This orangutan called Tinubu will not respect himself. After caging Fashola and looting Lagos financially, appointment wise and property wise, he is talking about how corruption has led to poverty. I feel like skinning that orangutan. Let him go and sell all his private jets and give the money to the poor. Nonsense. angry

In the first place, must the govt appease the Oba by appointing his son in govt? This is why injustice pervades the system. So the son of nobody will remain a nobody till thy kingdom come, abi? This situation of opportunistic appointments is the greatest evil I have seen in Nigeria. There are children of nobodys who are more capable than the sons of these ex-this, ex-that. Please, govt give us equal right and justice.

Distribution companies cheat Nigerians, says NUPENG

Power distribution companies cheat and shortchange Nigerians by issuing high electricity bills despite their persistence in supplying erratic power, the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers has said.

NUPENG said it was worried and concerned about the high rate of electricity bills passed to consumers by the Discos.

The union’s President, Mr. Achese Igwe, in a statement on Wednesday, said the power firms issue exorbitant electricity bills to consumers who hardly enjoy their services.

He said, “The epileptic power supply nationwide by these new companies call for urgent overhaul of the entire system. The Nigerian electricity consumers are being shortchanged, cheated and embarrassed with fraudulent bills when there is no electricity.

“These fraudulent bills are putting more hardship, especially on the downtrodden who cannot even afford three square meals a day, but now have to cough out monies for electricity that they don’t get.”

NUPENG stated that the exploitative attitude of the new Disco was unjust, oppressive, uncalled for and not in tune with the energy reforms of the transformation agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan.

http://dailyindependentnig.com/2014/07/discos-cheats-nigerians-says-nupeng/

Yes, I agree with NUPENG. The rate of exploitation by these discos is damn high. Imagine receiving estimated bills for power not consumed.

Some times, the disco officials cut wires of consumers and still issue the same estimated bills at the end of the month without putting into consideration the fact that such consumer had no power during the period. I'm really sad that Nigerians are always cheated by powers that be.

Todate, prepaid meters have not been issued to over 99% of the consumers. I'm yet to see any serious action by the regulatory body in ensuring that prepaid meters are installed for consumers.

"It is so important that you are grateful for everything in your life. Many people focus on the one thing they want and then forget to be grateful for all the things they have. Without gratitude you cannot achieve anything through the law of attraction, because if you are not emanating gratitude from your being, then by default you are emanating ungratefulness. Be proactive and use the frequency of your being to receive what you want".

jp philips: @OP

After all the research yet you cannot mobilize your community to do something that will bring results, you just sit behind your laptop waiting for a blackberry thief to strip naked where you dont succeed, you face one chance husslers to burn them alive, meanwhile you cant throw a simple banger into any of obj's farm as big as it is,
You see your life?
LOL. I feel I have done something by exposing obj's holier than thou attitude. Those who think OBJ is a saviour will know that OBJ does not love them one bit. Knowledge is power and I feel accomplished empowering the people with information, which is knowledge.

Hmm. From what I read about the committee report, its findings are not different from what we already know. Even NL has more information than that committee report. Maybe, the members were camped in one hotel in Maiduguri while the governor gave them the gist.

I hope the report has the names of the missing girls, their parents/guardians names and addresses of the parents/guardians for further investigation.

The doubts continue.

I am just giving him time because of the employees, they better start looking for another work as i will ensure that broking firm is closed down.
Abeg, chase them well well. Some of these brokers are heartless, they want to make their clients broke.
