It is obvious that Nigeria is no longer safe. Issue such as this should not be taken lightly. To be forewarned, is to be forearmed! |
Frankly speaking, Jos crises will be referred to in future as one of the immediate causes of the breakup of Nigeria. Quote me. A lot of silent killings on both sides (christians and muslims) have been taking place but our leaders have only been blowing grammar and enriching themselves through the crises. None of them wants to tell the truth. Nigeria as I see it today is a failed state (crucify me if you like! ) . Nigeria is a country where the leaders do not believe in the cause of the country. The leaders think abroad in all their actions. For examples; our leaders think abroad when they are sick, they think abroad when they steal our money; they also think abroad for their children's education and even think abroad when they want to have a nice holiday. Try and challenge any of these so-call leaders on why Nigeria is not functioning well and they will shock you will their unpatroitic response. If the leaders have lost faith in the good of the country, is it the security forces that will risk their lives for the citizens? In this latest incidence in Jos, I learnt that one of the leaders in the affected area in Jos complained bitterly, that there were about 5 soldiers deployed to guard the area but the soldiers were no where to be found when the attack took place. The leader alleged connivance of the security personnel with the attackers. As this was happening, it was reported by the PPRO Abuja, Mr Ojukwu that a vehicle conveying boxes of ammunitions heading to Jos was intercepted by the police at Saminaka. The ammunition was said to have been bought from Gusau by one Alhaji living in Jos. The Alhaji was said to be at large. My people, do not be decieved. War is imminent in Nigeria. Break-up is inevitable. |
In a free and fair election, IBB will be defeated hands down. But why must Nigeria continue to recycle old bones like IBB and his ilks in a country of over 140 MILLION PEOPLE? |
Nothing! |

I think he has just shown that power supply is very dear to his heart. It will be a great plus for his brief administration if he succeeds in this effort. Wishing him the best. |

May this speech bring the needed change in Nigeria. I'm watching. |
They are wasting their money and time. IBB is expired! |
Why should the chief priestess (Turai) fling open the hitherto iron-gate of the masquerade to whosoever wills now? Where are the cabal? Has the magical powers of the gods departed the shrine that it is no longer sacred and out of bound to all, including the VP,senators et al? Shame on Turai and the Yar'adua cabal .God will continue to disgrace all those who think that Nigeria is their personal property one by one. |
^^^ Who told you? The guy knows what he was supposed to do. The guy was held by a cabal of fuel importers and subsidy collectors who are out to frustrate any attempt to make NNPC functional in order to maintain the status quo. |
These poor christians/muslims will continue to kill themselves while the rich politicians instigating them to action live in well fortified edifices, with their children schooling abroad. I have no pity any longer for these poor christians/muslims killing themselves because they have refused to learn. |

Truely, the Moderators have to wake up to their responsibilities. Too many jokes/junks/repeatitive posts in this Politics Section. I can't see any reason why we should be blasting our failed leaders in Nigeria while the Moderators, who are leaders of this Forum and this Politics Section in particular, are not doing any better. I urge all members of NL to take leadership issues seriously, no matter how insignificant. Who knows, you might be called upon one day to give leadership in Nigeria. In addition, members of this Forum who are already Nigerian leaders should please show the light by providing true leadership. Nigeria needs true leaders. |
WOE UNTO NIGERIAN LEADERS! When our leaders are sick, they run abroad for treatment. What about our own hospitals? Our leaders go on holidays abroad. What about our own tourist atractions? Every year our budgets are not executed to the fullest Rather the monies are stolen and put in foregn banks. What is wrong with Nigerian banks? In education, our leaders put their children in schools outside Nigeria. Why are their children not in Nigeria public schools? For political appointments and general employments, our leaders give notes to their own candidates to be selected/employed. What happens to those candidates who have no godfathers or whose parents are not senators, emirs, bishops, military generals etc? In our churches and mosques, our leaders are accorded front seats/rows during prayers while the masses sit behind them. Are the bishops/imams saying that our leaders are holier than other worshippers? Frankly speaking, our leaders have no faith in Nigeria. They do lip service in order to continue to loot our resources. Ask any of them why Nigeria is not working and they will tell you "My friend, this is Nigeria. Play along and chop your own". It is evident that Nigeria has a failed leadership, and hence Nigeria is a failed state! ![]() |
