See argument for and against the killing of the BOKO HARAM leaders and the followers. Everybody has got a point. However, I make bold to state that I strongly support the actions of the govt soldiers and policemen. Any group whether BOKO HARAM, MEND, MASSOP and any other yet unborn that has the guts to arm itself and kill innocent citizens, including the military and paramilitary personnel should be treated with equal treatment on the spot if arrested. Could you believe that these bastards had the effrontery to attack police stations in military fashion? There is no country in the world, no matter how they respect the application of the rule of law that would wait to try such rebels in a court, rebels who have declared open defiance to constituted authorities to the extent of openly killing innocent citizens and security personnel. Those, on this Forum who are crying foul and agaitating for rule of law for those vagabonds are talking from classroom experience. I don't blame them. I thank the govt for the practical and pragmatic approach to the issue. |
I wouldnt have minded o, but this thread doesnt make much senseMummy, relaxing now. Be happying in the small senses. |
Even an infant would realise you are using old business tactics to denigrate your competitor so that people will start patronising you. The same thing you and your cohorts did to www.goldkobo.com. Come on bros, it's high time we start doing business in Nigeria the right way. If you doubt what i'm saying, just type any business name here and ask forum members (or some crooks) to post negative information about that name. I guarantee you, within a week, the internet will floating with those negative info whenever someone types that name. Do not bring harm to nairaland.com by posting info that could be used for litigation here. ![]() Are you saying that U1 is telling a cock and bull story? Please explain why it is a PHD (Pull Him Down) story. |

Others.Whichever field or area we look at, they are all down and out due to corruption. Even our religious institutions are riddled with corruption. Imagine being labelled one of the most religious and corrupt nations in the world, at the same time. What a contradiction! Shall we talk about national elections? I percieve the stench of corruption too Therefore, from all the problem areas posited for consideration in this thread, corruption remains the bane of their successful implementation or functionality. So, I strongly suggest the govt should focus on corruption first. It is the cankerworm and common enemy. To eradicate or bring corruption to the barest minimum, the Govt of Nigeria needs to deploy every arsenal within its constitutional powers to fight the monster called corruption that has become the main cog in our wheel of progress. Anti-Corruption agencies like the EFCC and ICPC should be mobilised, empowered and given the free hand to deal ruthlessly with corrupt officials and private persons. The judiciary should please give the anti-corruption agencies full cooperation in order for this fight to be successful. The Federal Govt should liaise with other countries and international anti-corruption agencies in this great battle. Thank you all. |
