting patching of some road, building of some hospitals and power distribution stations that have no power to transmit or distribute. Some progressive thinking state government are building better roads and hospitals and providing lasting infrastructure that your miserable thieving kingpin called Jonathan. Now tell me has electricity improved since the so called privatization your Jonathan has put in place? How many new power generating plants has been built by his administration? We still struggle to generate 4000mw for a population of 160 million while South Africa generates close to 50,000mw for a population of 50 million. Tell me the use of transmission stations without power to transmit?.Your Jonathan thats has scored 0 in the area of education ASUP/COEASU strike is still on going.
If you say I hate Jonathan, I will tell you that you observe well because I cannot love an 1diot that has zero respect for elective principles. A cluless individual who blames the opposition, critics and anyone but himself for his woes and failures. A f00l who loves all the trappings of power but not the responsibilities that comes with it. you and your paymasters can only f00l the ill informed or gullible ones or those whose political culture cum behaviour is parochial with your cheap propaganda. I am too well informed for that. Besides I don't celebrate mediocrity.
Need I remind you that though I voted for Jonathan last time around, but come 2015 My vote will go for someone else that can deliver. JONATHAN IS A FAILURE, that is why I HATE him.
Whether you like it or not, GEJ has achieved a lot. If you are not satisfied, be a man, show your courage by doing like your heroes. Stop hiding behind the computer to vomit trash, organise protests in Abuja then I will take you serious. You are an ingrate and toothless bulldog.

jaymichael: I don't know fools often open their mouths the widest. Dont you peruse what you type? Your Jonathan gave the citizens freedom of speech?? Where was the ogogoro drinking 1diot you call ur president and his co-gang during the struggles for democracy? An opportunist benefiting from the struggles of groups like NADECO, AFENIFERE, Chief Frank Kokori's NUPENG. Struggles of notable and fearless men like Gani fawehinmi, Fedrick Fasheun, Wole Soyinka, Tunde Bakare, Chief Enahoro, Beko kuti, Fela kuti, Olisa Agbakoba, Festus Keyamo, Kudirat and MKO Abiola, ken Saro wiwa nd the Ogoni 8. and many other notable men of courage and valour I did not mention. These are Nigeria's hero of democracy, (you probably were too young to know back then) not your oportunist drunkard if a president. All these you call achiements and development are just the primary actions and statutory responsibilities of Government agencies and parastatals and not a brainchild of genius governmental policies. A spineless Jonathan that cannot fight for his right when Yaradua died. A woman Turai dribbling his bottom like a mere kid.you now open your ignoran mouth to tell me that he is the one that "dash" me freedom of speech #ANIMAL CAN'T DASH ME HUMAN RIGHT.
I'm happy you have acknowledged that GEJ has achieved "primary actions and statutory responsibilities". What else do you want from GEJ? You should ask your Local Government Chairman who is closest to you, in the governmental hierarchy, what he has done with the money allocated to the LGA by the FG. You should also ask your governor what he has done for you with the huge allocations collected on your behalf. I know you will not bother about asking them questions because you have sworn to dislike GEJ. You have failed.

With your historical exegesis on the heroes of Nigeria, I was expecting to see what you contributed to the struggle, sadly nothing. No wonder, leveraging on the freedom won by men of courage, you ran your mouth like a water tap without control, insulting the President, because you don't know the cost of freedom. You are a bloody coward exhibiting bravery only on your keyboard.

Finally, I put it to you that you are one of the problems of Nigeria because you are a certificated illiterate, always looking for faults and contributing nothing to the development of the society.

You asked for his achievemments and I showed you. Now you are talking trash. Where were you (with all your history) when the "drunkard" became your president? You are one of the problems of Nigeria because with all your education, you can not even be a Local Govt Chairman. You are a certificated OLODO who do not know that freedom has limit.

jaymichael: Not only are you blind, you are a blind mor0n. Your f00lishness knows no bounds. Did you listen to yourself? You acknowledged that he couldn't tackle corruption and insecurity because other past leaders couldn't either and insecurity is a global phenomenon. We did not vote our clueless president to remind us of past failures. We voted him to get the job done and if he can't stand the heat, he should get out of the kitchen. Need i remind you to list his achievements so far? Sorry say I insult you, its because of your level of intelligence as potrayed by your post above. I wonder how you even pass common entrance.
I don't blame you. Enjoy the freedom which GEJ has given even the dumbest CITIZEN like you. Representing your PRESIDENT with goats shows that you lack common home training. You are a waste to this nation.

Because of your blind hatred, you can not even acknowledge some of the achievements of GEJ. To refresh your low level of intelligence, go to the thread below and get acquainted with some of GEJ's achievements.

jaymichael: are you so blind to see? Nobody is bringing Jonathan down. That guy is down already. The only thing left is for him to hit "crude oil" his performance and actions speak for him far more that the paid and feeble attempt at buying credibility at home and abroad. He should know that his reputation preceeds him and whipping up "ethnic-religous" sentiments cannot erase and correct his woefully dismal performance. #even goats know better.
You must be blind in deed not to know that the post was not from cramjones but someone else.

For your information GEJ has performed well above other previous presidents. You may not believe this because your mind is madeup to rubbish GEJ's administration. If you want to talk about insecurity, you should know that most countries of the world are facing same. If it is corruption you want to use to nail GEJ, you should know that previous presidents/head of states failed to nip corruption in the bud hence the high level it has assumed.
